Maturity is realizing that dedicating 4-5 hours a day to studies during childhood and adhering to the guidance of strict middle-class parents, is more beneficial than pursuing a career as a child artist.
Why?? If suppose one child has a talent for acting, singing, dance or painting won't they showcase it to the world not everyone wants to be Doctors, engineer or Ias ips

talented child actors who were our emotion, our happiness and a part of our childhood deserve to be superstars but unfortunately this bollywood industry is obsessed with only 'nepokids' who were not even in existence for us till before 7 8 yrs
In hollywood, there is also an issue with child actors mainly females. I have seen so many interviews in which they have exposed how industry exploits them in very bad way. There are so many actors like miley cyrus, millie bobby brown , etc. have face so much exploitation in the industry in their earlier phase. There is rules and regulations but who followed them strictly? Even there are some child actors who started getting addicted towards drugs nd substances after getting into the industry. I think Indian film industry is much better than Hollywood. But for child there should be some strict rules and actions should be taken by the parents and government as well.
Bro even Justin Beiber hot exploited . On camera. In live TVs. 30 yer old women were kissing on his neck. And people didn't think much of it . And he was actually hooked to drugs
@@luci4463Just search and read about the tragic career decline/downfall of a young actress named Amanda Byrnes (from she's the man) AND once most famous Miss Lindsey Lohan POOR GIRLS!
I have seen Saloni in the short films of Content Ka Keeda and there she explored her versatility well as she did comedy as well as emotional(majority roles) very well.
You didn’t mention Ahsas Channa who was made to act as a boy in films like Vaastu Shastri and KANK..and nobody knew she was a girl until she was around 9 when her father revealed it to the press and threatened to sue her mom or something.
I am also a budding film director, and I have directed some short films and working with kids is a really hard thing, they are non professional and I can't even shout on them as they are kids working without a pay. So recently I had compromised with acting as main bachchon ko force nahi kar sakti. Abhi short films mein yeh haal hai so future mein feature films mein bahut dikkat hogi. 😓 I will try to b like Priyadarshan sir like he was on Bumm Bumm Bole set, as he loved the girl child artist with Darsheel as she was as cute as his daughter and resembled her.💖💖
There are I guess few child artists who are famous till now beacuse of their following...like millions of followers they have ....Jannat Zubair rehmani, Reem sameer sheikh, anushka sen.....even jannat once in an interview said that his father was interested in acting, but like utni unko popularity nhi mili,...my father chose this career path for me and I am happy that he chose it for me....she has around 50 million followers now.
This is a HUGE problem in Hollywood as well. People have been calling for stricter laws for child actors in the entertainment industry. They use twins for the same role because a child under the age of 12 cannot be worked over 4-6 hours, but even this law is broken. India mein bhi yeh awareness hoke nayi laws aur better working conditions banani chahiye.
Not to forget number of kids who were exploited not even by the industry people itself but their parents as well, famous examples include Drew Barrymore, Macaulay Culkin. Even the channels who claimed to be kid friendly exploited these children biggest example is of Nick, the recent documentary on it and Nick's producer Dan Schneider, exposed him and others, how they ruined Amanada Bynes, Drake bell was sexually assaulted and such other details revealed were way too disturbing.
But I think one thing you're ignoring is the fact that se*ual exploitation of children is not a film industry problem alone, it happens everywhere. Even within religious settings. It's not uncommon for children to get se*ually abused by priests/sheiks/teachers etc. Parents need to be more protective of their children and not allow them to be in any unsafe environments.
As a model and child actor I confirm all this happens with everyone who enters this industry. I have left everything currently I am 16 . But when I started I was just 8 years old. I got exploited by multiple people . lack of proper guidance at such young age cause me to go through all this. The level of disgust I saw here was insane. This mental pressure and everything led to pannic attacks. I still have nightmare of those disgusting managers. If I really share my struggle story it would be too long to read.
Loved the video .... such a deep dive. 👍 Always wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry; at the age of 6 or 7 told my father that I wanted to take part in a kid dance reality show, but he refused and told me that place is not for us. 🥺 We are lower-middle class. And now I understand why he refused; after seeing cases of Casting Couch, Harassment and Drugs and all. It looks very beautiful from outside like Heaven but from inside the industry is an absolute Hell.
You should make a part 2 of this. Where u can explore more about the ones who actually did make it through this and became stars (influencers) , but how it impacts the psyche of these people. Eg Avneet kaur, Aashika bhatia, etc They did make it big on insta, but at what cost. And the future doesn't seem to be much bright, considering the roles they have been getting. Specially avneet, whose whole focus is just being the eye candy
Thank You for sharing your perspective I totally agree with it. I can completely relate to all that you said. I am 20 years old right now and when I was a child I also wanted to become an actor and wanted to be on TV as I was also influenced by other child actors I saw on TV But my parents never agreed to that and I am so happy right now I didn't choose acting as a career and feel very relieved now. At that time I was very angry with my parents because I felt like they didn't support my passion and interest and didn't let me do things I liked but now I understand they were completely right and they stopped me for my well-being.
But we really needed movies like taare Zameen par, chillar party, Stanley ka dabba, etc. these have changed the demography of India. There are positives also. Please don't portray all as negative
I think we as a society tend to look at every child behaviour with a adult lens, as in if they this is doing this now then what will it be doing at my age. I think this is the main problem. Because it's not just acting, but "gifted" children in general face this. Many kids who were supposedly considered gifted as a child and went to special classes etc., later in life can't understand why they are not able to live upto the expectations people had from them.
Unpopular opinion: The Jannat Zubair, Reem Shaikh, Avneet Kaur, Ashnoor Kaur, Arishfa kaur and all the other child actors who people THINK got famous off of tiktok should stop. I have seen so many nasty comments under their tiktok/reel videos about them being privileged or just influencers. Meanwhile they have have worked hard since they were young meanwhile most of us were busy enjoying our childhood. Ofcourse they are rich now but with their OWN money. Not their families money. It boils my blood. And they are probably more talented and hardworking than most of them bollywood nepo babies.

