- I had been looking for a good quality Bluetooth Speaker for a long while, and finally settled on the Marshall Woburn bluetooth speaker.
This is not a portable bluetooth speaker but it is great if you want to find a one speaker solution for your home needs.
In this video you will see the Marshall Woburn Unboxing & the Marshall Woburn Review, so if you are thinking of purchasing a high-end bluetooth speaker, you can have my recommendation for Marshall Woburn.
Many people might also consider buying the Marshall Woburn 2, but I believe that unless your requirement is to play the two speakers simultaneously, otherwise this one suits all needs completely.

Marshall Woburn vs Bose SoundTouch
Many people asked my why I went for the Marshall Woburn and not the Bose SoundTouch, and it brought back the Marshall vs Bose debate that always occurs in India when someone talks about premium quality speakers in India.
The reason I went for the Marshall Woburn and not the Bose SoundTouch series 3 or Bose soundtouch series ii is because I tested both Bose Soundtouch series 3 and bose soundtouch series 2 in the Croma store and found that their audio quality, while really great, was in some ways below that of the Marshall Woburn speaker. I liked the crispness and the base on the Marshall Woburn.
Now that might be a personal choice, but I liked the Marshall Woburn's antique design to be better than the sleek design of the Bose Speaker.

Marshall Woburn vs Marshall Stanmore vs Marshall Kilburn
The differences between the Marshall Woburn, Marshall Stanmore & Marshall Kilburn are simple. Marshall Kilburn is a portable bluetooth speaker and great for carrying around with you.
The Marshall Stanmore is in many ways the smaller version of the Marshall Woburn, and the sound is accordingly less louder. This compares well with the Bose SoundTouch Series ii speaker. However, you can't use the Marshall Stanmore with you, since it's not a portable bluetooth speaker.
Marshall Stanmore has a bigger brother, called the Marshall Woburn, which is featured in this video. And it is the best speaker from Marshall in my opinion. Now, there is a Marshall Woburn 2, but it is more suitable to be a multi-room speaker.

I bought the woburn but i live in a smaller apartment... The sound volume this speaker produce was far to big for my apartment so i ended up placing it in my fathers cottage... It has a bigger area so the sound fits it better... Now im using a marshall kilburn at my home instead ✌🏻

These things blast and the crisp in the audio is just phenomenal. I gave my Stanmore to my parents back home and i have recently ordered the Wooburn ii. Really excited about it… how’s your speaker after a couple years of use? Just thought to ask if the purchase was worth it?

@@masterchief28 Hello Rohan, I would be glad to share my experience. As a user of both, i can tell you that both these speakers are ultimate in terms of audio output and quality. I usually listen to Classic rock by Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam etc. and i have enjoyed it on Stanmore back in the day but recently i have moved to a more spacious living area. The stanmore was good enough for this as one but I needed more bass. So I bought Wooburn. I would suggest to go for Stanmore if you’re not into rock music. But for party purposes in a bigger DeN area Wooburn 2 is the performer. 🙂

Go for home theatre. The issue with this is that if you connect with the tv and switch on the tv you cannot turn on the speaker remotely. You’ll have to do it manually. This kills the fun fir me at least who switched on the tv via Alexa and then has to manually go to the speaker to turn that on too. Big joke.

Turns out amazon dropped the price after I ordered, so I went back to complaint to amazon about the price drop, they took the one I got, and sent me a refund. And i ordered a new one for 32k!
Also, I could've gone for a full home theatre experience, but I live in an apartment, i wanted a one speaker solution! And this one suits my need, I'll check out be JBL though, my dad might like it for his setup! Thanks for the tip!

how is the movie experience without surround?
It's decent. Since I never really had a surround system, I don't feel the difference. But, it truly is for music, not so much for games and movies.

I would suggest go for this one, it's cheaper now that the Woburn 2 has come out, otherwise you can also checkout some Bose soundbars, or some from JBL as well.

you've made my day a 100x better by commenting! I just visited the marshall store today, and turns out they've stopped selling the woburn 1, but the woburn 2 is also a great speaker, however the only benefit it provides over the woburn one is the multi room connectivity.

You should have got a Bose speaker , Marshall's are not good with there sound signature, They might look good but believe me they don't sound good.Ask any audiophile they would recommend Bose over Marshall. Enjoy your speaker.

Here is how my friend got this speaker:
He ordered this costly speaker. Paid the price in advance. When the speaker got delivered, he took it out from the packaging and kept his 25w random company amplifier. And then sealed it. Made an unboxing and reaction video, and returned the item. He waited for the replacement, and again did the same. Now he asked for refund, and they refunded entire amount back to my friend.
Long story short, now even I have one of these amazing speakers at my place. Oh btw rn we are grooving on Marshall Woburn II and high af. Hahahhahaa
