Hiking with the old trusted Z65. Great how that bag just swallows gear. Hiked to a lake where I've had the canoe for a few months. Great to be out in the green pickle again and the fish are back!
Forgot an important piece of gear and had to do some greenwood carving. A steak and some nice stew in the woods can never go wrong. Did a kind of forester tarp setup at second camp and got an interesting very spacious tweak out of it.
People ask a lot about my gear.. and I'm sorry to say I'm uninterested in brands, weight, measurements and all that.. half the time I don't even know the name of the gear I use etc, so I'm too lazy putting out info for you guys. But this time I googled for a good while and did a full LOADOUT in the video! Only thing I couldn't find was my stainless steel pot with fry pan lid. I think it's some kind of cheap brand from Jula. But not sure. So enjoy and thanks for watching!
Full loadout in the video so please don't ask about the gear!
Don't be concerned about Swedwoods silence. He's just enjoying Summer with the Family. ENJOY!
I have been wondering where he's been, good to know all is ok.
I do miss the sat morning videos but priorities are priorities good on him

This comment is for anyone laying in bed, listening to this music and currently struggling with mental health issues. I want you to know you have made it this far, despite all your falllbacks, you are here, you are alive, it won't always be this difficult and you are more powerful than you realise. I love you and keep going 💙💙💙
❤ Thanks, live long and prosper, kind stranger.
Thanks I needed this tonight❤
Uncanny. What an incredibly fortuitous discovery. Thank you!
Thank you 🫡
Where have you been? We miss you and worry .Sure hope all is well with you and your family! You are the best ! Take care,
disappearing into the woods after "Leave no trace" was the most boss move ever, sir😎
You made my day. Having a bad mood I noticed your new film. Now everything is ok again. Thanks Swedwoods.
Thanks!
Yeah he's one of my favorite outdoorsmen on RUclips.
Awesome video and gear dump.
This is what i love watching,no talking,complete silent,just do it😊

Привет.
Благодарю -за Целый час счастья !
👍
Thanks!
There is just something so very ‘right’ about what you do.
This is how we are meant to live-semi-nomadic with nature not stuck in some urban jungle.
We’ve definitely lost touch with the way we’re supposed to live. I think that’s why your videos are so popular-they strike a chord with something everyone is desperately missing.
Thank you for your efforts.
Thanks!
@@Swedwoods Excellent video, only the sounds of nature is thee absolute best way to go, well done my friend!👍🏽
Well said sir! I couldn’t agree more!
Your opinion. It's not for everyone. I'd die without climate control. Outdoorsiness is a niche.
Totally agree with you!
i just saw the first frames and realized I have to take a hour and a cup of coffee to focus on watching this whole thing without interruptions on a big screen...swedish zen for ya
Thanks!
My friend, you are a person like no other. You have a comfort, happiness, a heartbreak when I watch you. Never stop. May God protect you ⚘️❤️
Thanks!
Ive never pressed PLAY as fast in my life. What you give us is your knowledge as well as a very good watch. Thankyou for doing this my friend.
Thanks!!
This is also a video that is full of ideas and know-how that we should review to prepare for the new camping season.
Thanks!
It is good to remember how economical and useful a small fire is when backpacking.
So, so true!

Hi #Swedwoods. Really loved the business of the woods then that stunning visual changeup @52:37, wow! Thanks for the gear info, too as I've always liked that Trangia candle lantern. 👍🏼
Thank you my friend! Yes that was my favorite shot also.🙂

I agree with the comment from " Dyaa Majed " Indeed your friend is a very comfortable and happy person in the forest ! Greetings from Moch Rifai ...😊
That was a really sunny trip this time, after the long and cold swedish winter.Your videos are extremely interesting and relaxing, love that you bring always something new to the table.Ciao!

