      He did this alot vs medvedev as well in the AO, seems like he leans on it as a way to tire out his opponents knowing that as they get tired his brains and his opponents exhaustion will help make up for his lacking physicality with his foot problems and his age especially now. Maybe I'm wrong but either way Nadal is a fucking genius there's no denying that.

    • @rooibaard365
      @rooibaard365 2 года назад +1

      RG hero and now he's the goat? If you're a good tennis player then you'll know that Rafa isn't the goat. No disrespect, he's top 5, but he doesn't have the ability of Roger Federer. I'm talking prime Roger Federer. Nadal can't hit the shots that Roger can. Rafa plays the rallies, more defensive and doesn't make many mistakes, which is good. Federer's all-round play, at the net, forehand, serve. Prime Rafa doesn't beat prime Roger. End of.

    • @rooibaard365
      @rooibaard365 2 года назад +1

      Rafa and Djokovic started "shining" when Roger became old, but their tennis don't compare to Roger. Even prime Marat Safin was better for me. I'll even go so far as to put Marat Safin at number 2 Spot. He wasn't consistent and persistent like Djokovic and Nadal, but more raw talent and ability

    Strength of double-hand. A typical winning of Nadal. If you watch carefully, the beginning several hits of Nadal are all double-hand. They are long, deep, and very exhausting for Djokovic. Also it’s on the single hand side, so he had to hit defensively. On the other side, Nadal moves a lot less and saved a lot energy. When djokovic had a breath to make a change, he has almost been exhausted.

    Wasn't this the tournament where Nadal smoked weak era champ in the semis?

    • @Divvy21
      @Divvy21 2 года назад +11

      Didn't know a 4 setter was considered a "smoke". It was 3 hours and 42 minutes. By that logic, Novak got smoked in the quarterfinals a few days ago even though it was a 4 hour and 10 minute match. I don't expect much from keyboard warriors without a job who still live in their parents basement, but some level of intelligence is expected. By the same logic, Roger smoked Djokovic at Wimbledon 2012 a few months later. A 4 setter can not be considered a smoke. However, French open 2008, 2020, 2022 finals are definitely a smoke

      3 grand slams against nadal in the final
      3 grand slams after beating novak in what ever round and 2 of them he beat murray in the final after that in the same tournament !!
      3 grand slams against murray in the final
      4 against andy roddick
      One against agassi
      Weak era champ is the most stupid argument ever

    AO, i'm a Nadal fan but what is the point of this video? It's so random. Nadal also lost this final eventually...

      I do not think you should support yout favorite when they win only.
      I am a fan of Novak and I only hate him when he did not show enough desires or mental toughness.

    ナダル・ジョコビッチ戦は必ずタフな戦いを要求されますなあ。最終第5セットまで行くのは覚悟せんと。(笑)
