    Went check my ac out same car 97 crv they said everything works just not to the computer like he turned it with his machine an tested my car won’t turn it on should I do these cheap fixes before I just swing for a compressor

    Do not use teflon on single wire sending units. It uses ground from the head.

      I just had p0118 code come up when I looked it up it said engine coolant temperature sensor

    Wtf why would you use Teflon. It melts under that high of heat.

      RIght! That ECT has a washer that is to prevent leaks.

    Neither quick or easy. From getting the clip off, to getting a socket/ratchet in place to remove, was a TOTAL PITA.
