Brotha.. I've tried so many different settings and then I tried yours and I can say Ive finally found the setup that works for me.. thank you bro seriously
I am glad that I have followed along with this video because me and my brother tried out your settings and it felt phenomenal when drifting and driving.
I have been using assetto corsa for years and never find any config as good as this, 100% recommended for any one! I higher a bit the force in kerbs but just personal preference, big thanks dude
i gave those settings a try annnnnd, it really helped me in the right direction. buuuut, im gonna say that they are defo for drifting and not so much for racing. IIIII'm pretty new to the game and race sims, the T150 is my first wheel after a logitech.... MOMO. for drifting, something i cant do in games or real life, i see how these settings work for it. they hold the steering wheel in place and let you feel at what angle the from tires are in. But for racing and driving there is no street feel, break feel, and steering break up. (maybe because the sliders were all turned down, im shocked!!) in the logitech menu turning off the dampers was a great tip, but in game i rather turn the AC gain down a bit and upppp the road feel sliders in the AC settings. and for the CSP FFB settings i like the "basic" box checked. this made the FFB feel more jittery and less wavy. more skippy and less bouncy. Thanks for helping me get this far.
I’m glad they helped! The extra affects are definitely personal preference. Like I explained, I have them turned down to muddy up the FFB any more being a weaker servo. I do actually race with them as well, but you could definitely increase the road feel and such when racing as another preset
Worked great up until about the 3:00 mark. The control settings. I don't have that on my PC. I couldn't find it on Steam, nor could I find it in ACC. A better explanation might be in order. Thanks!
Are the other settings in FFB Tweaks working if the extension is not active? Also, what's the value for wheel peak torque? It's kinda hard to see it in the video. Thanks!
@@Kouki413 so basically, for example, the MacPhearson setting and the gyro implementation setting are active even though the "Basic" tick setting is not active?
Look forward to hearing how it works for ya! They’re very beginner friendly. If you want the wheel on the heavier end for better realism, you can increase the minimum force
Great settings. Actually had spring on to make it heavier but slowed the wheel rotation down too much for me to be able to drift VDC cars. Still I have to help the wheel in transitions or I'll just spin out. In theory I feel like having less rotation would make the wheel seem faster since it needs to rotate less.
That’s definitely a method you can use, I’m just big in realism, so I’m always against decreasing rotation. Cars like CDC, DCGP, etc are definitely very challenging on wheels like the TMX and other weaker servo wheels because they just don’t spin fast enough on their own
I'm struggling with the vdc cars as well.. on transitions the rear end loops out constantly.. if you find a way to manage it I sure would love to hear about it
Leave it unchecked. It doesn’t disable all the tweaks in that menu, it’s its own independent setting. If you check it, it will decrease the base force in cars with McPherson strut suspension designs such as E36s and S-chassis. This can be offset in race by raising the force for the car, but it’s easier to just leave it unchecked
You’re Welcome! I actually don’t play Forza Horizon unfortunately. The physics are honestly terrible sadly. I use AC for real life practice, so I don’t venture far from it. I will most likely do settings/tuning stuff for the next Forza Motorsport though. I can refer you to TURBOxMOOSE or The Doc Drift on RUclips for settings.
@@Kouki413 noted! I agree, the FH physics are trash which is why I hoped you had some settings 🤣 ill certainly be on the look out for FM8 video eventually. DLing AC tonight. Hopefully these settings on tmx transfer to console.
Exact same. These settings arent fully biased towards drifting aside from the outside affects like road feel and such. Those can be turned up when road racing to increase tire/road/wheel feel. For drifting on a lower power wheel, you have to keep the FFB as clean as possible, hence them being at zero. Keep in mind, when they’re at zero, those affects are still active. Raising them merely magnifies them more.
The NRG sim wheels helps a lot with feel and inputs, while not straining the servo motor as it weighs slightly less than the TMX wheel. As far as rotation speed though, that’s unfortunately the nature of the TMX. It’s a great entry level wheel, but takes some diligence when moving upwards to a more competitive based mods like VDC. You can always crank the minimum force up, and adjust the FFB strength per car, as each pack usually has a slightly different feel and FFB multiplier in the data
It’s great for grip as well! I race Spec Miata’s a lot when I’m not drifting. Don’t forget you can and should always adjust each individual cars FFB as needed 👍🏻 As far as my wheel swap, I have a full video on the swap, talking about my NRG Innovations Sim Wheel, and more here: TMX AFTERMARKET WHEEL SWAP | NEW NRG INNOVATIONS SIM WHEEL!!! I released this with drifting as the main focus, but I use them for both racing as well, such as spec Miata racing. Only thing I recommend is raising the road feel and such for racing so you get for road, brake, and tire feedback. With drifting, I have all that turned down so the FFB and self steer doesn’t get muddied down with extra inputs

Make sure you assign them to there axis’s under “axis” in content manager. I did not cover input assignment as this is a settings video, not a setup guide. I assumed setup is pretty straightforward and universal.
