Ironically, just got this identical watch for my birthday earlier this month. Absolutely love it. I do not wear it every day, my work environment can be rough on crystals. But wear it every chance I get. I found it while looking at other Hamilton watches that you noted as nice for a collection of reasonably priced watches. Thank you

I've got this in black, love it! Nice presence and tasteful design. The 100m is probably low balling it, screw down caseback and crown, and a thick slug of steel for the case...it can't be less capable than an Invicta Pro Diver, with it's 200m rating. In any case a rinse under the tap is the worst mine sees.

Very nice watch for the money. Let’s face it there are only a handful of people who really need a dive watch. But I like having a timing bezel and if it gets wet in the rain it’s good to go.

My blue faced Tissot Gentleman broke today. I did not need another watch in it's exact space, as I have a Hamilton Jazzmaster as a redundancy in the "casual dress" space it occupied.
But I DID...haha...need something blue, as the Gentleman was my ONLY blue watch. After5 watching about 126752 videos, including several of Teddy's...I decided to go with the blue faced Hamilton Scuba.
Don't really need a Diver. I have several of those. But I did not need dress casual either, as I have another of those. So, I bought this watch for two reasons: 1) It is a Hamilton and 2) They sell it in blue.
I guess I am an official Hamilton fanboy now.

Bought one a few months ago at a great price while visiting Reno, NV and I absolutely love it. +5secs/day and fits perfectly with my dress uniform that’s the same color. I hated the strap, as the tine sticks in the leather, but a quick change to a black leather strap to match my duty belt and now it’s flawless style wise. Only other part I dislike is the aluminum insert because it easily scratched after a few days of use. Other than that it’s become the favorite of my collection for sure.

Love this line. Got the blue one a couple of months ago. Love it so much. Truly fun, tactile appreciation, heaviest watch in my small affordable collection. Will not need a true dive rated watch so I don’t choose watches for this rare possibility. Love your channel, Teddy. Appreciate your thoroughness and welcoming style. Keep on!

Looks good in green. Hamilton went the olive shade of the spectrum, which gives it sort of a field-diver vibe, which is solidified by the additional inner 24hr markers.

I have one and love it. The omission of the bezel pip was ridiculous and otherwise it meets ISO. And it looks like it could do 200 meters easily. Of course you would be crushed at 100 without a dive suit. Maybe it is only for warranty but I wish they would reconsider the golf and tennis warning. I think I am just going to wear it anyway and if it breaks replace it with a 2824-2 w/ 28800 BPH and go. So far H10 is holding up. Can’t hurt it too bad watching you tube on couch and doing laundry.

@@theoptimistictraveler3558 Its fine. Totally adequate although I wish it had more micro adjustments. My wrists tend to swell in hot weather and the option to let the bracelet out and bring it back in some is a godsend. You wouldn't regret wearing this watch on a bracelet. I have since changed my mind about using a nato or a rubber strap for this watch. I'm going to keep it like I bought it. 👍🏻

A nice addition to the range Teddy and looks cool with the green dial. I like the attention to the minute track sub markers aligning with the 3Hz movement inside. OK it's not a deep divers watch but I do find a dive bezel a useful for count up timing. I'm not a fan of the date on this one though but should not be a deal breaker for those who need it.

I'm not a dive watch fan by any means. My only diver is a Christopher Ward Trident Pro 600. It wears a leather strap and the only water it sees is an occasional shower here on the west coast of Washington. Nevertheless, when I found the green dial Hamilton Khaki Scuba on sale on a gray market site for less than $500, I purchased one.
I think the green dial is especially attractive. And I have several Hamiltons with the same excellent H10 movement. It keeps good time within about 5-7 seconds of a satellite reference over 24 hours. And it's easy to read at a glance. All in all, an excellent daily wear. Unfortunately, I don't find NATA straps appealing, even the high quality version that came with the watch. That weakness, though, was easily remedied with an olive green FKM rubber strap from StrapsCo. Though not an exact match, it comes very close. All in all, a bargain even at a retail price.

100m for recreational diving is more than sufficient. As long as the crown is screwed down. Realistically these days divers use dive coms to track their time more than mechanical watches. If anything, mechanical watches are more like back ups.

I have one of these but not as cruel to as David D. I think the bezel pip omission was a very cheap mistake. Because other that that I believe that it would pass every other requirement. 100 meters is the minimum. With the screw down crown and metal back I would feel better getting this wet than my Khaki automatic that is also 100 meters WR. I am wearing mine now as I type this. My only gripe is it states in my manual not to use playing golf or tennis. Just last weekend however I looked up the UK and European user manual and it does not state this in the one on line as present. I do not know if this change is present in the latest USA manual. I wear mine every night and the lume is readable till morning. It is consistent at +3 seconds a day at 306 amplitude when wound and if it sits for a day about 275. The beat error runs .03 to .05 depending on the wind. I love the watch. But I wish I could feel good about not having to baby it according to the manual. Tissot and Certina watches using a similar movement do not warn against tennis or golf. 100 meters is 330 feet deep. The water at that dept would mash most people. If they would take out that stipulation it would be my most of the time watch. And the omission of a 50 cent bezel pip was either a stupid mistake or just on purpose. Omega in the Swatch family says it is OK to play sports with. When I play golf I dress well and would love to use my newest sharp watch. Instead I wear a Citizen eco drive or a 60 year old Hamilton automatic with a Certina movement.

Nah, one of Hamilton’s weaker designs. I also have a bit of a problem with “dive like” watches in general. Either make it a proper diver or don’t at all. But that’s just me. The lack of a bezel lume pip is an immediate giveaway. While the lack of a dial color matched date disc/window also bugs me. It would of been better still, without that date wart altogether!

Getting very tired of the green watch craze. It's way overdone, and like other crazes, people are going to end up with a fugly product that they won't be able to get rid of.
I suppose that some folks need a green watch to match their teeth, but even then the color choice is questionable.
