6 Habits to Win Life

- FOCUS is my theme this year. I have some hairy audacious goals that require a tad bit of focus. I think I can cultivate more focus with effective habits so I've chosen 6 that have worked wonders for me in the past and can use a little more work this year. Open invitation to anyone who wants to join!
The 6 habits are:
1. Exercise - break a sweat 5x a week (Sweating is important! Gotta push yourself!)
3. Eat clean - limit refined sugars and processed foods; eat more whole foods
4. Intermittent fasting - there are different schedules; I'm interested in 16 hour fasting
5. Meditation - meditate daily; start small and build; I'm trying to get to 1hr daily
5. Learn - learn something new every day; quiero aprender español :)
6. Wake up early - a starting point could be an hour earlier than you do now
I'm really excited to build these habits and share the experience with you. I hope it encourages you to try them out yourself or pick them back up if you're on a break, no shame there! Drop a line if you do!

A habit I'm working on right now is limiting my time on my phone and computer. I enjoy reading the New York Times each morning digitally, I check email, and then I'm done with tech except for the GPS and phone/text messages for the day. Tech drains my energy rather than replenishes it, so limiting tech time is giving me more time for real experiences on my own and with friends.
