I know the musical director and lead guitar Scott Totten, the are all fine musicians. If you talk about originals Brian hasn't sang the high notes for years, but still has a decent voice. There sound is that of the BB in the 60's. I know they do smaller venues, but the fact that they are still out there is amazing. Bottom line it's the music. Memories of cruising Hawthorne Blvd looking for street racing back in the day... Witch Stand in Englewood to A @ W in Hawthorne.. what great memories. I wish I could have afforded a Chev 409 duel quad beast. What a great sound those big block engines made. What horrible gas mileage too. You could hear the gas sucking into those toilet bowl sized carbs. But gas was cheap, so what the hell. Beach Boys part of the sound track of my youth. Thanks guys.

"409" was brand new and playing on the radio when my brother and I pulled up at the little teen club his band was playing at that night, at Woodstock Park, Jacksonville, Florida ... I can still hear it on the radio in my head, and THAT was a long time ago! THIS, by the way is both an excellent performance AND an incredibly great recording accomplishment.
