I used to play airsoft every weekend, and it was so great. But nowadays, lots of serious stuff has happened in my personal and physical life. For example, being super depressed, overweight, finding out that I'm now type 2 diabetic, not having the money, and being in school. Makes it so difficult to play. So I had to quit temporarily, but hopefully, I can get my life in order soon.

Airsoft is a good way to exercise and work on cardio and stamina depression I encourage a therapist and a support group which you can find through guess what airsoft I’m just getting back into it myself after 2-3 years hopefully I’m not too out of date with everything
regular 9mm is something like 1150 fps and .45 acp is like 900 also 9mm carries almost 500 joules of energy so 5 joules isnt close to 22lr (a paintball carries 12 joules for reference so 22lr has to be at least 200 joules)

After living in Japan for a while now I'd say I agree with your sentiments on airsoft here. Personally I've found that I enjoy doing steel challenge or other similar competition style things here and I'd recommend giving it a try as a change of pace if you haven't already.

Man you're just like me fr fr. I also have 15 something guns that are mostly collection pieces and not field worthy. I also barely ever play because of how painful it is to get up early on a sunday morning and go out play with all the logistics that come with it. (getting all your stuff ready and carrying it around). I just wanna have a private killing house or shooting range where i can play with my guns alone and just shoot targets and basically be an "airsoft operator" lol

You need to come to the states HTK Airsoft indoor facility Loogootee, Indiana 3 floors 50,000 square foot airsoft factory all playable and a speedqb field it’s insane

In Canada if you can’t own an airsoft replica that is over 500 fps. If it goes over 500 fps you need a gun license to own the replica. Hence why most fields cap out at 400 fps

Like, im almost not even kidding. Inaka land space is so cheap in Tochigi, in Gunma, probablt even in Saitama.
Make a place, play the games you want, intergrate it into a social media brand that draws attention from hot adspaces.
Like an "I'll do it myself" moment. Show them it can be better, and others will make it better.

No one wants you to quit bro because we love your wide variety of quality content, but I understand you have to live YOUR life not the life WE want you to live. Not sure if you’re doing a Q&A in the near future but, with respect to your personal private life, why did you move back to Japan? Seems like you dislike airsoft there more and I thought you said your family is in Canada. But otherwise I love these podcast type videos as I drive to semi truck and need something to keep me entertained!
Bro I know this is not the norm but my wife loves Airsoft. The group we usually play with are young women, were regulars at our most popular local field, are there people who give the sport and airsofters a bad rep, absolutely. Me personally I agree with the sentiment that there should be higher age restrictions for fields to avoid these negative stigmas

no, you have to buy 12g CO2 cartridges separately, but iy's really cheap and common. Just buy it online or go to your nearest military/outdoor store

you guys have some really weird rules in japan damn, you should try playing airsoft in europe, i would say airsoft is the opposite of dying here, althou i do agree that airsoft is expensive and it gets more and more expensive, a long time ago everyone just played with any airsoft guns they could get, but nowdays there are 1000+ $ hpa guns for example that will grant a big advantage over someone with just a 100$ replica

Definitely the same issue here in terms of paying fields overbooking at times - it's way better to split groups up and alternating have some playing and some prepping, with shorter rounds but less players in each game - had some great times at Action Bunker Taipei like that before it closed down.

I waited till almost 1 year into dating my girlfriend (who now is my wife) that I was into tournament paintball.
I can't imagine what she would have thought of me with airsoft. But she isn't judgemental at all. Just my own insecurities

@ 58:30 this is basically gambling mentality. There is a reason gambling and gatcha games are so popular in Asian countries.
But also I’d like to add: this mentality is so pervasive in the population that it’s even influencing the way many airsoft manufacturers design their guns. There are some (not all) making them in ways where the quality control is intentionally made inferior. Mostly Chinese brands not so much the Taiwanese ones. Your essentially finding that your are gambling on not getting a lemon gun (more often then not)
…it shouldn’t be that way….
They need to stop designing “flimsy toys” and focus on making them “reliable training tools” outta the box without upgrades. BECAUSE AIRSOFT IS ESSENTIALLY A SIMULATION OF A FIRE FIGHT and if a firefight is a life or death situation then why would you gamble on your guns reliability? It doesn’t make sense.

I guess maybe if its your whole life. Otherwise it doesnt seem like a big deal to most people... Now you have 18k worth of toy guns..... oof. Then again the same could be said about any hobby. But first priority, find someone who likes you for you. And then maybe invite them come with one day. Just a thought.
Airsoft in Japan sounds like it kina sux. I wouldnt know anything about Japan, but somethin such as Airsoft should be fun, enjoyed in every way, it should not be a chore, confined to strict rules cultural or otherwise.

@@MaydaysanAirsoft Coming from Southern Africa, many guys play it as a form of actual training, because you know, Africa being such a lawless place, like myself most of em in the Private Sector because the locals cant be trusted with any authority let alone their own, so every country has its thing. But luckily our government doesnt even know what airsoft is so nobody is gonna enforce anything so we play insane games. Bush warfare being a hard damn thing to be good at, And i dont think ive seen faster CQB indoors than our guys. They will shoot your eyelashes off if you think of peaking a corner. Like to see the IDF get around that with their fancy indoor technique,