It sounds like you’re either clicking on the wrong plug-in, or your PC isn’t picking up your wheel as your wheel. Did you download the drivers and such off for your specific wheel off the TM website? You should have a TM Firmware Updater and a TM Program
Press the button on the front of you wheel base. There’s a button that inverts the gas and clutch input. If you have the pedals on the floor, but the button set to invert, you gas will be your clutch
Very easy, but you’ll need an adapter. You can find my tutorial for the swap below with links to everything! TMX AFTERMARKET WHEEL SWAP | NEW NRG INNOVATIONS SIM WHEEL!!! (Link for adapter in description) m.ruclips.net/video/HolSG_vdsMc/видео.html
It completely depends on your budget and your platform. The TMX Pro is a great wheel, but does have a very weak servo for getting into more serious sim drifting/racing, so the wheel rotation is very slow compared to others in the market. If you’re on Xbox, I would recommend the Thrustmaster TX Leather If you’re on PS, I would recommend the T300RS On PC, the options are whatever you can afford.
Whenever I’m in neutral or really any gear for that matter playing my rpms will be super high and it makes the game hard to play anyone know why this is?
I’ve tried these settings and they feel good but ffb is way too strong at 90% to drift with for me.. is it suppose to be like this or what ffb range do you recommend per car? Thanks
It’s supposed to be like this. The wheel should have some weight, should self center and self steer reliably. The FFB shouldn’t be anywhere near too strong at 90%. I use these settings, and turn up the FFB per car to upwards of 115, and the T150/TMX still doesn’t have an accurate amount of rotation speed/strength
@@Kouki413 Thanks for letting me know, I had a LUT enabled so I disabled it and it did feel better! I guess its just a matter of getting used to it, i do see myself having to turn down FFB to around 60 which still gives me a strong enough feeling to recenter and its smoother, since im still basically learning how to drift haha. Not sure if thats what i should be doing or if i should just keep it at 90 like you and get used to it that way lol
hi when i try to do the setting when i press my gas pedal is say it the clutch and when i use the clutch it says im using the gas pedal and this is only happening in content manger and my wheel is a t150 please help me
Hold the button on your wheel base and make sure that you’re not running an inverted pedal mode. If it’s the same as the TMX, the light will be Red for the pedals laying flat, and green if using the pedals inverted
Does the pc part of changing the settings keep how I change them when I plug my wheel to the ps4 for Asetto Corsa? Because for pc you need to change to ps3 switch and for ps4 obv the ps4 switch side
No settings will change going from PC console. Each version of the game from different sources will save its own settings you set, the settings are in the game, they don’t follow the wheel. So CM will retain its own settings, base AC on PC through steam will retain its own settings, and your console game will retains its own settings to whatever you set them to. I hope that answers your question!
I can say it does work, but I personally don’t have experience with windows 11 as I’m purposely still on 10. I did have an issue initially on my PC with getting my wheel to recognize as a devise. If the PC does see your wheel as a devise, Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Thrustmaster program
You’ll have to stick with utilizing the in game FFB settings and how the console calibrates the game and your wheel. Console AC is very restrictive and honestly just not good sadly.
I can't even get my computer to recognize it... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: How on earth do you pin it to the task bar? I've installed it, and nothing like that ever shows up. I've only gotten the flappy pedals on the wheel to work. Nothing else does. =(
As far as pinning to the task bar, just find it in your programs menu and right click, then select pin to task bar. Regarding the other part, your saying you can get your PC to recognize your wheel at all? Make sure it’s plugged into a standard USB port, not a 3.0 (just to nix that possibility) and try multiple ports. Then go into your settings and make sure it’s showing up in devices. Once you do that, as long as it shows up, it should be as simple as downloading the TM application and firmware updater. Then update the firmware, then the software in the TM app. Your keybinds for the wheel will be set per game. If you still have issues after this with the PC recognizing inputs from the wheel or the wheel completely, it might be a wheel issue.
