Producers should start making clauses in the contract for high-priced actors and actresses that if their movie flopped or did not do business to a certain point, they would have to pay back 10-20 % of their fees. Jab actors are asking for so much that they should be blamed or questioned for their poor performance in making a flop film. They get huge amount of theatrical rights, music rights, settelite rights , ott rights etc because of the name of the big stars. In 2024, we've only watched one movie, "Fighter," because it was a mass entertainer with a my favourite HRITHIK ROSHAN. In contrast, in the first half of 2023 alone, we watched three movies. This trend suggests that people are not frequenting theaters as much; they tend to go when ticket prices decrease.
Furthermore, it would be beneficial if movie stars reduced their fees based on their last box office performance to make ticket prices more affordable. And definitely even an entry level writer should have get atleast 40 to 50 lakhs if he/she is potential writer

Producers should start making clauses in the contract for high-priced actors and actresses that if their movie flopped or did not do business to a certain point, they would have to pay back 10-20 % of their fees. Jab actors are asking for so much that they should be blamed or questioned for their poor performance in making a flop film. They should be accused of charging this amount, restricting producers from giving the proper fees to other movie departments.

As they are from smaller backgrounds, and they grew up getting enamoured by the aura of these stars. Also they are not investing their personal money. So they heed to their demands quite easily.
I still remember when I was 4-5 yo I got sick for almost 20 days and at that time I watched bol bachhan 50-70 times that helped me recover fast as it made me laugh and happy 😂. It's still my fav movie

The only movie I kept thinking about throughout this video essay was Laapata Ladies. This movie was truly a gem. It had artistic elements, depth and a lesson. The actors did a fantastic job.

I think there is a real desperations in bollywood to grab that attention once again so they are choosing to portray cheating as an "okay" concept.. radicalised views on feminism, skin show , increased vulgarity normalisation of cursing hence familes don't go together to halls now.i think people are Just getting annoyed with Bollywood's trick.bollywood needs to come up with real acting talent and real stories and script! They need a reboot!

Because of these big stars ,producers are able to recover the film budget before the release of it. They get huge amount of theatrical rights, music rights, settelite rights , ott rights etc because of the name of the big stars. So that is why despite of giving continuous flops movies by stars like akshay kumar, he is still getting 100crs.

Star culture ki wajah se hum north korea or ab to Indonesian film industry se bhi piche hogye he .. mujhe yad hi nhi ki akhri bollywood movie kb dekhi thi ..wakai me ye desh ki soft power ke liye bhi ek bahut bada sad back he .. film hi desh ki pehchan hoti he or humari film industry or desh aaj bhi in stars ke piche pagal he log fan bane firte he .. centuries ka chutiyapa he ye asani se nhi jayga time lagega 👍
