Curious if leveling auto brightness how that turned out for you. Traditionally, leaving automations off and setting minimum viable brightness is more battery efficient, but maybe that has changed?
basically turn all the features off and turn the display on low ? might as well buy a cheap smart watch with no featues for half the price , or buy my watch huawei gt2 pro turn all the fetures on and it still lasts 3 times longer than watch 5 ?
@@chivalrous86 I RECEIVED MY 5 PRO ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO AND THE BATTERY DOESN'T LAST CLOSE TO 3 DAYS. IT WAS FULLY CHARGED AND IT SHOWED THE BATTERY LIFE AT 1 DAY AND AND ABOUT 22 HRS. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TURN OFF ALL THAT STUFF. WHEN THEY ADVERTISE IT, THEY NEED TO INCLUDE HOW WE ACHIEVE THAT BATTERY LIFE BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE THAYS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
Huck I had a video suggestion can you make a video ok watch 5 series about the sleep section or mode. Like as per your sleep pattern you get a animal symbol that's suits your pattern best . Can u cover up about all the animal symbols and their description and patterns
Great video Huck, but you forgot the "Hey google" detection for Google Assistent. You better turn that off and press a button instead. It drains your battery really fast.
@@markweaver4424 I can't say that it drains my battery consistently, maybe when it is open in the background after using it or something. Just noticed it one day after two weeks of use. I heard complaints about this from other GW5 Pro users too.
Dam i thought my 48 to 50 hours was sad. Idk how these guys get 3 to 4 days. 80 hours supposedly. And wit AOD . I keep my AOD off and most health to manual and not detect
@@TheLtrain2010 i get like 40 now but it's cool does it's job and o use it religiously. Only other watch that would possible have been my option is the Garmin epix 2 i believe was the model
I will take my tissots automatics and they will last me 10 years without charging (or service) I'll wear the same "stupid" watches and I don't have to turn anything off on them. Or charge them.
Too much territory covered too fast. "You don't need to worry about that" is not a satisfactory explanation. I don't want to turn off everything just to save battery life.

agreed, i feel like battery saver mode should do all this for you, so that you can easily change it if needed.

Yes because battery saver mode sucks if your doing lots of activities

I have Google Assistant on and it hasn't drained my battery at all. I'm on day 3 with 41% left.

Me: I disable all permissions and deny access to the health sensors. Remove every app that I do not use. Always keep in battery saving mode.
That's messes it up for the activity side of the watch. And that's the main reason to have a smart watch

Circular watches look so bad when displaying content , everything gets cut off and you lose a lot of screen real estate
