  • Airsoft in Japan can suck sometimes due to the restrictions and limitations. However, I went to a field today that I didn't like, but they made REAL changes and it became the most fun day of my life!

    • @VerminlordRE2
      @VerminlordRE2 5 дней назад

      I don't get why Speedsofters don't have a specific day for them since the gameplay they go for is so different from the LARPer style airsoft. Like at this point the speedsofter isn't really a playstyle, it is a lifestyle.
      Don't know why this happens often, but Speedsofters really like their HPA systems and oddly those hurt way more than normal, do the gases changes mid-way through a game?

    • @LeHerpesKing
      @LeHerpesKing 4 дня назад

      @@VerminlordRE2The reason why HPA feels like it hurts more is due to how consistent HPA systems are with muzzle velocity. You do get the odd wanker that cranks up the regulator but it's not super common.

    I think you just played too much and wanted to get content for the channel. Right now you're more so playing for fun which is a subtle but very big difference. Also I think having a better split in the airsoft community about what sort of 'gameplay' people like and expect is going to help the sport. In belgium and netherlands where I play I see more and more 'specific' days. Like one day will tactical day where no HPA adapters, no speedsoft clothing/ setups are allowed and then other days it will be anything goes. Some fields even offer GBB only days. This helps set expectations on what sort of experience you will have and helps when you know you don't like a certain style just don't go on that day.

    Part of what keeps me out of airsoft in Poland is several facts 1) EXPENSIVE - I can literally get a gun license for any of the GBBR's out there that are worth buying, and I can buy a genuine AK by adding just 1500 zł, why not? 2) Play vs Sim - Airsoft can be a great sim experience, it can also be a great play experience. However it has always been moving towards simulating reality. SO why hasen't anyone decided to make an "airsoft safe" sim gun? The future of airsoft as a sport is the Simulation aspect including pain and marking hits. 3) Honor system - lets face it you cant always tell... and its exceptionally easy to cheat. Any marking tech would cahnge the game completely and would make competetive airsoft just as viable as competetive paintball.
    Tl;DR: 1) Money 2) Airsoft has always been a simulation, at some point you max out the sim part. Its like experiencing all the content of COD to the point that its braindead rinse and repeat. 3) Cheating and uncertainty with hits. TAKE AWAY - The future of airsoft is its evolution into simunition. Taking IRL guns and gutting them so you can sell the adaptor parts to run simulated ammo.
