There is so much beauty in the human body... in all of it, that most people simply can't seem to notice due to all of the social taboos and due to this oversexualization of the human body that is agressivelly pushed by the society and media into the minds of everyone from the early ages.
In fact, being more in touch with nudity, and the human body, in a non-sexual and taboo-free way, is actually extremely beneficial for the psychological, mental and emotional health, and also helps a us a lot to be more body-positives, accepting towards ourselves and the others, and to see other people in a more humane way! ^^
That is certainly something I recommend to everyone! ^^

nah but the cooks usually have blood or sauce of similar consistency and color from just cooking normally , Artists draw with warm colors regularly so a dark red watercolor paint is similar enough to actual blood so they have that from just painting normally. A simple dude that is not known for cooking or painting is the biggest suspect as not much else can make them end up having liquid dark red stains on their clothes .The only way they can get that is from soda or juice but red soda isn't very popular if it does exist
I love the atmosphere in nude drawing classes, especially the first time and how you imagined it before that.
Like ppl often think like it's gonna be so super awkward and weird to just stare at someone being naked and "oh my gosh!"
But actually being there with a bunch of other artists it immediately shifts to the art itself and the naked person in the room is just... a person and it's suddenly so normal and ordinary. You're way too focused on getting the god damn proportions right to even think about anything weird.

Oh my gosh... I've used my crush's impossible to draw face as a reason to stare at him XD I've also drawn my teachers in my notebooks while bored in class lol. I don't really have the hoarding problem since I'm a broke student, but if I had to pick something, I think it would probably be sketchbooks. I have a ton and I have like 5 that aren't full since I'm waiting until I'm in the mood for the EXACT medium the paper was made for lol. And the ones that are full, I go through them in about 4 months so i always need a new one.

For me, when it comes to having a ton of something, it's really any sort of ink pens or any form of paper. I have like a ton of sketchbooks that are started and i never finish them, piles and piles of loose sheets of any kind. Lined, white, colored, gridded, patterned whatever, I just have piles and piles of paper all over and I keep collecting new papers as if I didn't have enough of them to draw on and end up never using them and I just hoard paper like it's the end of the world this is a problem.
Does having about 60-80 colored pencils count as being addicted to a certain art supply?
I have AT LEAST 300, if not more colored pencils, and around 150 pens. So, do you think that's a bit extensive? I also have around 40 different graphite pencils...
So, compared to me, it's not much of an addiction, but I have stopped buying things for the moment, hehe...

The thing I always buy and that does not kill my wallet is this very specific type of sketchbook.
The paper is thick and nice easy for any sort of drawing/painting you want, it has plenty of pages

Maybe another point to add is absolutely obsessing over what you're painting/ drawing to the point where nobody gets you out of your room to stop you. But if you're e.g. a gamer, that's frowned upon, because you almost never leave your room, etc...
I think an opposite video of this one (things that artists can't get away with) would be really cool as well, it could feature liking your own art (for example listening to your own music if you're a musical artist or being proud of yourself for making a really nice illustration because it comes across as selfabsorbed, etc. - but somehow you never really see a subway worker being turned down for eating their own sandwiches, you know?)

True. My hoarding thing is acrylic paints. I have like three unused sets of them (and couple open ones, and some random singular tubes). AND in past ten years I have had more birthdays, than days to use these supplies. This is absolutely ridiculous.
