The work you put into these videos does not go unnoticed. They really are superbly filmed. Thank you Erik
I think the best part is it really brings the tranquility of the environment he is in to the viewer. They are very calming videos.
I think he put multiple mic around
@@inderjeetsingh7458 He's also a seasoned sounscape recorder before he was a videographer, as such, he has a very large library of sounds he can use to add ambience to the video's...
No bullshit, just pure you and nature. Respect man!
I never thought i could relax by watching someone else relax. But here we are....
What I love the most regards your videos, is the fact that you don't saturate them with needless talking to the camera or narration.

I think the same.
This can be attributed to the difference between the American ethos/vibe, and the European/Scandinavian ethos/vibe... North Americans feel the need to fill any silence with the sound of their own voice, whereas the latter are raised to appreciate the silences..
Me too. This quiet is just such a nice change.
Vast...desolate...isolated, yet alive, beautiful and satisfying. Very nicely done. You are the master of your surroundings.
I love watching your videos before I go sleep
So relaxing and nature sounds 👍🏾 great
I do too…so quite, so white, so amazing…love it!👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
ASMR right there.
Polar London lol absolutely love the sounds
Me too at 5am before sleep
Me too. It is very calming.
The peace of this is what I needed tonight Erik. That last look of yours before you left. Can tell your soul loves the wild.
Your videos are amazing. If I were not so old an sick, I would pack my tent and other things and start camping again. Now I only live in memories when I'm watching you making coffee with stove.
One bonus in this particular video: we see you using the tent. So often we only see you set it up, fade to black, fade up and you're packing up! Here we see you living in your shelter. It's good.
Lots of birds and animals. Thanks for the labels. They are so visible in the winter. The skiing looks so pleasant compared to hiking. No mosquitos.
Thanks Philip. Yes much life is returning to the mountains now, a great time to be out. Mosquitos a little later though, lol :)
Seems I'm not the only person who finds watching this video inspirational.
Very well done.
From Australia.

Same here! I'm up in Qld so you can imagine how much snow we get hahaha. I'd love it if we copped a huge snowstorm up here. I've got my gear ready to go!!!
@@Spacegoat92 SE QLD and NE NSW could do with snow or even just precipitation currently. Terrible early fires for our country. The drought up there is diabolical. I'm in Victoria so our time will come.
@@l214laus Yeah I know what you mean. My front yard is practically dead. I hope we get rain soon or our neighbourhood will look like Iraq!
In all serial-ness: aside from maybe the $5000 worth of gear, I give Erik credit for actually knowing his "stuff." Erik seems an unparallelled expert at this. I am subscribed.
I love how silent these videos are. With the trend of constant talking to camera audiences prevailing amongst RUclips hikers and outdoor enthusiasts this truly is a breath of fresh air.
Thank you Erik, for yet another superb portrayal of nature, solitude and silence .
Erik, thank you for this video. That terrain looks so beautiful but challenging at the same time. My wife thinks I'm nuts because as soon as I pour my coffee I say "morning coffee, a holy moment" Thank you for allowing us to share your journeys.
erik you are one of the top 50 swedes in my list of top 50 swedes. Congratulations .
Erik, thank you for sharing these peaceful and artfully crafted experiences for all of us to enjoy. I can't tell you how many times I find one of your videos right before I head off to sleep and find myself completely immersed in them. Your videos have a way of calming any anxiety I may be experiencing and I'm grateful that you spend the time to capture all the wonderful sounds and sights in these productions. If you're ever in the Seattle area, let me know and I'd love to have you join me and my friends as we often head up into the Olympic mountains (both summer and winter). Cheers and hope you're healthy sir.
Clear sky, sharp air, no talk, calm sounds. All make me love your clips.
Thanks!!

