Today I will be going over the rules for my Tekton toolkit giveaway. My tool haul video smashed through the 100 like threshold in under 24 hours. Thank you all for the support.
I usually pay full price for most tools but my first big Tekton purchase I was able to use the 15% off which saved me over $150.. Got a couple sweet 40’s oxwall pliers for $3 last weekend as well, decent deal.
The 50% off deal was awesome. By the time I got there, all boxed socket sets were gone. Ratchets too. Got some good screwdrivers and some deep sockets.
Found a lot of tools(ratchets w/ sockets,wrenches, pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, etc...)at a metal scrapyard. Was able to put together a pick-n-pull(junkyard) bag👍🏻
My best tool deal was inheriting many of my grandpa's tools when clearing our their house as my Dad and Uncle already had many of the tools that he and didn't need or want them. Now I need a workshop to get them out of the shed.
So jealous! I contemplated skipping Thanksgiving with family to drive 10 hours to Indiana/Ohio for Meijer deals. Best deal i got was the Milwaukee power tool set at home depot for 399 and 499.
@@toptiergarage7378 update! Girlfriend encouraged an impromptu trip to scavenge 15 Meijer stores for whats left. Left Charleston SC Thursday Night 9pm, drove around Lexington KY, Cincinnati OH, Indianapolis IN, and Louisville KY all day Friday and now we are ~3 hours from home Saturday Morning. Haha good thing my girlfriend shares my interests!
Best tool deal I ever got was a week ago when my grandpa gave me all the tools out of an old barn he was tearing down! All vintage nothing super usable but you cannot beat free!
Best deal I got was while I was in school and getting 50-70% off all the truck brand tools. It was a good deal then, but now I’m all about the tekton, sunex, gp brands and their amazing deals!
Best deal ever was probably just finding stuff on the street, probably falling out of engines after leaving shops. I've found a Snap on ratchet, extension and several sockets over the years. Other than that just random ebay pickups. I wasn't close enough to the Meijer stores to get in on that. I would have loaded up.
I bought the sunex 3/8 drive master set for like $150 a while back and I found a toolbox in the middle of the road a few years ago that had a $150 matco 1/4 flexhead ratchet in it and you can't beat free
I got a full set of metric craftsman USA 3/8ths deep sockets from my girlfriends dad. He gave me a big box of junk tools that he was going to throw away and there was some good stuff. I also got a snapon 1/4 wobble a snapon slide breaker bar and a couple tiny snapon sockets.
Best tool deal I got was a compound sliding miter saw for $8 at an auction, and built my garage with it. It owes me nothing! lol. I have been looking at getting a tekton set for a while now just need to pull the trigger. Oh yeah, On Wisconsin!
Hey I just finished high school landed a job at a used car dealership and starting my tool arsenal, I just got this sweet deal at home depot for black friday. It was the m12 fuel hex impact driver with battery and charger for $100 bucks:D
Best deal I have ever gotten was a 200 piece Craftsman socket set from Sears for $100 in December of 2008. It was all sockets in 3 different drives. I still use it to this day. I have lost the 13s 15s and 10s in every drive. Find replacements every time I go to the local swap meet 😆
The worst deal I got was from Autozone. I got a 24 piece deep well set last year that came in a box with a plastic window so you can see the sockets. Opened it up a few months ago to put it in my tool box and to my shock the sockets out of view was standered depth... Always read the back of the box to see the size chart 😂 think I paid about 35 bucks for it.
I bought like ten William's C clamps at a garage sale expecting to spend five to ten bucks a piece depending on the size. They just wanted fifteen bucks for all of it. I couldn't believe it.
Best tool deal I got was at my neighbors yard sale. Saw a little metal tool box so I opened it and there was a variety of Mac, Matco, and craftsman sockets and ratchets. Paid $4
my best tool pick up getting a craftsman 12volt impact driver for $16.00 during a store closing. Honestly, best little drill for around the house stuff.
The best deal is the free deal! :))) Once I stopped my car near the motorway and found a ratchet with a 12mm socket still attached... It was a cheap, Chinese one, but still... Beggars can't be choosers as the saying goes :) Since then I've started buying some more sockets, extensions, U-joints, etc. for it, but unfortunately the mechanism of that ratchet didn't hold up while I was trying to remove a stubborn bolt and now I'm on a market for a decent quality set. Tekton seems like a great choice in terms of quality, value for money and their warranty, so I hope I'll be the lucky one who wins this set. BTW, good luck with your channel. You seem like a decent guy and I like your tools reviews, so I'm going to keep an eye on your videos. P.S. more Tekton tool reviews would be highly appreciated!
Free is always the best 😂. There will be plenty of Tekton reviews in the future. If you saw my last video I went a tad overboard with the 50% off sale 😬.
I would say the best tool deal I ever got was from an older tech at my job who was retiring so he sold me everything he didn’t need for 50% off regular snap on price.
Best purchase Tekton 50% off sale.... Also There always the Proto Hand me downs at work or found in/on equipment I’ve worked on left by the last person who worked on something
My best deal was maybe the Tekton 1/2 rachet socket set. It did take 5 hours and 7 Meijer trips. Itching to get the 3/8 set. Bought some deep socket 3/8 in metric/sae just in case I didn’t find it as consolation.
@@toptiergarage7378 i wasn't sure about them but I'm glad i didn't waste money on a snap or mac when I'm not in a professional setting just home use 100% satisfied. I wish i had a Meijer's though so i could spend that money i saved on some 50% off Tekton tools lol
My best tool deal so far was picking up a dewalt xtreme 12-volt max brushless drill kit including 2 battery charger & bag at Lowes for $80 about weeks ago🛠️🛠️🛠️🛠️🛠️
Best power tool deal I got was at Costco, $249 for a Makita 18v kit with their top of the line hammer drill, their second best impact driver, a charger, two 5Ah batteries, and a carry bag
Best tool I ever got was at home depot I went to buy some wall hangers it said they were $4 a piece but they rang up of $0.01 each I went back and bought all 12 they had. But if that not considered a tool I got some channel lock brand plier that were originally $25 for the pair, and I paid $6 for them.
The best tool deals i got is just from tektons site I have alot of there tools and I could use that kit to put in my To go bag for the trails and getting parts at the junk yard tekton has great stuff
My best craftsman tool deal was when my dad left me nothing but his tool and find his life without us. So I was able to sell it to pay our bills at that time.
My best deal was 15% off a double box end ratcheting flex head with off set icon set retailer 199 got it for 160 and some change. Not bad and I use them all the time my most used wrench’s
The best tool deal I got was a Husky right angle pneumatic cut off tool for $15!!! Thanks for the opportunity to participate in an awesome contest with awesome tools!!! 😁 🔧🔨🗜🧰
Probably just ordering straight of the tekton website as I am in a service program that qualifies for their 25% off or whatever it is On top of the 10%
This is cool. Nice of you to do.
I usually pay full price for most tools but my first big Tekton purchase I was able to use the 15% off which saved me over $150.. Got a couple sweet 40’s oxwall pliers for $3 last weekend as well, decent deal.
Just picked up used all older USA made Craftsman tools including multiple ratchets, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. some looking brand new.
The 50% off deal was awesome. By the time I got there, all boxed socket sets were gone. Ratchets too. Got some good screwdrivers and some deep sockets.

