Still shooting my invasion too. I just can't justify a new bow when this one shoots so well. I noticed some peeling on one of my limbs this summer. Took it to the local dealer and bowtech mailed a brand new set of limbs in just two days no questions asked. Excellent customer service. When I retire the invasion I will get another bowtech
I also have a Bowtech Invasion. I agree with Ike. And I also have a 27 1/2 inch draw length. It's just a great shooter.Fast, quiet, vibration free, smooth as silk. My only complaint is that the finish has peeled off around the grip. A lot of the Bowtechs with that rubberized group had that problem
Bowtech RPM 360 for me. Took the grip off and wrapped it with paracord. shooting the trophy ridge react one pro sight and dialed in to 100 yards. love the way that bow shoots
my favorite and I'm still shooting today is the bowtech btx 31 once it's perfectly tuned it's a tack driver even from good distances, I've shot the realm sr6 and like it too but still need some more time behind that bow.
Agree on the invasion, I've been shooting my invasion since they came out and I shoot it better than any other bow I've ever had. Its perfectly balanced, fast, smooth, quiet and accurate not much more you can ask for.
My favorite is the Hoyt Nitrum 30 @ 52#. I'm shooting different Bows, also traditional Bows like Bear Montana for trick shooting but I'm still in favor with the Nitrum.
I spent nearly the last 2 years looking for a new bow & none of them felt for me.... I looked at a few of your reviews & the Bowtech RPM 360 seemed like it performed well in your video... I happened to find one for sale on craigslist & the second i drew it back , I could tell that i liked it... After the shot - I paid the man $500...... I like the Matthews Chill R , Prime Ion , Ross Cardiac 31 , Winchester Quicksilver 31 & the RPM.
1. Mathews DXT 2. Bowtech Guardian 3. Mathews Chill X 4. Mathews Halon X 5. Bowtech CPXL Based on draw cycle, shoot-ability, silence/vibration and accuracy. Speed is of little importance if you can quietly place an arrow where want it!
I like my bowtech carbon icon so far I just need to upgrade from the apex and octane accessories it comes with. Rip cord code red Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pointer And a stabilizer that I find that I like Hopefully those will tighten up my groups.
In other words, go a order a Nitrum 34 at your local dealer because there are way to many in stock at Hoyt and with the new models which came out after, nobody wants them anymore. Nothing personal Ike/Hoyt, I'm just thinking loud. ..
Did you shoot HOYT SEVEN 37 ? Do you think used in good shape is worth 415$ ? Where I live prices of compound bows are ridiculous... Cant buy on ebay coz after taxation its not worth it.
HoytArchery 8 I've never experienced hand shock with any Obsession bow. In fact it is one of the most dead in hand bows I've ever shot. Their actually known for being dead in hand. Just my humble opinion and your certainly entitled to yours.
Boundless Obsession I shot one of the new obsessions and it wasnt the most pleasant to shoot. That being said, it was the fastest bow they made at about 350 fps (dont remember the model) but I wouldnt expect any different from a speed bow
Greg here's testament from another Invasion owner. It's a great shooter. Very accurate, fast, smooth draw, quiet with no vibration. But if you get one put some custom strings on it. Makes it even faster
I like them and have hunted with several but I haven't shot one yet that I thought would be a bow that 20 years from now I would still own. The Rival was really close to making the list though.
are you a hunter? I want the most forgiving, fastest, and most compact bow possible! why do you like huge bows?? Mathews solo cam Z7 extreme, helium, and the current version are the best bow ever made on paper. super quiet, super smooth, very shoot able with 28" axle-axle, 7" brace height, 330 fps, and 3.9 pounds. Nobody has those numbers in one bow except Mathews.
@@sticks7971 Right!? Mathew's dominated at that point in time, now they are all the same, no bow maker has a model that blows the others away. I have a new V3 29", nice bow but it's chunky, over engineered and shares the same numbers as the major competitors. It's a less forgiving bow, that's for sure! The only gain is 10 fps, that's it! In ten years!
I think switchback should make most top 10 to 5 list. one hell of a bow. I just picked one up for $350 bucks loaded out.
Hoyt maxxis . Sweet shooter that is older but I believe it will hang with the top bows today
Mathews switchback xt. I have not missed any animal I shot at with it.
I love the Hoyt defiant, going from the spider to the defiant was a big improvement for me.
I like how you explained that you would buy it today and hunt with it and be happy!!!
Still shooting my invasion too. I just can't justify a new bow when this one shoots so well. I noticed some peeling on one of my limbs this summer. Z5 cam on the Hoyt Nitrum series is great. Awesome choice for the number two.
my favorite and I'm still shooting today is the bowtech btx 31 once it's perfectly tuned it's a tack driver even from good distances, I've shot the realm sr6 and like it too but still need some more time behind that bow.
Iam looking at the btx 31 myself seems like pretty good one and fast shooting
Couldn't agree more..the invasion is what me made me fall in love with archery/bowhunting
Nice lineup. Thanks for the video!
Agree on the invasion, I've been shooting my invasion since they came out and I shoot it better than any other bow I've ever had. Its perfectly balanced, fast, smooth, quiet and accurate not much more you can ask for.
Mathews switchback #1
for me its still got to be the RPM360. sold and setup so many and they're all such sweet shooters.
I still love my Z 7 Extreme...
My favorite is the Hoyt Nitrum 30 @ 52#. I'm shooting different Bows, also traditional Bows like Bear Montana for trick shooting but I'm still in favor with the Nitrum.

You left out the Obsession Knightmare one of the all time nicest shooting bows in my opinion.
Greg Kurtz I got quite a bit of hand shock wen I shot this.
He missed it,Bear Motive
So why do you like the Invasion better than the Carbon Spyder 30? I'm interested in either the Invasion, a Carbon Spyder Turbo, or 34.
Greg here's testament from another Invasion owner. It's a great shooter. Very accurate, fast, smooth draw, quiet with no vibration. But if you get one put some custom strings on it. Makes it even faster
Ike,, I am wondering why you left out the prime bows that you reviewed and said you REALLY enjoyed ? just curious
I like them and have hunted with several but I haven't shot one yet that I thought would be a bow that 20 years from now I would still own. The Rival was really close to making the list though.
Do you think the new cenergy would be a better choice to buy over the Rival?
Hoyt maxxis
for me bowtech boss but its the only bow i have shot
Hoyt Rambo High country sniper Darton Huntsman bowtech vtf bowtech assassin
I loved my bowtech assassin good shooting bow
What's your feeling on bow tech assassin
It's a good bow. Nothing really game changing about it though.
What about Mathews halon
Marrio Vverrd never shot one.
You should have gave the years the bows came out.
The Invasion was out in 2011 and 2012
carbon 34, no cam,
bowtech reighn
are you a hunter? I want the most forgiving, fastest, and most compact bow possible! why do you like huge bows??

I am old. Pushing 40. My first bow was almost 50in long so a 34-36inch bow is short by comparison.
Ike's Outdoors You aren't that old! I'm 37, I won't call myself old till 55 at least!
Good hunting!
Im a hoyt guy . But those are insanely good numbers on that Matthews.
@@sticks7971 Right!? Mathew's dominated at that point in time, now they are all the same, no bow maker has a model that blows the others away. Where is the Hoyt carbon Matrix your list sucks
That's why I titled it My favorite bows. I have never owned a carbon matrix so I couldn't included it
