I had the honor and pleasure of seeing The Beach Boys live last year at my local Fair. It's a night I'll honestly never forget. Mike Love is doing an amazing job at keeping the bands legacy alive. May their music never die out.
Love seeing the original BEACH BOYS up there including Al Jardine & Brian Wilson. And, whether aware of it or not, Mike Love’s voice continues to sound almost unchanged both in tone and energy! Great to hear and see other fantastic talent there too. 🏖 🌊 🏄♀️ 🎶🎸 🪘 🎤 🎹 🎵

I think had mental health awareness been a lot better back then, Brian would've gotten professional help when he really needed it and maybe not have succumbed himself to drugs, and he probably would still be singing those high parts on this song and doing that cool little dance with the other band members during the bridge of the song
I really do like Brians work. But if some young folks think like that - well, they would be right then. He is not the person anymore he once was. He lost his voice, his skills on the piano are very limited and he obviously can´t write great songs anymore. And there he is sitting on one of the most brutal places on earth where every mistake or every weakness will be noticed. But that´s why every opera singer has to retire when he reaches a certain age, every classical musician has to do the same when his breath or his joints and tendons show signs of aging. It´s sad especially because the main problem was his drugs abuse.

I love the sound(s) and I see Maestro Wilson sitting at the keyboard. But I was just wondering how many freakin musicians does it take to generate the tunes? Looks like two dozen strummers, pluckers, pickers, etcetera on stage. With that many sharing in the gate proceeds , 10000 tickets at US $100 each must have been sold so that each person playing would clear US $1.35 after taxes. Obviously I'm being facetious, but it's not quite the same as the four guys doing it by themselves.

It was family and it was love..John Phillips showed the power of the band with Kokomo..They were the sound that came out when the music played..missing Carl here.. I saw this tour in Tampa with my then 16 year old son. We both marveled at the energy and vibe of the show. They were just incredible.
