Hi, Lisa and Mark just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your video’s, I’m slowly getting to watch them all - thank you - Please keep them coming 😀
The workmanship and skills involved in building the older buildings and churches is incredible!! Such details and intricacies..... they always amaze me!! And look at the height of them - and they did it hundreds of years ago!!
Saltburn on sea is a great place to camp we did it last week . Free parking on road side with sea view. All campers are welcolme . Well worth a try lovely views
@@NorthernersonTourwe live near Saltburn and know it well. There are two places to stop. There are dedicated MH spots in the bottom Cat Nab car park. You can park overnight for a charge. Most motorhomers park on the top prom known as Marine Parade. It's free, some of the locals moan about it because in the summer it gets rammed but this time of the year it's fine. The adjacent Marine Hotel is dog friendly. It's a walk down to the bottom prom though but worth it. If the cliff lift is running it's a breeze to get down there. It's also dog friendly too.
Yes try Saltburn it’s a lovely Victorian seaside town, motorhomes park up overnight on the top promenade, lots of lovely indipendant shops cafes and restaurants and Italian gardens to walk through x
We live on the East Coast. Saltburn is a good place to visit but I would avoid Redcar and the vertical pier 😂 yes that is right vertical pier it divided a lot of people mainly the cost. Lots of charity shops Lisa. Safe travels
shame about the early start. We used to go to Flamborough every year for our family holidays, with the fog rolling in from the North Sea and the fog horn blasting out! It’s a lovely little village, well worth a visit, and Sewerby Park too. Thankyou for another brilliant video.
A city is a city because it has a Cathedral! Without one it has to have a Royal Warrant to become a city. Magnificent building and interesting commentary. Miss Chico!! Xx 💫
No mention of the beavers then Lisa 😂 beautiful Minster. Thankyou both for your blog , love watching you getting around everywhere. Make it all so interesting xxx
I can really recommend South Shields for your east coast trip. Coleman’s fish and chips are world renowned - Hilary Clinton and John Major have both been there. Love your videos they are great fun. Best wishes Lindsey
yes South Shields was a eye opener for me when we went with our friends that live in Sunderland. I couldn't believe how blue the sea was compared to further down the coast like Bridlington. It has a lovely vibe about it.@@NorthernersonTour
Hope you do make it there. Ocean Road in South Sheilds is world famous for the Indian restaurants (not sure if there are any Chinese restaurants on that road though) and minchellas on the sea front does fabulous toasties and ice creams. Lovely beaches and walks for Chico. Then I would recommend going across the river Tyne and head to Tynemouth and Whitley Bay for your next stop. Spanish City at Whitley bay is amazing - beautiful cafe and fish and chips there it’s brilliant!
Looks really nice, sweet Bridlington even in the cold. I like to see shark gray seas. Good luck on your way up the east coast. See you soon . I'll be looking out for you. Thank you for sharing. Hugs + kisses 😘😘😘
Great video, we have been to Beverley and also found it difficult to park in Bridlington. There is some great places to visit on the North York Moors, near to the east coast. Try Pickering (parking overnight in the Big Bear Bike shop car park £10.00 per night), Thirsk (parking overnight allowed in car park near the river), Northallerton (24 hour parking allowed at the back of the high street £4.75), Robin Hoods Bay, Saltburn on Sea (overnight parking allowed in the car park on the front), Goathland (where they filmed heartbeat), also if you can get the van parked Durham city xx
spent a lot of my childhood having holidays in brid, Scarborough and Blackpool. your right Bridlington is heaving in the summer as is scarbados. Bridlington the town is not great but where is these days! where do you go between free park ups to charge up and empty waste...etc? thanks again for keeping us all entertained x
we don’t charge up we have a b2b so battery charges when we travel and if we get any solar it’s a bonus or if not planning on traveling will look for a cheap site to charge up on if punched and empty waste other then that we look for service points or use public toilets but not very often we also have two cassettes
We just spent 2 nights in Whitby, free at Abbey car park, and then went to Seaham, car parks opp beach are derestricted. Saltburn also good for a visit
As a person who actually lives in Bridlington it’s a nice place to go when it is summer time the fair is open and is really fun to be at that “pool” you saw near the seafront next to like a caterpillar rollercoaster isn’t a pool it’s like a bubble pool where u get into them bubble looking things and I can agree parking is horrible places get full so quick but once u find somewhere it’s a fun to walk about relax and if you can find anything fun it’s worth it
evening Lisa mark and chico already a few subscribers have recommended Saltburn-By-The-Sea yes there is free overnight parking at the bottom of the bank with toilet facilities but only 4 camper van parking first come first served basis called cat nab car park, but failing that there are loads of parking at the top of the bank over looking the sea ,keep up your great vlogs
I'm new to your channel and its so interesting. We went to Bridlington, Whitby & Scarborough a couple of months ago in our campervan. You have pointed out more places than we had chance to see so thanks for taking us with you. Take care & safe journeys.🤗
Best fish and chips on the harbour we go often with our touring caravan we done every season our favourite place to visit on the east coast we have a blue badge and can park right be the sea … there’s a nice weather spoons pub … the town never shuts only the tourist bits enjoy your travels😊
Mark you looked like someone homeless lying on that beach 😂 Lisa loved your comment at the start about not camping 🏕️ Chico could not do camping he loves the heat
Hey what about Hartlepool, you've got seaton Carew ,historic quay and free museum, church st bars . marina with lots of bars etc doggie friendly ,and the famous small crafts in ,lots of lovely beaches ❤.
