- LoloYodel 2 camera/angle video remix but this time with 100% 1st generation "Lazy Cow" (Angles One and Two) plus slight additional editing and visual additions....
This was the 2nd night of the now legendary Oct. 1989 Hampton shows under the billing of the Dead as "The Warlocks"
In addition to the spectacular renditions of each song, it was also the 1st Dark Star since Berkley 1984, the 2nd Death Don't Have No Mercy since 1972, the 1st Attics of My Life since 10-28-1972 and the 1st time Dark Star and Death Don't were played in the same show since 11-2-69 ...
Regardless of the "firsts", the playing here, from start to end, was simply ON THE BALL (in the wave, on target, whatever !). Enjoy.

Encore: Attics Of My Life - Видеоклипы
Just love this song in all it's iterations over the years. Jerry's playing always shines tenderly.
This is one of the Dead’s best songs. Come to think of it, I’ve never heard a bad Row Jimmy.
Yup
I dont think they happen. I know I read that Jerr always really liked it personally.
I was 1 year(s) old when Jerry was ripping this, and happily listening to it today over 30 years later. caught a few D&C shows pre-pandemic, but man do I wish I could have just seen Jerry (& Brent) at least once. what legends
Had a great time at this show
What a show
I love this song perhaps my favorite. I also rank Bertha a close second. I had a bird who loved Bertha and would break into dancing when I played it. I also love Row Jimmy, perhaps because my name is Julie. I also have never hear a bad Row Jimmy. Hunter at his best with Gerry. God I miss Gerry. Thank God he and Hunter left us the music. It has gotten me through much of life’s troubles. One listens and troubles are eased. The first time I heard the dead at 13, I knew the relationship I began would change everything,
I loved the October '89 run because the boys nailed the fan favorites like dark star and uncle john's, but they also really did a great job pulling out those underrated tunes that are so damn good when done right! Attics, Row Jimmy, We Bid You Goodnight, Stagger Lee, Queen Jane, and all the rest.
Not Fade Away!!! Thanks for the comment Dan, wish i could have been at this one
Broken heart don't feel so bad
Ain't got half a what you thought you had
Rock your baby to and fro
Not too fast and not too slow
Does anyone have the video of the dark stsr it was the first in 5 years and the crowd goes nuts.
It's out there.
MULE SEZ--unreal no one is here--their loss --my gain---SO fine!! (~);}
