woodturning a bowl of ash crotch piece with bark inclusion

I made a bowl out of a ash crotch piece with bark inclusion with bark inclusion.
About eight months ago I sawed a piece of ash into a bowl blank and set it aside to dry.
I recently made a bowl from this piece of wood
I finished the bowl after the two layers of sealer had cured with friction polish.
The bowl has a diameter of 27 centimeters and is 12 centimeters high

I'm actually hoping to find some ash logs around here so I can do more with it. Just did an ash bowl with dye and embellinshing wax. This thing looks way better than mine. Good job!

Hello Chris, yes some types of wood are not widely available everywhere, but I am quite sure that where you live there are types of wood easily available to you that I envy, you have to make the best of what you have

Thanks Mike, although it is usually more challenging to turn crotch pieces, but it gives a great result
