I bought one of these and yes, they are helpful for semi hanging. I wonder if you could make additonal videos to work different areas of the body using the bar. I cannot do the pull up ones you do in this video, like the pendulum or the shrugs. Thank you for all the work you do in creating these.
Hi Laurel, we tried to include a bit of variety aside from hanging like mid-back rows and tricep pushes to give the hands a break (because it's certainly challenging for the forearms and grip!). If the full hanging exercises are too difficult, feel free to try them with your feet on the floor/stool, or try similar versions in the semihanging position with the bar lowered. We'll try to think to see if there are other exercises that the bar could be used for!
Great set of exercises Physio Andrea, with the bar down, the exercises are easy but with the bar up,they are quite difficult, any cheat code to master them
Ah yes the full hanging ones are indeed hard! This is an advanced workout, so meant to be on the more challenging side. If you want to try them, you can try the exercises supported by your feet on the floor, however I don't know if that would work for all of the full hanging exercises.
Hi Andrea, thank you for your great videos. Can you possibly tell me where I can buy a pull up bar like the one you use in the video now? I tried the link you provided but the item is no longer available. Thank you.
The shape of the rungs is a personal preference. The space from the wall depends on how far the rungs are away from the wall, sometimes when you step on a rung and it’s too close to the wall, your toes kick the wall
All of our workouts use movements done in neutral spine position, meaning they have minimal bending or twisting, which makes them generally appropriate for spinal fusion. However, we do recommend that you ask your spine surgeon or a health professional if you aren't sure about any movements.
Hello. Is it possible to create a video scoliosis friendly on gym? I have frew gym below my apartment but not sure how to use it in a correct way with my scoliosis condition. I try to find a PT but none of them want to take my offer since they afraid of my scolio
I was wondering if i could lift my whole body up and down during pull ups (i have a very slight curvature of the lumber and cervical region). I have been doing it for about once a week for 3 weeks now. I had intense pain in the shoulder region but now i don't experience it anymore thanks to pull ups so i was wondering if its safe to do because of my scoliosis?
Full pull-ups are generally fine for people with scoliosis because it doesn't include loaded or repetitive bending or twisting of the spine. But, if you're really not sure, or if you get pain in your back when you do lots of pull-ups, please ask a Physiotherapist near you.
These videos are very helpful! Thank you ! 😊 Keep going!
Thank you so much! We appreciate all the likes and shares to help support us!

Could you advice what to look for in buying wall bars for scoliosis ? Are the round rungs and space from wall really necessary ?
The shape of the rungs is a personal preference. The space from the wall depends on how far the rungs are away from the wall, sometimes when you step on a rung and it’s too close to the wall, your toes kick the wall
Is this workout ok for someone with fusion?