Hi Stranger,
It's 1 in the morning right now and I am thinking about how amazing it is that we can all share a moment here while you are reading this comment. Hello to the people reading this months or years later. I hope you all live a happy life and get through whatever you are going through. Life can be amazing if we choose to be kind and considerate for other human beings. You are all loved and I am proud to have this moment with you ❤
😂 A veggie steamer fire bowl. I love it.
👈😋👌Welcome😊🙏🌺
1 hour of awesomeness from the best, Keep up the great work neighbor 👌
Thank you!
One of your best so far. Love you showcasing the versatility of simplicity!
Thank you very much!
another brilliant one! hard to argue with sitting next to a tree for a few days....for the uninitiated non-scandinavian, the magical trick of getting sap out of a birch tree for liquid is something most kids learn growing up because we spend a fair bit of time in the wilderness and its a great source of sweet water but Swedwoods method is a level up! it should be said that his methods are maybe more a reminder that we should take the time to figure out how and what we want to do, and create our own solutions as we go..your moment of Zen..
Thanks!
Thanks for the load out. Your fire bowl, I always thought was a vegetable steamer that you stole from your wife's kitchen when she was not looking😂My wife had one that look just like that. Thanks for the video.
It was lol. This is a new one built for the task.
@Swedwoods I saw you use this creative idea awhile ago and went to my local second hand store and purchased a couple of on the cheap cheap and actually went out to try that in my local woods , impressive my friend , leave no trace ..
Hi Swedwoods, a great video again! Very interesting loadout with very nice gear. Thank you for showing and as always all the best from Austria 🇦🇹🤠🏕🔥👍
Thanks!
You are always the best in camping, whether in winter or spring
Thanks!
In my humble opinion the best Bushcrafter on RUclips (that I know of) No chatter just the sounds of nature as if one was there alone.
Thank you!!
I have to agree, if one can effectively communicate what you're doing or how to do it without saying a word it makes one's content easier to understand by everyone on the planet without need for translation. Plus, as you point out, the viewer can enjoy the sounds of nature and immerse ourselves as if we were there by ourselves. There aren't many RUclipsrs that do this.
Great trip. Appreciate the gear display. 😀
Thanks!
Thank you one more time for sharing your trip and your acknowledgment about woods. Yes, your backpack is amazing. Congratulations my friend.
Thanks!
Nice one brother Swed, well done. I just got back from a week in the southern Rocky Mountains(northern New Mexico)fishing the mountain rivers for rainbow, brook and brown trout. I still have the smell of fresh pines and campfires lingering and I come home to this video..wonderful. Everything looked good on your end, I had no doubt of course. Weather getting warmer and catching fish, life is good. Forgotten spoon, no problem just make a new one😉 Loadout was a plus. Great video as always, content and production, thanks for the trip. See ya next time.
Thanks bro!
Один из лучших каналов про поход и отдых🙂👍
Thanks!
Thanks for showing some tricks of the trade, bushcrafting that is. Plus another good story.
Thanks!
Great video, as always! Very informative!
Thanks!
Zen in the woods. Respect from Hungary!
Thank you for sharing the information about your hiking items.
Thanks for watching!
Sewing seems to be an under appreciated skill , thanks for adding !
It's nice to see Czech ešus in Sweden. Thank you ✌️
Dude, I've nicked so many ideas from you. Using the alpine kettle as a dual purpose water boiler + saucepan, the vegetable steamer as a fire rest, to name but two. Love your stuff. Please don't stop 😌
Really cool tarp tent setups. The second one suits well with high winds due lower height. Food, shelters, hand-craft & handling all excellent and sustainable! Thank you, Janne/ Finland 👍👋
A pro backpacker.. great gear breakdown.. great tarp setup..great fishing.. lots of innovative ideas too 👍🏕
Thanks!
What a Great Life we have here in Sweden* Enjoy!
man your videos are a highlight to my night on release thanks again for another uplifting night "Right I have my beer and my munchies lets begin.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy it.
@@Swedwoods I always do my friend your videos are part of my comfort zone among others i might add.
Great Camping Adventure !! Beautiful Location. Everything Is Amazing So Comforting , Peaceful, Relaxing To Watch. You Are Seriously A Very Creative Man. Blessings My Friend From California.

