Great video, hearing Chris's thoughts on course strategy and management is superb, I wish there was more videos like this from experienced professional caddies.
also relevant to high handicap guys like me, we might chunk or thin a few shots but im going to focus on my shape of golf a soft draw when I hit correctly
I have a technique I use on long par fours where I know I can't get on in two. For the second shot I play the club which (I think) will take me half way. Depending on the result I use the same, one more or one less for the shot to the green.
Great video and great information. Why is it that when you put a golf club in your hands, common sense goes out of the window. Caddy gave perfect information.
Great video do they do a course management courses for us amateur golfers who don't want to be a caddy but would benefit from some of their expert guidance cheers
Love this style of video brilliant 👍🏽👌🏾 The best thing is the language/jargon you use is amateur language that amateurs understand. simple things like calculating downhill slope but so much to takeaway from this video. Thanks
Is a dispersion miss (left/right) from a mid handicapper more common or a distance miss through poor contact (chunking or thinning the shot)? All the videos I've see on yours and others are focussed on where to miss (left, right etc), but how can the average amateur / 10-15 handicapper get consistent(ish) and repeatable distances?
This is great information and what y'all said make since, BUT.......... Where would you set up, on the tee box, playing a fade with trouble on the left? Righthanded golfer!!!! On the same as your trouble and play a fade or the opposite side aming at your trouble with your fade? I was always told to set up on the side of trouble and play your fade or play away from trouble...... What say you???
Shouldn't pin placement on the green be part of the equation? I know when the pins are on the front side of the green, I'd add 10 yards and if the pin is in the back of the green, I'd subtract 10 yards. I'm just trying to hit the middle of the green instead of hitting at the pin.
Distance has very, VERY little to do with breaking 90 or even 80. You have to hit it straight and chip and putt well. Distance is irrelevant because if you can't hit it far there are more forward tees to play from! Sadly, most guys feel that they "have" to play from the tips, which is ridiculous and slows down play for those of us playing the correct tees for our ability/length.
Of course we're gonna take the 3 wood out. Drive fast, take chances😂 I used to play baseball every Sunday and I didn't dream about taking a base on balls. I don't care if it's not possible. A birdie used to be impossible too. If i blow it I'll forget about it by next week.
How did he handle caddying for Hatton? That bloke is a phsyco...his little tantrums and swearing etc at the Dubai championship last week was an absolute disgrace...can understand why this caddy isnt working for him now.
Love the content but I can never respect a man who tucks his cuff behind his watch. Before the trolls comment, I own several luxury watches, including Rolex.
*Chris is back! I play a hole as a 10 handicap golf with a max drive of 240 yards. This is his blueprint!*

Brilliant. I’m no where near the level of golf seen here but I’m sure I’ve learnt a lot from this video.
So good to hear!
Fantastic video - great stuff Alex.
Glad you enjoyed it
personally I would hit a 7 wood to get near the green on the second shot to have a short pitch for par😊
Very good insight how to play a hole by a pro. By the way I love your bag. Thanks for producing this.
Appreciate it!

Much appreciated martin glad you like it! Do you prefer the long on course tips then?
This is so interesting and makes so much sense. Problem is, will I listen to myself on coarse? If only I could take one swing thought out with me🤯
You have to start bringing this into your game!
Great advice. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Great video Alex.
Glad you enjoyed it

Poor contact for sure! Great question, sooo many of these videos coming up for you. ❤️🙌🏼

3 x 8 irons. 1 putt.

Interesting video, very informativ, just like it 😀

All due respect, I'm going for it from 235 haha
Depends on the player
haha fair enough... but...how many times you hitting the green mark?