Parking can be hard in Bridlington for larger vehicles like yours, we do how ever have a coach/car park up Lime kiln lane Northside were people staying over night
Hi folks, we have been watching your blogs for a while and find them very useful and fun, Love Marks diet, just like mine. Have you done the Sefton Coast, Formby and Crosby are lovely and have the most fantastic beaches, Keep Blogging. Clive and Christine.
I’ve just come across your U-Tube video’s well I watched the one abroad where you were in your motor home. I’ve just noticed chico he’s gorgeous does e always sit with his tongue out
I love Bridlington, spent many a holiday there, though it has changed and not for the better. There used to be a great Chinese takeaway in Brid called Chu's Kitchen, sadly its been gone many years now.
Bridlington is great in summer think I would prefer it now when it's quiet the minster was wonderful great vlog can't wait to see whitby you got to get some kippers
The cliffs you see from Bridlington is Flamborough Head a major wildlife reserve. Robin Hoods Bay is very quaint. Goathland is near Whitby which is Heartbeat country if you remember Heartbeat.
❤ Wow! That Abbey is well worth a visit it’s beautiful. Thank you for always bringing such amazing content and the music you use is lovely. I have been binge watching you both all day.❤ Go inside the Chinese and ask what the cost of a takeaway meal is, Chinese and Indian restaurants do takeaway meals. Cheeko is the cutest wee dog and he is so well behaved.
Hi Guys, enjoyed watching your visit to Bridlington, was there many years ago for a summer holiday, completely different in season, mind you most seaside resorts are. Had to laugh at Mark laid out on that bench, you should have left him with mug and a sign saying homeless and hungry, he might have collected enough to pay for his Chinese, if able to find one😊 Safe travels to Whitby, will lookout for that. Whitby is where Bram Stoker the writer of Dracula got his inspiration from. It’s a big attraction for goths, I expect you know, it gets absolutely rammed during Goth week. Take good care. Paul in Newark Nottinghamshire xxx
We’re hoping to visit the east coast next year, so your vlogs are great to help with our planning. Beverley looks a lovely place to visit, so it’s on the list for sure. Looking forward to the next vlog 🙂
I did enjoy seeing you both & chicco chasing the birds. I had a holiday there with my mum. Your life style is fab and envy you both. But you are my eyes and legs getting around and I love it. Thank you to you both. Stay safe xxx
Flamborough Head Lighthouse is an active lighthouse located at Flamborough, East Riding of Yorkshire. England. Flamborough Head Lighthouse acts as a waypoint for passing deep sea vessels and coastal traffic, and marks Flamborough Head for vessels heading towards Scarborough and Bridlington
Lisa and Mark Another amazing and informative video, enjoying them very much xx - 1664 The cult of John, like all other saints, had been abolished by Henry VIII, who robbed and destroyed his splendid tomb and shrine, but Beverley did not forget what it owed to John. His bones, rediscovered in 1664, were re-interred in their present tomb between the nave choir stalls, and his main Feast on 7th May is once again a ‘red-letter day’. 1936 The tomb slab inscribed to St John of Beverley was placed in the nave floor.
You need a clear cat back pack for the fur baby. That way he can go to more places. Lol...my mom had a little one that looked just like but she passed a few weeks ago at age ten. Great video❤
Hello Lisa and Mark I like chico reminds me of my dog years ago spot small jack Russell mine had large ears a d I had him for 21 years I still miss him now I lost him 24 years ago john
Another great video! It's been 30 years since I've visited Beverley. I was in my final year of Hull uni living in Cottingham and my mate and I used to cycle out that far. Maybe someone has mentioned already that Beverley Minster gives Hull the City status?
We loved Bridlington when we went, filey bird garden and animal park is great, fairly certain it’s dog friendly aswell, Tow bar at Cayton bay does great food and is definately dog friendly and peasholm park in Scarborough is a gorgeous place to feed squirrels etc x

The last time we went to Beverley was as part of a coach trip while we were staying in Hull and went to visit the Museum of Army Transport. Just Googled it to see where it was and surprised to read that it went into administration in 2003. I can't believe it was obviously before that when we visited as it seems no more than 12-15 yr. ago. It was a fantastic place to look around.
