Thank you for sharing your videos. I used to enjoy backpacking, camping, and rock climbing. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease which is an autoimmune disease that affects my body’s joints and organs. I have daily chronic pain, fatigue, and stiffness. This video brought back good memories 😊. I will continue to watch your channel from my bed under my electric blanket. Who knows?…maybe I can camp again if my RD goes into remission ♥️. I have all my gear, including backpacks, tents, stoves, snow shoes, skis, rock climbing gear, etc. Thanks again for sharing. God Bless you and your family ♥️😊♥️!
Hey. Just asking. I am also a patient of rheumatoid arthritis disease which is autoimmune and chronic pain occurs. Doctor suggested me some medicines and physical exercise but doesn’t work too much. May I know how you are recovering? Any suggestion? Thanks.
First time I hot tented it was in Bridgeport CA during cold weather training U.S.M.C...believe me when I say the tent was a luxury..it got down to -32° when we had to dig in and create our personal sleeping spaces.. Our tent fit 15 or half the platoon. Our stove was heated by a Jerry can of diesel with a drip tube hung upside down...the sled carried it all plus ammo and rations...two Marines pulling in snow shoes and rifles one more in the back on down hill decent as a brakeman and steering man.. This looks to be way more enjoyable and I'm going for it next winter..Thank you for your video
Ya doing it in the army way is not fun for sure. I used to do that for a while not that long ago. It was called Winter warfare training in Canada. Those days are behind me now.
Помню в юности ходили в зимний походы. Было очень интересно. Другое было снаряжение советское но все было качественное. Запомнилось. У вас тоже все интересно. Круто одним словом.
Nicely planned and nicely filmed. I am almost 70; hot-tented in January at 10 degrees (but snowing, 40+ mph winds). I always learn a few things from men like you who are half my age, but more experienced in the forest (though, during the Covid years I soloed 35 nights when I was 67). It is so kind of you to share your knowledge and experience with us. Be safe, and enjoy the forest.
Hey David thanks so much for the great comment. I'm glad you got something out of the video and enjoyed watching it. Hope you have a great week. Cheers.
So simple, so quiet, so peaceful... What an amazing treat in todays fast pace society. I enormously enjoyed this video of inner peace. Thanks mate for doing that and for uploading such a great piece of art 😍
This is pure art... Thanks for your videos, I enjoy them so so much! Hope you can review one of rbm tents some day, I love their gear, a personal fan:)

❤ absolutely love the fresh snow on the ground. I especially love your breakfast. It’s good seeing ya again Joshua. Have you ever tried doing a two or three day camp? We’ll have a great week and take care. See ya later. 😊👍🏻❤️
Hey Rosie. Thanks and glad you like the video. I'll let you in on a little secret, my last career choice I could easily spend up to 60 days in a tent doing training in NWT Canada when it was -50C. So yes I can do multi day trips in cold weather but I do this for fun and don't feel the need to do it. LOL... hope that makes sense. Wish you all the best.😊
Cool! I understand. Just thought I’d ask ya. 🤭 yes , it looks like it’s a lot of fun camping. Me , personally , would not do it . I’m too old too scared of the wild life . ☺️ lol! Although it looks and sounds like it’s really relaxing. Anyway , you take care and see ya next time! 😊❤
This is such a great way to pass the winter. Out in the woods with a roasty toasty stove. I usually go out for a winter camp once a year with the Army, but the work schedule kept me away this year. I love being on fire picket there in the night for a couple of hours when it's totally quiet (save the snoring competition going on in the tent, lol). Great video.
Thanks Josh for allowing me to watch this from the warm comfort of my bed. 😅 I love camping, but I would probably do a bigger tent ⛺️ for myself to stretch out and enjoy the scenery. Loved your breakfast by the way, I could almost smell the coffee😅😅😅
I’m from California. Boy does that look cold. I also spent over 10 yrs on Oahu, Hawaii while my ex husband was stationed there in military. I’m amazed how easy it is for you to be in that cold, and outdoors soooo much. Wow

It's always fun to seem that first smoke going. ☺️
WOWWWWWWWW ..... this is a super video, Do not come off. VERY INTERESTING !!!! I want to this place
Glad you enjoyed it Meiram. Hope you have a great weekend.
I have spent many nights in that tent. And have weathered some nasty storms in it too. It’s pretty heavy but it is a great shelter.
Yes this tent is heavy then others but it's breathable with the canvas
Love the smoke pipe clean out with a branch. Great idea!
Glad you like it! The forest has a lot of tools

Spring maybe coming but that was a cold night. Glad you did well. Take care
It was a cold one. But fun at the same time.
I've had my eye on a stove hut for a few years now. Might just pull the trigger and get it done and enjoy it.
