Absolutely beautiful! At 73 years of age I was there from the very beginning at a early Beach Boys concert (garage) in 1965 (Surfin' USA) with my Mom and Dad - believe it or not! Kind of a long story - but not really. The high voice was usually Brian until things began to go not so well with him Only somewhat recently Al's son Matt began joining the boys as a replacement for the missing and beautiful high voice of Brian. This worked out better than anybody could realize with Brian stating just a couple of years ago that Matt actually sounded better than he did - and I, honestly, just have to agree. They will live forever in my mind and heart - as will dozens of the greatest bands the planet ever had / ever will have experienced during the culturally/musically amazing 1960's. Best to all, Terry

@@cathywhite9415 Ms White, It's actually quite unfortunate but I detect more than a little snideness (yes, it's a word - look it up!) in your query. The answer to your questionably sincere, although obviously skeptical, inquiry is yes. I communicate at least 3-4 times per year with two of the original Beach Boys (not staff, Roadies or otherwise) and have done so for many years. Carry on, Terry
@MAGNETO I wish I could have seen all the original lineup of The Beach Boys including Carl & Dennis, they both were talented & gave alot to the band. Very unfortunate we lost them both so tragically. 😔 RIP Carl & Dennis Wilson 😢 🙏🕊🕯
I saw them a number of times at Popular Creek in suburban Chicago and each time was better than the last. I too noticed the number of guys on stage, 14 and people or some people complain about the price of a ticket. Imagine the cost to move the staff and equipment from the west coast. Better enjoy this wonderful group while we still can. Brian is having issues right now.
@@swingersonian I think Jeff Foskett, standing behind David, sings lead on WDFFIL - see 4.25 on. He commonly did the falsetto leads when in Brian's band.
What a voice Alan still has and what a great entertaining band fantastic
Al's voice is just as good as it has ALWAYS BEEN ! Fantastic !! ---------------Wolfsky9, 71 y/o
FOURTEEN guys on stage !! AMAZINGLY good harmony !!!

Are you personal friends with The Beach Boys???

From the 50th Anniversary Tour !!!
Brian, Mike, Al & Bruce are so old now 😔 but hey guys...keep rockin 🎶🎸🎷🎹🎤 as long as God will allow!!!
Yes, I've loved these guys since I was a child. I was fortunate enough to see the original lineup in the 70s with Carl and Dennis, great memories!
AND HOW ABOUT YOU 🤭

Acappella start! Very impressive.
Wicked
They gonna give the del-vikings a run for their 💰 money
Was that David who said "sing with us"? It sound eerily like a latter-day Dennis.
I think David sang lead on "Why Do Fools Fall in Live". Not sure, but I am really thinking it was him, not Al or someone from Brian's band.

I think it was Bruce. It's always been one of his favourites little phrases to involve the audience
Not Nearly As Good As The "Del Vikings" ---
Who really cares? The Del Vikings are probably dead and gone, but the Beach Boys remain. It was a tribute to some of their influences.
@@swingersonian No One Cares About You Opinion Pal !!
Listen to the Del Vikings... the original signers of Come Go With Me... MUCH BETTER than this poor rendition
