Did this for a few rounds in the last 2 days . When you get it right what a great shot it produces . I will definitely work on this . Hit some great drives too . Great video and explanation .
Harry, this clicked within 10 minutes for me. I spent the next 2 hours with extremely square contact. This has by far been the most impactful RUclips drill in my game since starting. So simple but cleaned up so much. THANK YOU.
Been working on a lower exit with my hands for a while. This was a great explanation of how the proper swing plane encourages a low hands exit. I’ll be trying the drills. Best!!
Very little instruction seems to be focused on the exit of the swing ie. exit left. I have worked on this exit left swing this past season with moderate success when it comes to consistency. Would appreciate more drills in addition to those in this video to help groove this into the swing! Great video, thanks! Also, the left arm video takeaway seems to have the "Y" breaking down earlier in the backswing with the wrist set. Can you elaborate on how those two intersect?
Hi Harry, fantastic video on the release. Would be helpful if you could share the hip rotation sequence for this release as I tend to be rather unstable doing this release. Either falling over or falling back.
Very insightful. Might be helpful if, in a follow up video, you could focus on how body, head position and shoulders movements could help us blend this into our swing.
Love the content man. Would Live an equally well presented and explained video on hip turn. Better rotation in hips basically. And how to sync it all together. Thanks again.
That's a good explanation, as always Harry! Maybe a good drill I may add could also place a glove under your lead arm (left arm) and prevent it from falling out in the release. At least this helps me I believe.
Watched this video and went immediately to my yard and my 9 iron and started swinging using this information It was definitely a WOW moment The ball flight was amazing…straight I’d like to see this video with the longer sticks 👍 Great video 👍⛳️👍
Hmm….from a physics perspective, not rotating your hands through the hitting one seems like you are taking away a lot of potential speed. The power of the golf swing comes from parametric acceleration, aka similar to cracking a whip…if you were to not break your wrist while trying to crack a whip, you’d have a tough time making the whip crack. And, relying on your core to provide all your speed may work for a very in shape young buck, for the average golfer who doesn’t workout much, rotating the hands is a much easier method of gaining speed in the swing. Finally, if you look at most pros just after impact, their hands are already crossed over indicating they’ve rotated their hands through the hitting zone…

Amazing! This should be talked about more.
Had a lesson on this exact move this week. It transformed my strike unbelievably. Great explanation Harry.

Really clear explanation. How does this technique change for the driver swing if at all? 😊
Good video bro 👊🏼

Great video 👍⛳️👍
Holding off release will slow down clubhead speed, no? Esp for us old guys…
Vinaka
What if you want to swing out to the right to play a draw?
Catch the ball while hands still going out before back in and around…as always.
