Do you perhaps have any practitioner recommendations in The Netherlands, or at least nearby in Europe?

I also use water enemas for constipation and for the health benefits. I found that holding an enema for some time acts as a form of Kegel exercises.

How can I find a specialist in pelvic floor care who knows this information you are talking about in Michigan? I have really bad pain in my right pelvic area that goes down the front of my leg and through to my butt. I’ve had a hysterectomy, pelvic ultrasound and X-rays…long story short my gynecologist thinks it’s pelvic floor spasms and referred me to a PFPT but I cannot stand the thought of someone touching me in these areas let alone internal massage. Please help.

My pelvic floor is WAY too tight. My PFPT told me it’s locked in spasm. It’s getting better, but it hurts to sit down. What do you recommend to have it become less hypertonic?

What you are doing is a great idea. Incorporating breathing in the treatment is very important. Can’t emphasize enough. I also suggest checking to make sure you don’t have any neurological issues contributing- doesn’t have to but is good to tule out- go to my RUclips channel under irvine Spine and wellness center and start doing the functional movement playlist exercises. See if you can find a practitioner that focuses on DNS. That will take you to the next level. Have you watched my video called what is pelvic floor dysfunction? That will explain what else is there that needs addressing.
