    Zverev showed his experience despite being unable to play at his desired level. Rune lacked concentration in key moments which cost him the match I think. Kudos to both players - some absolutely epic shot-making. Really enjoying this year’s RG (bar their highlight videos 😂).

    • @VIRALforYOU2

      I think the experience was the key different today. If zverev was the same age the result would be different.

    • @linusblomberg913
      @linusblomberg913 3 месяца назад +1

      I would say the opposite, Rune was only really winning on being clutch in the bigger moments. You can see that in the break conversation rate and points won.

  • @JuventinoDOC33
    @JuventinoDOC33 3 месяца назад +40

    Great match. Rune played well, but Zverev was sharper in the end and deserved the victory. With his 200 centimeters it is terribly difficult to get the ball past Zverev,. since he covers so much of the field. But besides his height, Zverev is also tecnically a very good tennisplayer. Rune is getting in better shape lately and I feel that he is very close now to the Top 5-6. Probably what he lacks is still something mental. He still tends to get too easily frustrated and when he is frustarted he is not concentrated enough and makes stupid mistakes. He still needs to control his emotions better, I believe. Somtimes Rune seems like a 13 yo boy with puberty issues. His mood changes all the time and I don´t think this does anything good to his tennis. So he needs to grow a little bit more up mentally and as a human being. Because there is no doubt that Rune is a huge talent and potentially could become a Top 3 Player in the world.

    • @stevenkreisel8837
      @stevenkreisel8837 3 месяца назад +3

      Yes the 200cm from Zverev are very good to cover the field and to return Lobs BUT his foot work is crazy good for 200cm Player he can reach stop balls after 4hrs like it’s nothing and that’s why he is in the top 4 and has the potential to be the best player in the world

    • @jenspeterkiel6861
      @jenspeterkiel6861 3 месяца назад +3

      Well analyzed. Although I don´t think the mentality is such a big problem for Holger any more. He has improved a lot. But I he could make some smarter decisions sometimes. For instance at net rallies. Sometimes he is too predictable, and Zverev could just move to the right receiving spot in due time.

    This was the match of the day. I had to go to bed at the beginning of the 4th set as I was exhausted but the level was phenomenal until then and both players were having success.
    Even when Sasha lost a run of points at the end of the 3rd it felt like it was not going to be a routine win for Rune and it appears that's how it went with multiple breaks in the 4th set. Well played to them both!!

    Troppi errori di ingenuità e ripetuti da parte di Rune che pareva potesse anche vincere all'inizio!... Ma si è ostinato a lanciare palle morbide, smorzate, ma che erano troppo lunghe o che Zverev è troppo abile a ribattere!...Ma ha purtroppo per lui ottusamente riprovato con risultati negativi. Ho contato almeno 5 situazioni di questo genere tentate da Rune in modo ingenuo e sbagliato per l'ennesima volta con quelle palle smorzate, quando poteva trovare altre soluzioni più efficaci! Un'occasione persa per Rune!

    Half of the people were leaving the stadium as Sasha took control of the game. The main reason was that Sasha is German. The French wanted to see Rune as the winner because he is the protégé of Mouratoglu. As Sasha took control, they started being ugly and attacked Rune also. When I was traveling with Athletes (I don’t want to tell the sport I was working for) and we had competitions in France, the German team was always banished to the basement to sleep. The French also didn't want the German team to eat in the dining room with all the other teams. We protested, but the hotel staff acted as if they didn't understand what we were saying. This is something that only happens in France! Mouratoglu probably again try to sugarcoat this facts. This is typical french! First they make mistakes and then talk it all over. Worst crowd in the world. Over and out!

    Hut ab. Starke Leistung. Einzige Kritik: Die glasklaren Chancen oft nicht genutzt. Killerinstinkt und teilweise etwas smarter taktisch spielen, oder mitbekommen wenn der Gegner schwächelt und ihn nicht wieder stark machen, wären so Sachen zum verbessern. Aber wer Tennis spielt, weiss das das von außen so leicht gesagt ist, manchmal ist man eben neben der Spur, oder emotional oder oder. Der hat auch noch Diabetes und ist knapp 2 Meter, was einige Vorteile, aber auch Nachteile mit sich bringt. Wir können froh sein, jemanden wie ihn auf dem Level zu haben, so macht Tennis wieder Spaß zu schauen. Ein echter Fighter ist er. Seine Emotionen hat er nach den Ausrastern runtergefahren, was super ist, aber manchmal könnte er sich mehr pushen.
    Good luck gegen De Minaur, das wird nicht leicht nach zwei Matches die zusammen 9 Stunden brauchten. Klar ist er sehr fit, aber das hat ihn schon oft gehindert noch besser abzuschneiden.
    Gegen Nadal in 3 und Rune in 5 Sätzen liest sich schon schräg^^.

Why not showing points from both players, and the set winning point. Really do not get the idea of being done this way. It kills the video interest.

    Yet again Holge "Choker" Rune failed to rise to the occasion. On a match where everyone wants him to beat girlfriend -abuser Zverev. Could not be more disappointing.. 🤨

      Why this accusation? Innocent until proven guilty. And since his ex girlfriend just wanted revenge for losing her extravagant lifestyle, which zverev paid for, there is nothing to prove.

      @@ebu5709 they all repeat the yellow press! None of those coming up with this don't know
      german and can't read the german press, otherwise they would know about the status.