Once again an altogether beautiful true wilderness narrative from the pure white winter mountains, with the tranquility of falling snowflakes, the sound of winds, skies and to see the cutest small animals surviving the harsh conditions of winter cold and snowy landscapes! Big THANK to you dear Erik for giving us your many subscribers a unique view from your outings and hiking in very early spring season! Wishing you a blessed spring season!
° PS. Just a short note; maybe your breakfast-bread would taste even better, if you could, kind of warm up the cold rolled-bran-bread on your frying pan, and then put on the soft cheese, or else, in order to then enjoy the taste of mimicking a fresh bread right from the bakers oven, together later with your unique "snow-coffee" and feeling the warm, very first and special taste and waking-up-scent from, your newly cooked morning coffee? ° PS 2 - By the way, your sound recording is the best I have to listen to so far, and your excellent sound quality is adding a great deal of pristine wilderness feeling from the surrounding environment and the natures own beautiful sounds, and by that you are making a perfection, to your, video both for eyes (well-composed/exposed video footage) and recorded sound for the ears! The fragrance from the freshly cooked coffee we have to imagine! :-) °
Thanks, I appreciate it! Yes warm bread would be nice, I'll try that! :-) Atb
Erik your videos relaxes me so much. I watch them before sleeping, amazing, thank you!!
wow... very impressive. You are a wonderful film maker. Thanks Erik
Чудеса вокруг! Thank you so much! Your channel is treasure!
I dont know how ive been alive for 51 years and never seen a lemming..they are so cute. The sounds of nature in this video are amazing. I'm pretty sure id freeze in a few hours but i appreciate you bringing us out into the wild.
The scenery is strikingly beautiful and your style of producing these videos is great. What I enjoy the most is probably the high quality audio and the true sounds of nature.
Wonderful Video Erik, many thanks for sharing it with us, so peaceful in the sun, but wild in the snow. Audio sound enhance the experience no end. 5+ scoops of coffee, you sure like it strong. One of your top videos this one. Thanks John in New Zealand.
Love your videos… Not a lot of talking, and it's way more powerfull! Silence is great and rare on RUclips;
Yeah, it's true.
This channel deserves a lot more subscribers.
Glad att jag hittade din kanal. Det är enastående vackra filmer och enormt inspirerande. Tack! 👍 Fortsätt
I love how you incorporate many animals and even trains in your videos. They are so much more when you do.Each has a story to tell.☺😎
Its all looking nice and beautiful, "I wanna be there" feeling until its min 8:00 in the movie and you understand its really not for everyone to be alone there.. Thank you Erik for taking us with you..Absolutely stunning images and video, beautiful
It is really refreshing to see your videos. So much is said by the way you film. Your videography allows us to feel like we are right there with you on these trips. Instead of having to describe it to us like all of these other youtubers. Great videos
Good video. No words. .only snow.
Hello Erik. It’s good to hear that you pay so much attention to the sound in your videos as you do to the filming. The stereo sound is awesome with the minimum wind noise on your microphones.
Thanks for my healing video from Korea
You are definitely ""In the out and beyond" in this beautiful outing! Nice Work!
Brylcreem on toast - a backpacker's classic.
On another note. Erik, you make beautiful things for us to experience. Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous pictures and sounds, Erik! For someone living outside of the country for a long time, these vids sure helps when I miss home. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this; it is much appreciated!
The pleasure is mine! Thanks Christer
Greetings from Russia. We have a saying - "Silence is gold, and the word is silver." Thank you, Eric, for the excellent videos. And the atmosphere of the journey is perfectly conveyed without words. Separate respect for coffee :) I drink strong too. Good luck!
We have the same saying in Sweden :) Thanks!
Man every time I watch this channel I enjoy so much
I ended up spending because so relaxing.

Another work of art. Thank you indeed Erik.
Thank you for doing what I can't do so that I can enjoy watching you do it. Peace. :)
I like the video of your camp, it feels like I'm going there to enjoy the silence of the mountains.. great video
I love watching your videos and I always smile so much when you have your morning coffee. Watching you, holy moment 😘
Erik, you continue to astound me with your passion and creativity. I so appreciate you, your desire to allow us to be a part your experience is so rewarding. You are awesome! Keep doing what you are doing!
Winter camping is something special. So beautiful, so peaceful. It's sad that so many people miss out on this!
So true, but it's quite challenging both regarding skills and equipment, so you need to invest both time and some money to be prepared - but the reward is high!
The Winter there is amazing beautiful and your videos give the best experience of the sights and sounds that you can have without actually being there. You are completely comfortable in this element. I can watch your videos again and again.
One of the very few Channels on RUclips, where you can like before watching.
The Vole didn't look impressed...
Great footage of the ptarmigans and lovely sounds they make in the quiet birch forest. Love your videos!
Nature that you show is overwhelming, calm and beautiful. Your film makes my heart beating in the midnight.
Hi LIKE. LIKE. SCENERIES LANDSCAPE.
Yet another jaw dropper..
..wow, zapping conditions. Hats off, for the wildlife too..
Thanks :) With the amazing nature it does much of the job.
That's the winter should look like! Just like poetry!

The expansive and intimate composition -photography and filming

Over time, I have been compelled to share this channel with many relatable YT enthusiasts and others
Thanks
Thanks Finn, I appreciate that!
Such a relaxing video! I completely enjoyed it. And I loved the breakfast making 😊
Another well done one, Erik. Beautiful Backcountry camping and skiing. Thanks.
Tes reportages sont hallucinants. Quelle qualité de son et d'images !!! Merci!! :-)
What a difference the weather makes! From clear blue skies and sunshine, whith marvellous views over the open landscape - where everybody would appreciate a trip outdoors - to grey snowfall on the next morning - when you only leave your tent, if you must. Wonderful spring impressions, Erik.
Indeed, weather affects everything on a trip! Thanks
@@erik_normark Hi again! I guess, you check out the weather forecast carefully, before you start your trips, especially in winter.
E.g. No wind, no snowfall predicted: no tent required or an ul-version like the Tartpent Notch will do. Otherwise - like on this trip - you pack a solid one, like the Hilleberg Nammatj.
What weather forecast do you use and rely on?
The swedish SMHI, the norwegian YR or anything else?
Otroligt fin film, tack för en stunds avkoppling från vardagen.
I just watch this video more then 1000 time literally. Just awesome men
Another quality video. What a beautiful area and sounded a little cold with the wind. Reminded us of Iceland when we lived there. Your content is outstanding. Take care, Al
My pleasure again watching. I am really looking forward to follow your upcoming trips this Spring - Stay Safe
Always "like" - for your "like" than you drink a tea)) Thanks Bro for your videos!

Tack för dina många fina filmer! Jag gör min första solovandring med övernattning i morgon, delvis tack vare dig. Förvisso bara på Upplandsleden, men man måste ju börja någonstans.
Superb video and content , fantastic scenery thanks for posting
I thought I recognised the bird call as Ptarmigan as I have heard and seen them in the Scottish Cairngorms still in their winter plumage, love to see a wolverine at a safe distance! 👍👍
thank you for this beautiful video. so inspirational.
