**Update 10-2023**
These are working great, I have been able to use them on a few jobs and I am very happy with them. And...I just found that they do make a few additional sizes!
Here's what I just found on Amazon Japan:
amzn.to/3RAXv8V - Tone RMA-08L Extra Long Oscillating Ratchet Wrench with 2 Sides Width: 0.3 inches (8 mm)
amzn.to/3t6yI26 - Tone RMA-13L Extra Long Oscillating Ratchet Wrench for Glasses, Width of Both Sides, 0.5 inches (13 mm)
amzn.to/3EWZ4q3 - Tone RMA-19L Extra Long Oscillating Ratchet Wrench with 2 Sides Width: 0.7 inches (19 mm)
Just a quick tool review and comparison of the TONE RMA400L - Ultra Long Ratcheting Wrench Set Extra Long Flex Head XL Wrenches that I just bought from Amazon Japan. They look and feel great compared to my Mountain, GearWrench, and Tekton Long Handle Flex Head Ratcheting Wrenches.
I am very impressed with the overall quality and feel of these wrenches and am looking forward to using them.
Thanks for watching!

I'm Japanese but I usually don't like Japanese sockets or wrenches because they skip sizes all the time and you can't find "lifetime warranty" anywhere. I love harbor freight, tekton, gearwrench with lifetime warranty!
Except vessels screw drivers. Those are amazing.
I hate missing sets
Look good. Like the 0 offset and detns. Need to offer a complete set👍
I love tools ! Not going to lie and i have the mountain ones and i don't think i have used them once .. I'm kind of stuck using the standard size ones but they're nice to have
Tone is the best Quality and reliable tools
They are only $117 now... Amazon be flexin on their prices. Up and down, up and down. Add it to cart and sit on it. Vim is about to drop a set with part number Nora 150. Check em out they are sick!! They come out in August
Be nice if they had a complete set 8 through 19
No 13mm? Complete deal breaker, the 19 I can live without but 13??
I was ready to order, however that no 13 is a crime!
@@damiencoffey2391 should be, thats just plain evil 😂
I can do without a 13 but 19 is really common on Toyota...
That's because they are Japanese Industrial Standard which is 10, 12, 14, 17, 19
@@robcottonrallying so then why no 19??
Great video 👍
Thank you for your review Dan.
I just suscribed. Your content is interesting and informative.

Thank you so much!
I SO need these wrenches in metric .
I got the Platinum/Mountain wrenches specifically to get to some tough to reach bolts on my car, but if I had to do it again I would go with these Tone wrenches instead. The fixed box end for breaking stuff loose may come in handy, but the detent teeth for the flex head has gotta be better than a free-flexing head. The flex heads on Platinum/Mountain wrenches, especially in smaller sizes, always come off the bolt head when you go to ratchet it. It's really a pain in the ass. And the button toggle for L vs R ratcheting getting pushed in when you push the head against something while tightening or loosening is also infuriating.
Those look pretty sweet!
They are nice. I have been using them quite a bit lately.
Take care,
-Dan
i wish they had a repair kit for the mountain wrenches. they will break
I have the Craftsman like them u got but it's missing some sizes and can't find any in 6 point to fill it in i want some like the ones u have but in 6 point and can't find them only Craftsman has them
The only thing that matters is the warranty
good review. Thanks. I'm leaning toward the Mountain brand. I did a little searching and was curious if Tone also sell a SAE set.
Only thing I would recommend is to think about warranty. If you can warranty Mountain, cool. If not, there’s a lot of other brands that are the same thing: K Tool, Icon, Carlyle, Platinum, ATD just to name a few off the top of my head. Some are pricier (obviously), but I would consider ease of warranty due to the ratcheting mechanism. Just my two cents that you didn’t ask for lol.
Love it👍🏼
🇯🇵 Made in Japan?
Taiwan, as far as I know.
Wat sizes come on the tone any skips
So thats whos making them for vim tools
Are they actually made in japan I'm pretty sure they are taiwan high quality sold as mac tools
Came here to ask this... og Japanese or rebranded?
@@121dodgers I have noticed about a price discrepancy between US german japanese ratcheting wrenches and Taiwan usually 150-300 cheaper from taiwan compare snappy to real german and japanese are about the same$
Most TONE tools are made in Taiwan, not Japan.
@@MrSubaru1387 Thank you for the info! I had heard that might be the case with TONE, but wasn't sure about these particular wrenches...
BTW, you have some great content and tool info on your channel.
Take care,

Great set, but it’s kind of incomplete

👍
Are the Mac Tools wrenches the same as Tonne wrenches?
No, but they have a similar one I believe.
$236 now
Are they 12 point or spline drive?
They are 12 point
@@DantheFixitMan Right on. Thanks for the reply.
Do they make those in SAE
Not enough for the money