Also i would like to mention about ashley and mary-kate olsen (Scarlett witch actress's older sisters) who despite having successful career, fame and money, left the film industry the moment they turned 18 and became adults. Just google them and see their aged faces (even though they are just 38) you can clearly see the toll film industry and things which come with it had on them. This shows that even success as child artist doesn't mean its worth all the struggle sometimes.

True, we look at Michael Jackson. Dude was famous since he was 10@@gangotridey8414
@@gangotridey8414 the simple thing is that those kids aren't developed enough to start earning professionally. They might not even know what's happening with them or what they're doing. So it's better to wait till the child is old enough to make informed decisions
Getting judge 24/7 is terrible thing
And for children it's totally not good thing
Nowadays thanks to social media many parents don't care about their child privacy and there are many child youtubers
I personally think there should be law that children below age 10 should not allow use phone and for over 10 only
1 or 2 hour should be allowed

I dont know how to feel about this, since my parents dont let me to have a phone even though im over 10 but the thing is if u dont have a phone over 10, you will slowly feel like you dont understand what's going on in society and you will just feel like u are left out since everybody gets all the bonuses for having a phone all except you

Arora's parents are next level. They have given Botox to an underage preteen just so that she looks older and garners more work. There is not a single claim on her age that is valid and she is obviously still a kid.
talented child actors who were our emotion, our happiness and a part of our childhood deserve to be superstars but unfortunately this bollywood industry is obsessed with only 'nepokids' who were not even in existence for us till before 7 8 yrs
@@luci4463Just search and read about the tragic career decline/downfall of a young actress named Amanda Byrnes (from she's the man) AND once most famous Miss Lindsey Lohan POOR GIRLS!
such a underrated and ignored topic ,appreciate it
Nitanshi goel is also a child actor now she is popular after doing laaptaa ladies
In such a cruel world where parents depend on their small kids for their survival . Its just so selfish and arrogant
Truth is always stranger than the fiction same case here.
I will try to b like Priyadarshan sir like he was on Bumm Bumm Bole set, as he loved the girl child artist with Darsheel as she was as cute as his daughter and resembled her.💖💖
Childhood is incredibly important; it shapes their future and allows them to explore, learn, and grow with joy and wonder

Same thing both are bad things
But I think one thing you're ignoring is the fact that se*ual exploitation of children is not a film industry problem alone, it happens everywhere. Even within religious settings. It's not uncommon for children to get se*ually abused by priests/sheiks/teachers etc. Parents need to be more protective of their children and not allow them to be in any unsafe environments.
YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT! this heinous issue must be highlightened as well, and should be brought to the attention of public and law enforcement.

Loved the video .... such a deep dive. 👍
Always wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry; at the age of 6 or 7 told my father that I wanted to take part in a kid dance reality show, but he refused and told me that place is not for us. 🥺
We are lower-middle class.
Eg Avneet kaur, Aashika bhatia, etc
They did make it big on insta, but at what cost. And the future doesn't seem to be much bright, considering the roles they have been getting. Specially avneet, whose whole focus is just being the eye candy
3:03 Hansika Motwani is famous in South Industry
It was a ‘rumor’ that she was given injections to look older at 15/16. 👀

This is so heartbreaking!!
Woahh..totaly shocked to know this dark reality..and as normal viewer we sometimes aspire to be at that position if possible but u really broke that illusion for me.
Always hated this entertainment industry n now even more!
Ronnish (2 yrs): TV.
Parents: He wants to work in the TV industry!
Wow. What a logic! How did they even come to that conclusion! Mindblown. Lmao 😂 . Smh.
You know there's a saying on this: "Every thing has a price, in order to gain something, one must ready to lose something", suits perfectly here.

finally some one is talking on a very relevant topic.. it is very awkward to hear that heroine Tamanna was 13 years old when she starred as a glamour star... lot of such highly absurd things happen in this industry .. this needs to be regulated. Parents are also hands in gloves in many such scenarios...
Gareeb ka baccha paisa kamaye to child labour
Ameer ka baccha paisa kamaye to money mentality, skill development

Ahsaas Channa is one of those child actors who have survived in this industry!!! Her work till date is just superb❤
Why don't people understand that films are not factory products? Yes... I know corporations made the movie industry this way but, it's not. Imagine, It took 4 years before Jawan to a superstar like Shahrukh Khan to give a hit movie despite having all that fame, money, and power. So, how someone thinks that he/she will come to the industry and will give hit after hit and will be a superstar is beyond me.
