Welcome! I'm so glad you found my channel! That is exactly why I wanted to make this video! Hopefully you can use it to make an informed decision to see if you want to dive into sublimation or not :)
Thanks so much! Have you noticed if this bleaches the shirt on such high heat? We heat press our tags on our shirts (triblend or poly/cotton) and we have to get special low temp ink transfers to avoid leaving a "heat mark".
I have never had any issues with heat marks, but that may be something for the triblend shirts? It shouldn’t be an issue for poly/cotton blends though.
You can also use dark color blanks with sublimation if you’re comfortable using bleach as a extra step (I have had lots of success with orical 651 as custom stencils for bleach)
Yes! I am going to talk about bleach later, I just wanted to keep things straight forward since when you're new to something too much information can be confusing! But that is definitely a viable option!
Hi Alex, I am brand new to sublimation and came across your series after seeing the canva tutorial. As I was listening to this video (I haven't done my first project yet, but will be), I heard you mention about not to use white because there is no white ink. Can you please explain more about this since your canva tutorial you did, the design had a white font. Just thinking of how to work with/around this with my design work. Thanks.
My problem is how can I print and cut large image? I git a silhouette cameo 4 pro I am new on Cameo, Y bought because I tought I can prin and cut big image but not.
Hi Liz! Sublimation is a totally different process than print then cut on a cutting machine. I am not a Silhouette user so I can't offer any advice for this. Sorry!
Great comparison! Thank you for sharing!
I have seen many videos trying to figuring out what is more convenient for me, this information is really helpful. Thank you for sharing.

Once again, thank you for the information. Great teaching style and I appreciated the objectivity.
You're welcome! I use this format in every comparison video I've done and everyone seems to love it!

Thank you for this video. Can you share the comparison of how both hold up after washes? Which fades less?
Neither of them fade if they are done correctly and well taken care of!
Thank you as always !!!
You're so welcome!
Thank You great tips

Yes! So the white font worked because there is color all the way around it, so it will still show up. But yes, you can’t print the color white. ☺️
Can sublimation printer be used for vynil printing as well?
No it can’t

I see that you have used sublimation, HTV and screen printing on tshirts. Which process do you like best. Which ones hold up to washing.
They all work great! I do all 3 methods depending on the look I’m going for. There’s no good or bad, it’s just what each person prefers.
Just watched all your beginers sublimation first 4 videos there grewat ae there anymore or did I miss something?
There are only 4 so far, but the next episode is coming in March!
So are you saying you prefer sublimation? @DIY Alex
No, I still use both depending on the situation.
You look so much like sabrina the teenage witch😮
Thank you!! ☺️
