You are so thorough in your explanations and demonstrations! I love it as I am a detail person, and also like to understand the 'why' of what's happening. I also appreciate that you experiment and share the results with us. I was wondering about doing DTF on colored fabric also. Thank you!!
Just got my Epson tank printer early Christmas present from husband he been so great helping me, I am Blessed, can't wait to try it but waiting on the ink and cloves to come, paper came today! Just hope I will be able to do the Sublimtions ok! Have learned a lot from you Jennifer thank you so much!!! Hugus Liz x
I have been dying to make our installers at work personalized tee shirts and I’m hoping the tutorial will help me decide which is best and motivate me to get started!!!!! 💜
How awesome. I love the print and cut one. The cricut infusible ink is so cool. Not yet doing sublimation but cool how you showed every type. Thank you!😅
Thanks for talking about so many different methods. I purchased some 100% acrylic hats that have a woven appearance. Unfortunately that means the 100% sublimation ink is difficult to use on them especially on the seam. So looks like I'll be trying some print and cut / printable vinyl next.
Hi Jennifer! Thank you for this great video! I was wondering if you find that sublimating on HTV lasts longer in the wash then the ink jet print then cut HTV - specifically the ink fading (not peeling and cracking). Thanks so much :)
What is the best way to get plain white lettering onto a black t-shirt??? I bought "soft flex" white HTV, which I heard is very soft and lasts a long time. I need to make them for our church's worship team - at the request of our pastor - and I want to get it right. We just bought a new multifunction heat press and a new EcoTank sublimation printer. I was also looking for the infusible ink transfer sheets in white to see if that will work, but I haven't found any in white. Thanks! Very much enjoying your videos!!!
Thanks for sharing Because the problem I was having, sometimes the vinyl will come off or peel off after a couple of washes Question will go gone get vinyl of t shirts
would love to see the bleach front technique for sublimation...seen some done with black shirts and one done with grey they bleached on front and then sublimated on thought they looked great would love to see your take on doing this...if I did it would probably end up with bleach splotches everwhere.
I have a business and am looking to purchase something to make my own shirts. We usually do 2-3 designs a year on light colored Heathered Gilden style shirts. I’ve narrowed it down to sublimation or ink press. Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated. The shirts we get now are “Ink press”. I have a heat press but have never cut vinyl or worked a program.
Hi. First, thank you so much for this gift! 😊 I really want to try the DTV process but I have the Epson F170 sublimation printer which only uses epson paper. It was one of the printers you reviewed. Because you have that printer too would you know if it is safe to use the DTV film or could it jam the printer? I called epson but they don’t know.
Also, sublimation cannot be used in dark / black tshirts right? :/ i truly dont know which one to buy to start stamping tote bags and shirts because i wanted the products to be black with my illustrations on it You explain so well ♥
There is a method for dark shirt and cotton. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-on-cotton/. You can always do print then cut or iron-on vinyl. jennifermaker.com/how-to-use-printable-vinyl-with-cricut/
Hey Jennifer So for someone that wants to start a small business do you suggest dtf, sublimation and infusible ink best on tshirts? And for tote bags do you recommend the same to last? Especially if your going to be selling them to last long. Thanks :)
There are many factors that play into this answer such as budget, personal preference, region, etc. You are welcome to search and/or ask in my FB Groups, facebook.com/groups/cricutcraftersandmakers/ facebook.com/groups/sublimationmadeeasy
If you are not using a sublimation printer with sublimation ink, there are many wonderful and affordable inkjet printers out there to create print then cut images for shirts and for stickers too! 💗
As long as it has a high polyester content. Here are some other tutorials. jennifermaker.com/best-shirts-for-sublimation/. jennifermaker.com/sublimate-dark-shirts/. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-clear-htv/

Infusible Ink needs to be on a high polyester count and a light color shirt. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-on-cotton/
@@JenniferMaker Okay. I'll do the soft-flex (or whatever it's called LOL) white HTV on the black shirts. Thanks!
This is so pretty.
I enjoyed today, I can't wait for this afternoon. Thank you so much for sharing!

I love sublimation for the most professional looking results🥰
Love the design “Always choose joy “. Is that available for us to use?
Yes of course!
@@JenniferMaker thank you. I should have asked for the project number. I couldn’t find it in the library

It should work with the Epson.
Love this!
So cute love them 😍
Which one do you think would work best on athletic wear material??
It depends on the fabric and the color. Sports flex is good for athletic stretchy wear.
@@JenniferMaker Thanks!
Wow, I didn't know you needed polyester for infusible ink.

I had the worse experience with htv ront , the first use put it on a Tshirt it peeled and had little cracks on the edge of the print
Is there a fabric paint that is durable and washable?
New year shirts 🎉
Sublimation Chrristmas T-Shirt
I
like this one
Is sublimination and htv the same?
No they are not. Sublimation ink fuses with the fibers where as HTV is "glued" on top of them.🥰
Love it
Can you DTF with a sublimation printer?
Which do you recommend as being the most durable and ideal for memory foam covered in velvet? Like a memory foam rug?
Are you wanting to sublimate on a memory foam rug?🥰
Yes I can hear you
Thanks!
congratulations
Are you able to use the DTF Sheets with Transfer Vinyl as well?
DTF can be applied onto the same fabric merchandise as the heat transfer vinyl.
Which heat transfer paper do you recommend when using cotton or poly/cotton blend tshirts
You can find the links to the ones I like below the video and in the tutorial🥰
I like to paint my tees, could the infusible pens be used as a type of outline that could then be painted?
Yes! That's a great idea!
fingers crossed for printer
What printer is recommended for htv vs sublimation? And can it be used for both making shirts and stickers?
If you are not using a sublimation printer with sublimation ink, there are many wonderful and affordable inkjet printers out there to create print then cut images for shirts and for stickers too! 💗

Yes please show us
I want to make this for my S.I.L.
Hello!
Which is the best option if you want to print white on dark colour shirts?
I would recommend using vinyl in that case💗

hello from Okanagan bc
Do you have to use 12x12 cardstock? Seems like such a waste.
You can use whatever fits to the size.
Will the sublimation work on a 50/50 shirt?
It will have more of a faded look to it.
Can i use sublimation ink on printable sister vinyl???
Yes, you can use it on EasySubli.
Has anyone been able to use the DTF hack with an Epson 2760?
Nite shirt
Something is wrong with the playback. What I am hearing is not what’s happening.