Another hugely enjoyable and informative trip. I liked that new tarp set-ups and the great meals. Thanks again.
Thanks!
Wonderful video! Such beautiful old trees where you camped. Totally awestruck by the beauty of that forest. Just when I think you have outdone yourself, you come up with yet another masterpiece. Thanks for making my day brighter. Your backpack seemed bottomless! 😃😃
Thanks!
ruclips.net/video/Q4seETSq7FA/видео.html
Another fabulous video, good to see what you carry, although I knew there would be no junk. Views of the forest with the sunlight between the trees are beautiful.👍
Thanks!
Loved it. Thank you for sharing. Yes that pack seems bottomless.
Thanks!
I was very impressed with the visuals and sound
Thanks!
So enjoyable to watch, thank you.
THANK YOU for proposing us to watch this film! to listen to the music of the wind in the trees, or of the fish out of the lake or the sizzling of the saussage on the fire or, walking on the springing cushion of the moss.....or, or just all of what is done in silence within the silence of nature. it is frustrating to have to let you go and come back to.......the concrete of the city! thank you, again, for this courteous invitation. SEE YOU SOON.
Your videos never fail to impress me, you are so lucky to have so much access to nature atb Taff 🤠👊
Thanks!
Top Notch as usual, Sweddy - I always enjoy your content it's very calming 👍
Thanks!
Always a great watch, thanks for making the effort, it is much appreciated!
Thanks!
No one else can underSTAND a life without living to be alive as your lovely recordings to be so real and calm without any unnecessary mıments to be tight in the nature. Greetings and thanks a lot 🎉❤
Here’s a bit of a tip. If you dab superglue over the stitch, it’s stops the thread fraying. It works well for stitching on backpacks as well, practically anything really.
It is good to carry a thing of super glue....duct tape too.
I love your videos as they bring me peace ✌️
Thank you!
Thanks , Thanks , Thanks , Thank you for this... the spoon making , the showing of knots and most importantly please 🙏 for future outdoorsy types " LEAVE NO TRACE " ..
How did my friend sew. Work well. I follow you always. More excellence
Thanks!
what a great idea with the water bottle
I like the serious woodsman knowledge you add to your video work such as the knife to draw liquid from a tree and others that are not frequently shown. Wonderful video, skills and scenery.
Thank you!
🎉
Hello everyone, I am a new viewer, and I am very happy to join this channel.
Thank you!
@@Swedwoods
When last out on an overnight camp, I slept under the stars, on a OneTigris cot using a -30 winter sleeping bag. At 6 AM I woke to a cold morning and was glad for the winter bag. Otherwise, I had the best night's sleep in a while. I love doing that kind of camping. Just take what I can carry in my pack. I usually carry a 3 x 3m DD tarp but not this time. With the way you camp in your videos I think we are of the same mind. In winter I use canvas tarps, and tents here in Canada. Thank you for your videos.
Always good 👍🏴
Thanks!
Great video..... Best part is no talking no music..... Just atmosphere 👌
Thanks!
Good video
Sweeds:
I especially liked the part where You tried to start a fire with a stick and bowl !
Well, that didn't work 😅
No one is perfect!
Ok, have a good day.
See you in the next vid.
Mike.
🇨🇦
I first thought that, also.
But I believe he used that technique to smooth the “bowl” area in his wooden spoon.
Lol.. I think he is joking Mark!
@@Swedwoods
If you ever decide to offer merch Swed, you should handcraft a bunch of these spoons & maybe forks to sell out here.
I'd buy one if American $ were accepted.
@@Swedwoods Ok, I understand now. Haha 😂
Similar to your “Yankee” comment or but a little nicer. Lol
Thank you. Beautiful way to end my day. 👍
Thanks!
👈😋👌Welcome gowan😊🙏
Again a very nice video. From watching your videos all these years I have a good idea about the beautiful landscape of Sweden. Thank you. It's only a two hour flight from the Netherlands to Sweden (€165), maybe I should go more often, and now not just to Stockholm.
Thanks!
Nice to see someone else use the sharpening stone scabbard as a strop, thought I was the only one. I even use compound on it sometimes when I'm feeling especially picky about the edge.😅
Thanks!
Used the leather pouch of my diamond stones for years as a strop, being a Carpenter/Joiner previously furniture maker it’s a great way to finish chisels marking knives and plane blades when on site. At home I keep a proper leather board strop with paste when I want to give my knives that extra special finish.
Thanks for the beautiful video my friend! 👌👏
Thanks for watching!
