Between shifts there is a turbo hiss, not much crackling. The crackling comes from when the revs are low and the motor is hot, turbo hiss is from the initial drop in revs.

Well there's no need for caps lock but that is the backfire from the back pressure in the exhaust. Basically the fuel isn't burning off before the exhaust valve releases exhuast and it is igniting fuel in the exhaust causing the flame and "popping sound".

u got a strong point there man, i've been to Singapore a lot since i'm an Indonesian and they are known to have superubercrazystrict rules and my sis's Singaporean bf also explained that car ownership is super costly there. In this case, it must be either u really really really mega rich n have a passion for cars (i mean Pagani is all about passion, it's impossible for guys who don't love cars to even know Pagani except if one plays NFS lol) or u are mega rich and u want to make a ! mark on that

A lot of cars do that. When you rapidly let go of the gas it causes the engine to slightly flood, which causes a misfire. This shoves the gas vapors from the misfire into the exhaust and the heat causes the ignition.