If on console (I hope not), it would automatically recognize the input and sync, then select it in options. If on PC, make sure it’s connected via usb and does the wheel check calibration (spins side to side) like it would on console. This means the PC recognizes it as a device. Then simply follow the instructions I give in the video and make sure the wheel is assigned as an input in content manager.
@@Kouki413 When I have my t150 setup as “wheel” the the control input, it works fine, the steering, clutch, brake, gas etc. but as soon as I start to drive or test the controls, nothing works at all, nun of the controls, nothing.
It made the driving experience even worse for me. Sure, I can finally move a car, but now my steering wheel wants to have a mind of its own. Sorry, but I gotta give you a dislike, chief.
What do you mean “a mind of its own”? Lol Like self-steer? Like it tries to steer and correct itself in drift? And self-steers through transitions? Because if so, that’s LITERALLY how it’s supposed to be, and exactly how it is in a real car too bud. I’m not being rude by this, but have you ever drifted or even driven a real car? I just find it interesting you’re literally the ONLY person that I’ve spoken with that has said it somehow made your experience worse.
@@Kouki413 You know, that could be a "me" problem. I've been trying to find the smoothest settings possible. But for some reason on often occasions, when I "slightly tap on the gas, i'm going too fast when I'm trying to understand the track, or when I try to turn slightly without getting off the road, it doesn't want to turn. And if it does, it just spins out. I should've been more specific, but instead I lashed out and gave you an unfair unlike due to my fustration of my incompetence. I REALLY want to enjoy sim racing, and I REALLY want to get better at it.
That’s okay man, I understand So I’m trying to follow what your saying, it seems like you’re having an issue with over rotation? Drifting is a lot of pedal work, and understanding the car and it’s limits, and grip level. In real life, when new people are starting, we have you start with doing basic countersteering donuts. So you’ll cut the wheel, gas up, dump the clutch, let the wheel spin and from correct, then you’ll modulate your throttle and steering inputs to maintain a literal drifting donut (drifting in a circle, different than a normal parking lot donut). Once you have a feel for that, you’ll move to attempting controlled figure 8s, then work on handbrake 180s, then start mixing it all together until you can do them consistently and confidently. Then start on smaller tracks with lower power cars (I recommend Fumi, DISL, or WDT Street with the boost down) and focus on completing turns, the linking turns. When you mess up, stop for a second, think about what happened and why it happened and try again. I promise it’ll click, just be patient. I’ve been doing this for over a decade, it takes time, I promise. Snag these settings, grab those packs, and follow these instructions and you’ll get there
Then make sure your DirectX 12 version is actually up to date. Uninstall the all TM drivers and reinstall. If that doesn’t remedy it, you might want to reach out to TM customer service

If it’s the one on the bottom right in that menu, make sure you turn on that section via check box
What’s the axis settings my wheel turns but the car won’t
Axis in CM is 0-100, you want full range.
Make sure the input is being recognized in the TM software manager
@@Kouki413 sorted it thank you
wheel doesn't work when I start driving?
Make sure it’s registering as an input on your device, then map it as the input device for steering
@@Kouki413 When I have my t150 setup as “wheel” the the control input, it works fine, the steering, clutch, brake, gas etc. but as soon as I start to drive or test the controls, nothing works at all, nun of the controls, nothing.
map?
Why does your UI look like that and mine look cramped
Different Aspect ratio of my monitor vs your monitor/TV
I dont feel any force feedback after these settings though.
Edit: I fixed it.
Good to hear!
how did you fix?
@@destaCS2 I don't remember to be honest sorry.
i need help
Did these exact settings and now nothing works
Then you messed something up somewhere. Make sure everything is connected and reading in the TM control panel.
It made the driving experience even worse for me. Sure, I can finally move a car, but now my steering wheel wants to have a mind of its own. Sorry, but I gotta give you a dislike, chief.
What do you mean “a mind of its own”? Lol
Like self-steer?
That’s okay man, I understand
So I’m trying to follow what your saying, it seems like you’re having an issue with over rotation?
Snag these settings, grab those packs, and follow these instructions and you’ll get there
@@Kouki413 lol
My pedals are combined. How to remove this setting?
Unassign all the pedals, reassign each input
When I try to install drivers it says my direct version is out of date even tho I have direct x 12
Make sure you downloaded the correct drivers. There’s different ones.
@@Kouki413 Im downloading the one that pops up when I go to my wheel and still nothing
Then make sure your DirectX 12 version is actually up to date. Uninstall the all TM drivers and reinstall. If that doesn’t remedy it, you might want to reach out to TM customer service