Bought a service body to build a service truck out of and found it had a dozen or so random snap on tools left on it. Can’t beat free!
So jealous! I contemplated skipping Thanksgiving with family to drive 10 hours to Indiana/Ohio for Meijer deals. Best deal i got was the Milwaukee power tool set at home depot for 399 and 499.
Now that's dedication for a good deal 😂. Glad you could still pick up a good deal without driving 20 hours round trip.

I’m a new tech to the field and I loaded up a bunch with the tekton tools deal. I wish I could have got those exact sets!
Found a couple of Estwing framing hammers once at Ross for under 10.00. Retail was over 80.00.
I bought the sunex 3/8 drive master set for like $150 a while back and I found a toolbox in the middle of the road a few years ago that had a $150 matco 1/4 flexhead ratchet in it and you can't beat free

Milwaukee glitch at home depot picked up 10" miter saw for $300. Thinking of adding some tekton tools to my vast collection.
I just picked up a Kobalt 229 socket set at Lowes for my daughter for $39.18 out the door price for her starter kit. Couldn't pass that deal up!
I bought like ten William's C clamps at a garage sale expecting to spend five to ten bucks a piece depending on the size. They just wanted fifteen bucks for all of it. I couldn't believe it.
A few people have mentioned garage sales to find tools. That might be next summers adventure. 😄
Garage sales. Lots of good stuff.
On the side note that beat at the end is dope 👌
Best tool deal I got was at my neighbors yard sale. Saw a little metal tool box so I opened it and there was a variety of Mac, Matco, and craftsman sockets and ratchets. Paid $4
I wish i could stumble upon these kind of deals. Every one in my area knows the value of tools.

1 of the better deals iv gotten was the 25% off your entire purchase at harbor freight so i decided to pickup a us general 56" top and bottom.
Nice score. The US general boxes are super nice. I have a 72 inch and 2 44 inch boxes.

I was at a garage sale and an older woman was selling some random Craftsman wrenches and screwdrivers. I paid like $7 for about 15 items.
Cant go wrong with Craftsman especially at that price 😄
The Meijer 50% off on the 9 piece wrench set was my best deal so far. Still looking though. Lol
