  • I've been practicing meditation for over a year now and I can confidently say it's become the most important self-care/mental health/self-development practice for me. This video shares some of the insights I've learned from this past year along with the different techniques I've tried. Hope this encourages you to try it out for yourself and drop a comment if you do! Sending love and peace y'all.

Meditation is relatively new to me, I've heard about it many times but never tried it. Your video is the first one that is really comprehensible, well structured and makes me want to try it out :) Thank you for your great work!

Thank you for all the experience you share on your channel ! It’s been a long time since I’ve started to meditate, but never really been consistant (except for yoga). Recently i’ve got back pain due to sport, and had no choice but to reduce yoga a lot. I’ve started to meditate each morning, a little bit at a time as you advice ;) i feel like even a 5min or so meditation is enough just to ground you to start your day, so it can be accessible to anyone. I love your videos (and your editing) :) I send you a lot of love 🙏

I practiced meditation for a long time during a rough period in my life and later fell out of the habit of practice. Watching this video makes me miss it and I thank you for sharing your experience!! Great video

Thank you for this video, Deanna! I can relate. I've discovered that, for me, not wanting to meditate actually means not wanting to feel what I feel. So I tend to just push through, distract myself with productivity until at the end of the day I feel completely stuck. I've been aware of this... but you have made me a little bit more aware of it and help me to see that 'this is it'.. it's so easy to sit and meditate when you're already in this mindful peaceful flow. It's way more difficult to go sit down when you're feeling anxious and restless. But I believe and have experienced in the past that these emotions need to be seen, they need to be heard.. and felt! In order to calm down. Instead of pushing them away, judging and adding frustration to the mix. Thank you for the gentle nudge again... towards a better day and a healthier mind. Also, the end of your video made my day :')

Thank you for the video. I went through a tough time in my life during the last months. Meditation helped me through this, and still does. It allowed me to connect with myself again.

I’m back at meditating and this video explains so well why. Thank you for all the videos, I will watch many of them more than once.
If you don’t want an app with a subscription, but you do want quality, you could try buddhify. You pay only once. It has meditations for all sorts of occasions, which makes it easier to integrate it into your life. Like the walking meditation, but also for communting, being in nature, behind your computer. It works for me to add those to the regular sitting still with aching back ;) Because that used to be the problem, that meditation became a separate area of my life, but didn’t go beyond that. I’m currently at 10mins, sloooowly increasing.
