The level of cinematography which goes into your videos is fantastic, the choices of shot and camera angle bely the fact you are alone, it looks as if you are being followed by a film crew and knowing that each shot means setting up and retracing your steps, time and time again in such weather, your commitment to producing high quality content is fantastic. Excellent, very well done indeed.

+prottentogo Being from the same town as Erik I know how those winds feels like. Actually I think the skiing part isn't that bad, when you move you stay warm. It's the part we don't get to see, setting up the camera and mic that is the hard part. I'm guessing the hands has to be exposed to the wind at that time and that is no fun at all. I know from trying to film myself cycling at those temperatures. Freezing cold.

The video is great. There needs to be some sort of warning to folks who are not wilderness savvy. Each year there are hundreds of people who are victims of the weather or other elements (bears). In Minnesota where I grew up as a child, we were well aware of danger. The best way to learn about wilderness events is to find someone who is familiar with the surrounding area. May the Lord bring you safe passage!

In extreme weather, the brothers walked alone, it was extraordinary, and I saw that it was very scary and challenging adrenaline

I can't believe I'm just watching this for the first time. Without a doubt, the best winter camping video I've seen. I've made a few videos of my own winter camping adventures, and from this video I know I've got a lot to learn. I can really appreciate the effort it takes to capture content of this quality. Thanks Erik for your hard work and dedication to this amazing work. Happily subscribed.

Appreciate all the set up and camera work you do to bring us these vids. Thank you! I'm particularly impressed by the devotion of your pet Raven... You've trained him well to even follow you into white out :-)

Your videos are so wonderful. The video quality is amazing and the audio is incredible. I think you could do a feature length film and it would be brilliant. This opening shot reminds me of Werner Herzog. You should definitely have a goal of making a feature length film! Make it happen!
