This comment is for anyone laying in bed, listening to this music and currently struggling with mental health issues. I want you to know you have made it this far, despite all your falllbacks, you are here, you are alive, it won't always be this difficult and you are more powerful than you realise. I love you and keep going 💙💙💙
There is just something so very ‘right’ about what you do. This is how we are meant to live-semi-nomadic with nature not stuck in some urban jungle. We’ve definitely lost touch with the way we’re supposed to live. I think that’s why your videos are so popular-they strike a chord with something everyone is desperately missing. Thank you for your efforts.

I have watched many bushcraft videos where the more the guy talks , you realize that he shouldn't even be left alone in a state park camp ground. This man says nothing and I gather so much knowledge, not to mention the peacefulness. Thanks swede! God Bless
That was a really sunny trip this time, after the long and cold swedish winter.Your videos are extremely interesting and relaxing, love that you bring always something new to the table.Ciao!
Hi #Swedwoods. Really loved the business of the woods then that stunning visual changeup @52:37, wow! Thanks for the gear info, too as I've always liked that Trangia candle lantern. 👍🏼
I have to agree, if one can effectively communicate what you're doing or how to do it without saying a word it makes one's content easier to understand by everyone on the planet without need for translation. Plus, as you point out, the viewer can enjoy the sounds of nature and immerse ourselves as if we were there by ourselves. There aren't many RUclipsrs that do this.
Really cool tarp tent setups. The second one suits well with high winds due lower height. Food, shelters, hand-craft & handling all excellent and sustainable! Thank you, Janne/ Finland 👍👋
Nice one brother Swed, well done. I just got back from a week in the southern Rocky Mountains(northern New Mexico)fishing the mountain rivers for rainbow, brook and brown trout. I still have the smell of fresh pines and campfires lingering and I come home to this video..wonderful. Everything looked good on your end, I had no doubt of course. Weather getting warmer and catching fish, life is good. Forgotten spoon, no problem just make a new one😉 Loadout was a plus. Great video as always, content and production, thanks for the trip. See ya next time.
another brilliant one! hard to argue with sitting next to a tree for a few days....for the uninitiated non-scandinavian, the magical trick of getting sap out of a birch tree for liquid is something most kids learn growing up because we spend a fair bit of time in the wilderness and its a great source of sweet water but Swedwoods method is a level up! it should be said that his methods are maybe more a reminder that we should take the time to figure out how and what we want to do, and create our own solutions as we go..your moment of Zen..
i just saw the first frames and realized I have to take a hour and a cup of coffee to focus on watching this whole thing without interruptions on a big screen...swedish zen for ya
Great Camping Adventure !! Beautiful Location. Everything Is Amazing So Comforting , Peaceful, Relaxing To Watch. You Are Seriously A Very Creative Man. Blessings My Friend From California.
When last out on an overnight camp, I slept under the stars, on a OneTigris cot using a -30 winter sleeping bag. At 6 AM I woke to a cold morning and was glad for the winter bag. Otherwise, I had the best night's sleep in a while. I love doing that kind of camping. Just take what I can carry in my pack. I usually carry a 3 x 3m DD tarp but not this time. With the way you camp in your videos I think we are of the same mind. In winter I use canvas tarps, and tents here in Canada. Thank you for your videos.
Dude, I've nicked so many ideas from you. Using the alpine kettle as a dual purpose water boiler + saucepan, the vegetable steamer as a fire rest, to name but two. Love your stuff. Please don't stop 😌
No one else can underSTAND a life without living to be alive as your lovely recordings to be so real and calm without any unnecessary mıments to be tight in the nature. Greetings and thanks a lot 🎉❤
I like the serious woodsman knowledge you add to your video work such as the knife to draw liquid from a tree and others that are not frequently shown. Wonderful video, skills and scenery.
This was so relaxing and heartwarming. The sound of rain and your sound made my day. Everything look so aesthetic. II really loved it, and would love to go on solo camping like this
Wonderful video! Such beautiful old trees where you camped. Totally awestruck by the beauty of that forest. Just when I think you have outdone yourself, you come up with yet another masterpiece. Thanks for making my day brighter. Your backpack seemed bottomless! 😃😃
A lot of great tips in this one, Swedwood! I like how you started the coals back up w/your ferro rod... Didn't know it was so dry there already! Your new pack - it's _really_ nice! Amazing how much you can put in there. Thanks for showing everything; awesome vid! 👍👍👍
Another fabulous video, good to see what you carry, although I knew there would be no junk. Views of the forest with the sunlight between the trees are beautiful.👍
I’m so glad you did a great gear breakdown and told us the brand and model! I always overpack out of fearing I will need something, then my pack is always too heavy. Now seeing what you carry and you are able to do redefines what I need to carry! Thank you
I always make a kit list for every trip, then tick off all the stuff you actually used once you get home, after a while you will find the same things never gets used & I find it helps making the decision to leave it out of your pack the next time? Just my way.
Thanks for the load out. Your fire bowl, I always thought was a vegetable steamer that you stole from your wife's kitchen when she was not looking😂My wife had one that look just like that. Thanks for the video.
