- Looking for a simple and quick recipe for breakfast or dinner? Then you’ve come to the right place! Today we will prepare an incredibly tasty and hearty layered lavash.
The combination of tender cottage cheese, juicy tomatoes, and aromatic greens, baked under a cheesy crust in lavash, creates a unique flavor that will leave no one indifferent. This dish will be a true discovery for those who love to experiment in the kitchen.
This dish is perfect for those who value their time but don’t want to give up delicious and healthy food. In just a few minutes, an aromatic and juicy breakfast will be on your table, energizing you for the whole day.
Ingredients:
Eggs - 3 pcs
Vegetable oil - 20 ml
Italian herb mix, turmeric, paprika - to taste
Milk - 150 ml
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Tomato - 1 pc (sliced into rings)
Hard cheese - 140 g (grated)
Armenian lavash - 4 pcs
Cottage cheese - 200 g
Butter - a few pieces
Spinach
Preparation:
1. In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, salt, and spices. Mix well.
2. Slice the tomato into rings.
3. Heat the skillet and grease it with vegetable oil.
4. Place a sheet of lavash in the skillet.
5. Pour a few spoonfuls of the egg mixture onto the lavash and spread it evenly over the surface.
6. Place the sliced tomatoes on top of the lavash.
7. Add salad leaves (spinach) or any other greens.
8. Place another sheet of lavash on top.
9. Again, pour some of the egg mixture over it.
10. Add cottage cheese and grated cheese on top.
11. Cover with the final sheet of lavash.
12. Pour the remaining egg mixture over the top.
13. Place a few small pieces of butter on top.
14. Put the skillet on low heat and cover with a lid.
15. Cook on low heat for about 7 minutes.
16. After 7 minutes, flip it to the other side.
17. Cover with a lid and cook for another 7 minutes.
