Another big thing I notice with Bertram videos is the noise..specifically the lack of annoying noise that modern materials make. No loud plastic tarp crinkle, no noisy nylon or plastic stuff..no irritating (to me anyway) artificial material tools with obnoxious colors etc..no store bought silverware..this is the best.

Untill you need to gather enough food and resources to survive winter with your family, then so would others, then they would attack each other at some point. We were here as a specids and it was really bad. Not to say its not nice to go back to this. Just saying, living a life like this isn't eazy nor romantic as depicted here.

I have a 5 year old son and I finally feel like he's ready to go camping with me and he's so excited about it. Anyway, last night I opened up one of your videos when we got into bed and my son just fell in love with it! He watched with the same intensity as he watches any of his other shows and was completely engaged! Today he asked me to put on another of your videos and told me that's your videos are his new favorite "show". Keep in mind, I told my son almost 4 months ago that RUclips blew up because people were mad at them for hurting little kids' brains...but I am happy to put it back on again (in secret) for your content. I love how there’s no blaring adds or music playing. Just the sounds of living in the woods. I know a lot of people fall asleep to these videos, I certainly have. It makes great background noise.

if you guys dont know how to bushcraft basics (make a fire, build a tent, source for food, if you have bears how to hang food, etc etc) i wouldnt bother running away just yet, take your weekends out to the woods or even your backyard to learn how to survive before running away or youre going to have a very stressful time

if you guys dont know how to bushcraft basics (make a fire, build a tent, source for food, if you have bears how to hang food, etc etc) i wouldnt bother running away just yet, take your weekends out to the woods or even your backyard to learn how to survive before running away or youre going to have a very stressful time
Work hard in silence and let ur success make the noise - A perfect example of it 🙂
