In this video, Tim talks about how to strengthen your core when you are squatting. Being able to breathe with your diaphragm is a wonderful way to strengthen your center, especially when you are squatting. In fact, this is one way that you built a resilient body as a child. This is truly strength living, not strength training! #originalstrength

😊 I first saw suggested squat assist on your advanced pelvic routine. Great suggestion for it yield positive results. Specifically, I started with bedpost for assist going down. Next, after a couple of days, I started hanging out at the bottom of the squat to let tight muscles relax. There is room for added improvement but amazed that my 83 year old original knees have had a brief glimpse of a possible resetting and spring for rising back up again. One day at a time! A comparable success story occurred doing a single jumping jack I had routinely done in my Army boot camp days. Assist that turned the corner for me when I was able do a single one with ease in the YMCA indoor pool. Thereafter, it was a simple matter to do repeat jumping jacks in the water for a resetting to take hold. So hanging out at the bottom of the squat and playing around there holds promise for my resetting for my core and pelvic floor. Thank you once again. George Kotjarapoglus

I just thought, happy baby pose gets you some very similar action but supine. Opens up the pelvic floor too. I think I'll try prepping students for these kinds of squat exercises with happy baby, or alternate between squat, kneel rocking, and happy baby.

If you ever have seen Indian toilet, it's designed in a way that the person has to sit in a squatting position in order to be able to use it. And almost 80-90% of the Indian population does the same thing, even if the person is 90 years old. In some cases, old people need commode like set up but they are mostly on deathbed.
