Got my Watch 5 Pro on Wednesday and charged it to 100%, slept with it for 3 nights, AOD on, O2 monitoring, snore detection, and HR to every 10 minutes. Made it to over 3 days and still had 18%!!! TIP, don't use Google Assistant, it drains the battery faster!
@Emraan Alaqband exactly... i am still wondering how the hell pple say they get that much days, i have it brand new on my wrist with everything set as he said even before watching this video even turned the "hey google" feature off cos i noticed it drains more % of the battery but i have never has more than close to 2 days ever. Am i missing something 🤔? When my watch is full off charger, the batter never states i have more than 2 days.
@juandiegosarmiento137 hi, I have since then switched the watch by getting a new one on another color , and with the same settings, I get 3 days 15 hours on the average till date on that. So may be the first i had came with a factory problem.
Thanks for making the video. So far my experience is that I'd get roughly the same life as my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in terms of battery. I have now turned off WiFi (which I left on on the 4 Classic), but have made no other changes. I'll see what difference it makes. The biggest let down so far is Google Wallet not working at all in Ireland on the 5 Pro, but it did on the 4 Classic.
With the "hey Google" feature enabled, the battery consumption of Google assistant was a staggering 54% !! Nuts. Without it and with every feature enabled like auto brightness, continuous monitoring of everything, WiFi, GPS, workout detection, full sleep monitoring including O² monitoring and snore detection, the battery life is between 26h - 30h for me. I also try to go on walks and workout everyday, so I'm confident I use almost all features daily.
My heart rate is constantly going all day and use it for calls and maps at work and still come home with 85% wayyyyy better then the 4 which wouldn't last half a day. And this watch is beautiful
Hey can you help me please so on my galaxy watch 5 pro I was just looking at something and when I went to settings like your turn on and off buttons are on the left right well mines on the right can you please help me
TY for this. I just got my watch 5pro and was wondering why it was just barely lasting over a day. Going to try your methods to see what kind of improvements I get.
@Maribel O let me know how the watch is doing now as I had most settings off and cannot even get 2 days.. now I have just 10 days to decide if I will return it as I only got it because gal 4 classic had such terrible battery life.

Great! I've subscribed. There are so many light weight reviews but they don't give any details. I had the Huawei GT2 Pro so I'm used to a weeks battery life and need all the help I can get with all the settings. A full, in depth set up video would be fabulous if you have the time.
Pretty much the set up I use, other than Goodnight mode which I have turned on when working - notifications come through on my PC, AoD isn't required. Getting about 4-5 days with a custom watch face with minimal elements and a very efficient AoD design.
I started with the Galaxy Live smartwatch, the one that had a camera in the band. I mostly use Sammy watches but have a bunch of other ones just for some change. Just ordered the Watch 5pro and it'll be my first brand new watch from Samsung
Quality content mate, I just got the 5 pro, an upgrade from the original galaxy watch. You've confirmed a lot of the config I need to run this watch up to 4 days. Pretty powerful watch though, the snore recording, blood-oxy, emergency routines are pretty good things to have. I'm stoked.

I learned the hard way, I think. lol I bought the Gear S3 Frontier Amazon Refurbished for $120 2yrs ago & it still gets 2 days easily with everything on. I decided to get a Samsung Refurbished Watch 4 Classic. It wouldn't last a single day! I immediately put it back in the box & seen Samsung had a trade in Holiday Sale for the 5 Pro. So I traded the 4 Classic for the 5 Pro Grey Titanium. A good Smartwatch should last 2 days minimum, imo. I paid only $140 for the 5 Pro because Samsung gave me over a $100 more than what I paid for my 4 Classic just a few days earlier. lol - That's almost a hack, I have a bit over $230 total in everything
