- Hiking alone with tent (Hlleberg Allak) into the great wild of Rapadalen, Sarek National Park, Sweden. Last week of April and lot of snow still, spring is in its way.

Well done Eric. Me also. I just turned 70 and have bought a new lightweight backpack 3 season tent.
I am not camping in Winter not good for arthritis.
I am in Tasmania and like to hike to a lake or stream and set up camp and fish for 2 or 3 days.With my Border Collie.
We have a good supply of fish in our natural waterways. I usually supplement my potatoes and pasta with fresh grilled trout or salmon.
How about the majestic scenery in Sweden .?

Me too. My kids don’t understand my non enthusiasm for tv & movies. Being there and done it. These fulfill me. I travel around the world and learn about many cultures w/o leaving my home. And it’s as if I’m there. Stay safe.

Wowww this is instantly one of my favourite Erik films...I feel the misty damp chill, the pleasure of a dry bed and hot drink, the shelter from wind and snow. At 6:30 and the seconds after it - I did not notice the music until the second time I watched the movie. Your choice of music for that wide open mountain vista was SO perfect I unconsciously felt it was "the sound" of that scenery, I did not notice it was MUSIC. Beautiful and solitude camping if there ever was any. Here during the voluntary home confinement due to the virus and I can mentally go snow skiing and snow camping , something I have never done during my life time. Plus preparing a meal with a stove I'm very familiar with. Trangia is definitely a universal cooking set ( mine is the 27 ) . Your meals in Sweden and mine in the Everglades of Florida and the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia , USA Two different parts of the world and different camping styles. .
