Hi Melissa! I really enjoyed your review and your opinion on the fragrances, but I just wanted to ask if there's a big difference between the EDP and EDT versions. From other reviews I've watched they said that the EDT version resembles the original Aventus more but the EDP has a smoother or refined opening than the EDT. What do you think about this and which one would you recommend?
Been wearing CDNIM for a few years now (my signature scent, for sure 😊) and the amount of compliments I've gotten while wearing it is absolutely insane. I'm a pretty aloof looking individual as it is, but that hasn't stopped perfect strangers (male & female) from complimenting me on my scent. Definitely a must buy if you can pull it off. I'd be interested in seeing a comparison video on Creed Silver Mountain Water vs Club de Nuit Sillage. I have Sillage and I think it's also an absolute banger.

Yo, I have intense man, milestone and sillage. I've gotten a compliment wearing all 3 but sillage wow's the men and women. I get at least 2 to 3 compliments every single time I wear sillage/ SMW people love it and it last longer than SMW and projects very well
When it comes to Aventus it's weak period. I have had a few bottles and it's nice but does not last silage is wack for this price point . Your right for intense I put it on and all the ladies went savage
Just wanted you to know that my scent of the day is Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford. Please if you haven't tried this, you are missing out. This one of my most Complimented fragrances that I own. Please try it. I think you'll love it.
I have a bottle of CDNIM edp and a sample of Creed Aventus. Personally I prefer the scent of the Aventus more due to the scent being very ‘juicy’ to my nose. The natural pineapple gives it an amazing tropical scent and I personally like the musky dry down, I do agree performance is lacking. CDNIM for me is an amazing performer and is strong. I wouldn’t spray more than 5 or else it will start hurting my nose plus the top smells really synthetic and more lemon-y and peppery ‘like lemon pledge’ as a friend of mine says lol. The dry down gets better but the scent overall of the CDNIM is not for me. Bought it over a year ago for 45$ for a 200 ml and I’ve only worn it max 3-4 times. On my nose the scent of CDNIM is just not it and it doesn’t really motivate me to wear it. Its exactly like the feeling I had with Dior Sauvage I bought years ago when I started to collect a fragrance collection. Creed Aventus is over priced, smells good yes but not worth the price point IMO. CDNIM is a steal, smells like a cheaper Aventus (IMO but they smell very similar) and I agree with Melissa 45-50$ is not a big hole in your pocket if you don’t end up liking it. Personally for that price range with Creed Aventus I’d rather get a Parfums de Marly Layton, soon to be added in my collection 😎 thank you for your videos Melissa I recently added Tuxedo and Jazz Club to my collection 👌🏼
I love Jazz Club. It reminds me of my uncle's leather jacket he gifted me before he passed away it still has his cigarette and booze smell on it lol identical to jazz club which was a nice treat. I have several parfums de marly fragrances but have never tried Layton. Do you still like it? How many sprays of Layton do you personally use? I find Carlisle I have to spray about 5 or 6 times in normal situations.
I’ve never received compliments when wearing Aventus. I prefer Al Haramain L’Aventure, Frapin The Orchid Man, or CDNIM regular edp if I want something in that same vein. I’ve received the most compliments with Al Haramain L’Aventure.
Melissa, could you review the CDNIM Parfum Limited Edition? I would love to hear your take on that one. I think it is wild and much better than Aventus objectively. I don't really see any real clone for Aventus on the market. But could you review CDNIM Parfum LE just as its own fragrance release? I am sure you won't regret it.

You finally convinced me to buy a bottle lol. I love the smell of creed but it just doesn't last and it's way to expensive to be buying back to back. Also if anyone else is looking to try the other scent I just left the site and they having a sale💯
My CDNIM is super nice but it doesn't last past 4 hours. Perhaps it's my skin but I've also been told modern batches have been reformulated and aren't as long lasting. Still better than paying for Aventus tho!

Armaf CDNIM gives me the confidence boost. I feel VERY confident wearing it. Knowing I smell of a 350 USD fragrance does it all. Because I do. The whift is literally Aventus. And people can’t know the difference. I smell of a $350 fragrance when I walk out. That makes me feel great.

You speaking facts. My sister told me if she ever gets married her husband has to get this. I love it and it def last about 10-12 hours on my skin. Also I'm curious if you can do a comparison with Mustache and Tuxedo alot of people swear it smells 90% close to it at a much cheaper price tag
CDNIM pure perfume version made in UAE is superb..Citrus in the opening minus the harshness turns into a smoky version in like 15 minutes or so and stays like that for hours and post that musky in the dry down..long lasting on your skin and clothes trust me more than 12 hours for sure..only thing is don’t judge in the first couple of days after buying…unpack the bottle and keep it in a cool dark place for a few days (more time = better performance) and then try it you will be amazed…saying all this based on first hand experience now..love from India …
Club de nuit intense needed to sit on the shelf for a while and let the juices change as it got stronger and the scent profile changed as well no more lemon pledge from the initial first spray this thing is a beast imo and I own creed Aventus as well.
Got my 2019 batch for about 160 dollar (used, 60ml left). Aventus just has that aura that no other clone has. Must have for real fragrance enthusiasts.