Bonjour toujours un plaisir de regarder tes vidéos et de m échapper un peu merci
Thanks!
Hi and thank you once again for your time and effort, allowing me to have an hour's worth of REAL entertainment. I just want you to know that it is very much appreciated.
Can you please let me know where you got your fire bowl/ steamer from. I have looked everywhere for one like that. The standard steamer has so many holes they burn to hot. I have tried lining mine with aluminium foil, it makes it better but if you fold it up just once the foil is no good. I loved how you closed it up and if made enough charcoal to enable you to boil a kettle in the morning. Absolutely brilliant. I have tried many dedicated fire blows etc but always come back to a steamer. It's a shame nobody make one out of titanium. Please let me know as I remember a comment you made a couple of weeks ago when someone said that you needed a new one.
Many thanks once again
John Stott
Thanks! Only found on surpluss and that do you no good because not available online.
Excellent video brother. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you!
I appreciate how you very your shelter set up, as well as well as the other many variations in your skills and techniques.
Many thanks to you from Wyoming USA, friend!
Awesome video!
Thanks!
That trick with the coals and ferro rod was slick 😮 15:10
A lot of great tips in this one, Swedwood! I like how you started the coals back up w/your ferro rod... Didn't know it was so dry there already! Your new pack - it's _really_ nice! Amazing how much you can put in there. Thanks for showing everything; awesome vid! 👍👍👍
Thanks my friend!
Your supper looks delicious. Nothing better than the taste of camp cooking. I'm always super hungry being outside and working to get my site going. Sitting back with some bourbon cooking a fine supper makes me feel like a king.
Most of this stuff you can hide in your house and not use. You can need only:
Garmin 64 St, Lumonite Compass R, Cordage, Bahco saw, gloves, water bottle, first aid-kit, Fallkniveed CC4, Mora classic (on a belt), Mora Garberg (on a belt), Triangle lantern no 83, enamel mug, spoon, ferro rod (in the pants), sewing thread, Bic lighter (in the pants), toothbrush, rain cover backpack (as a pillow if needed)/ food bag: oil, mix 3 spices in one jar, coffee, lard/ MFH fire bowl, stainless steel: frying-pan and pot, little stove, Polish Lavvu poncho size 3, Jack Wolfskin floor saver, sleeping bag. (HH Hoodie on you, also the hat)
Love the channel! I have been recovering from an auto accident involving an elk! This has severely hampered my outdoor activity for the past several months. Channels such yours have helped me stay motivated! Many thanks and best wishes from Oklahoma!
Well I posted some questions, and you answered them all at the end😆. Many thanks. Oh, I think the forest your in is probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
Thank you for spending an hour with us, as always, a nice journey you took us on. And thanks for sharing the contents of your backpack, interesting to see what you feel is necessary for a few days in the forest.
Thanks!
👈😋👌Welcome Seaman new vidéo easy Amazing wings😊
спасибо за прекрасный фильм🤗👍
I’m so glad you did a great gear breakdown and told us the brand and model! I always overpack out of fearing I will need something, then my pack is always too heavy.
Now seeing what you carry and you are able to do redefines what I need to carry! Thank you
I always make a kit list for every trip, then tick off all the stuff you actually used once you get home, after a while you will find the same things never gets used & I find it helps making the decision to leave it out of your pack the next time?
Just my way.
@@moorshound3243 great idea! Thank you for sharing

Sorry I was out of town when this video hit, never commented. Glad the fish are back! Hope your summer is going splendidly! Look forward to your return to travels. Absolutely want you to have a fun with family, just want you to know you are missed.
Thanks brother. New video on saturday.
Amazing what went into and what came out of that Z65. The Stainless Steel cookset 'could be' Helikon Tex. I have one and they look similar only mine is shining new - unused, but mine is 2 pots and a frying pan. I thought we were in for a PIKE Supper, but you let the guy go. Good test on the Moss - I wasn't expecting it to burn like that. Next trip will see the Mossies back in swarms no doubt.
Nice Shelter! Man some big od blew done there. Thanks for the video,
Dzięki za film, jak zwykle ciekawy materiał, pozdrawiam.
Thank you!
Love the detail you shot, as usual. I love watching it till the end. Keep the good work and warm greeting from Indonesia 🔥🔥🔥🥰🥰
