The cheap Dremel tool is junk! I made the same mistake. Yes the "free" batteries are crap but they are free. They are great in remotes where you change the battery as soon as it stops working, keeping the free flashlights going, etc. Don't put them in anything you really care about or that will sit around most of the time. Also, the chainsaw sharpening wheel is just COMPLETE JUNK! The sharpener is great but the included wheel is garbage. The replacement ones you can buy are also COMPLETE JUNK! I spend more on sharpening wheels at the farm store than you spend on the sharpener at HFT. The ones from HFT are all binding resin and no real abrasive. They just get hot, smoke, and stink! The worst part is that they don't sharpen and just ruin the temper of the chain because of all the heat.