I sprayed 4 sprays on my arm at nordstrom the other day with my wife. It was solid for 2.5hrs, skin scent for 2hrs after and essentially gone after that. Absurd to pay 300 for that. Absolutely insanity and silly

I was gifted a bottle of aventus recently (2021, 11Z01) which is regarded as the best batch amongst the fragrances history even with the legendary batch that made it famous. When creed charges this high of a price point I would not recommend it at all due to the lack of consistency and quality control that plagues this fragrance every release. Its pretty much a hit or miss at this point and I would wager most people will not be able to get a good batch without shelling over top dollar on the resell market. Creed has also been bought out by big corp so I would expect it to go downhill here on out. Get CDNIM as it pretty much has the same scent profile and an even better performance, selling for a fraction of the price.
Respect your reviews, but Creed Aventus smells good. Love from women and men! Also you sounded bias from the start of the video. I did buy the sample, so flexing is not what I'm looking for, but the shit smells good, regardless of price!
@@mantaray4834 so I've had it for a couple days now and here is my experience: First off I completely agree with basically everything that has already been said. It smells great, but not when sprayed directly on the skin. There is no doubt a very strong lemony kind of Lysol wipe smell when you first spray it. After that dies down it is very nice and just a solid citrus type cologne. I cannot compare to the creed aventus because I have never smelled it before, but what I will say is that I would imagine that scent isn't as synthetic. You can clearly tell this scent isn't made up of "real" ingredients if you will, and it has an almost chemical type of vibe. Overall I think it's a solid scent but it is not the favourite in my collection. Personally I still would choose Dior sauvage over this any day just based off the "freshness" alone - meaning a real and not synthetic scent. However, as mentioned prior when this stuff is sprayed in the air and not directly on the skin, it has a very nice aroma. Hope that helps!
I’ve only smelled CDNIM Parfum Limited edition,, arguably the worst thing I’ve ever smelled. Never smelled the EDT. Creed just can’t be beat,, gotta save for a flacon for the price to be worth it. But that’s the type of clientele creed wants is people who will drop a rack on 17oz. Thats what I did is buy a 17oz flacon with a 10% off code on creeds official website,, just decant into an atomizer from Michaels. I wanna smell EDT of CDNIM but there’s no point when I can daily drive Creed Aventus from a flacon :)
I saw your comment on another video about getting the pure perfume version of CDNIM. Did you go through with it? How is it? I’m not a fan of the synthetic dry down of the edt. It’s so metallic and bleh… I’m looking at the pure perfume version hoping it’s smoother and removes that synthetic smell on the dry down

CDNIM is the mooove, no way aventus is worth that money now days with how weak its performance is. And if you layer cdnim and mont blonc explorer, explorer will give you that pineapple you are missing

Sillage is great, so is Milestone. Both, IMHO more interesting than CNDIM. Not necessarily compliment beasts (ymmv), but very interesting wears.

I've smelt a lot of clones of aventus. By far the highest quality is from parfums vintage. Emperor maximus is favorite

Owned and hated CDNIM. That lemon smell is so off-putting. Aventus is the far superior scent.

Respect your reviews, but Creed Aventus smells good. Love from women and men! Also you sounded bias from the start of the video. I did buy the sample, so flexing is not what I'm looking for, but the shit smells good, regardless of price!

Also I wear the EDP. It's $50 USD for 200ml. I blind bought and it's my daily driver now. No female I've encountered disliked it.

@@mantaray4834 so I've had it for a couple days now and here is my experience:
First off I completely agree with basically everything that has already been said. It smells great, but not when sprayed directly on the skin. There is no doubt a very strong lemony kind of Lysol wipe smell when you first spray it. After that dies down it is very nice and just a solid citrus type cologne. I cannot compare to the creed aventus because I have never smelled it before, but what I will say is that I would imagine that scent isn't as synthetic. You can clearly tell this scent isn't made up of "real" ingredients if you will, and it has an almost chemical type of vibe.
Overall I think it's a solid scent but it is not the favourite in my collection. Personally I still would choose Dior sauvage over this any day just based off the "freshness" alone - meaning a real and not synthetic scent. However, as mentioned prior when this stuff is sprayed in the air and not directly on the skin, it has a very nice aroma. Hope that helps!
CDNIM, Aventus, and Monte Blanc smell the same. You can blind buy any 3 and be good. I own all 3.
I’ve only smelled CDNIM Parfum Limited edition,, arguably the worst thing I’ve ever smelled. Never smelled the EDT.
Creed just can’t be beat,, gotta save for a flacon for the price to be worth it. But that’s the type of clientele creed wants is people who will drop a rack on 17oz.
Thats what I did is buy a 17oz flacon with a 10% off code on creeds official website,, just decant into an atomizer from Michaels.
I wanna smell EDT of CDNIM but there’s no point when I can daily drive Creed Aventus from a flacon :)
I saw your comment on another video about getting the pure perfume version of CDNIM. Did you go through with it? How is it? I’m not a fan of the synthetic dry down of the edt. It’s so metallic and bleh…

CDNIM is the mooove, no way aventus is worth that money now days with how weak its performance is. And if you layer cdnim and mont blonc explorer, explorer will give you that pineapple you are missing
