For everyone questioning the use of an ATF fluid in the manual transmission. Chrysler recommends an ATF+4 fluid in the Hellcats with a manual transmission. Even the older Vipers used a Dextron II or III ATF fluid in their manual transmission. Our Multi ATF product has much higher shear stability than the OEM fluid and really helped the Viper crowd on the track. Should work just as well in this high-horsepower application!
How can i order Motul oil for my truck i have an f150 5.4 .
Really like that you guys sponsored this guy. Good job motul.
Us older people knew it took heavier fluid in the gearbox, probably due to manufacturing tolerances of the time and the high load on the gear train.
Does the Motul 0W-40 carry thee SRT Spec approval for warranty purposes with Dodge? @Motul USA
Interesting why Chrysler would use such a thin oil in a Manual transmission
One thing caught my eye being a former Chrysler/Dodge service writer, technician, plus owner of an SRT 300, and RT Challenger - Maybe I missed it, but it looks like all the front, under engine splash guards didn't get put back. Speaking from experience, if those splash guards aren't there, every time you hit a puddle or you drive in rain, your whole engine bay gets nasty as heck. It will splash all on top of the engine, and underside of the hood even. Shorted out one of my OEM HID ballasts too because they are located under the headlights, so without the splash shield, water gets sprayed directly on them and the connector. They are supposedly weatherproof, but I guess eventually water gets in. The best reason to put them back though, is that the car gets a lot of rattles in the front end without the shields. They are designed as part of the reinforcement of the front bumper, and fenders. Beautiful rebuild though. You got a lot of patience, and great video editing too. Appreciate you.
It does my heart good to see such a beautiful car brought back from the dead like this. This has really been an enjoyable series to watch, thank you for sharing.
7:48 watch the reflection of the clouds moving across the windshield during the cleanup. Artistic touch!
2:44 "Looks like when somebody tickles your neck." God you crack me up!
Remove the fill plug on the trans to vent, drains much faster. Time to get PAID! Thanks for the ride...
Correct. What if the fill plug is stripped? You are in a big world of hurt.
The same with the differential.Pull the fill plug FIRST.
That was awesome. Thanks for filming it for us. It looks brand new!
Man what a beauty !!
Old mechanic's rule of thumb: NEVER pull a drain plug without first pulling the fill plug. Reason: If there's a problem removing or getting to the fill plug, at least you still have a full case and can still operate the vehicle.
could you not just fill it from the dip stick if that was the case an the fill plug was stuck
@@Facchini98 Maybe, but checking the fill plug takes 30 seconds, do it even if you have a way to go via the dip stick, why risk it.
@@JeffOnTheTubes no of course i was just curious because i know some older cars you could do that i was not sure if maybe these newer muscle cars where different
@@Facchini98 manual transmissions, differentials, transfer cases and etc. do not have dip sticks. Usually on automobiles, engines and automatic transmissions are the only units with dip sticks. Besides, "mechanicking" is more than automobiles. Farming, mining, construction and other heavy equipment, still require the same attention to detail and care.
There would be no dipstick on anything that has a fill plug in the first place. If there was a dipstick there would be no fill plug. LMFAO
Alex, like with every rebuild you do, "WOW". Great job! Thanks for sharing your work with us.
Flawless man, great job on this car!!
Thanks for sharing this journey! Awesome to see these cars come back to life!
Hey man, need to put some champagne into that OJ - congratulations on a gorgeous rebuild!!

Champagne into OJ... You mean a Mimosa?
God save the alex , love to watch your videos so much you doing things , everybody else is just talking BLA BLA BLA , keep it guy and you be on top.
This is my favorite build that I have seen you do so far. Simply because of how well the color turned out. It looks amazing. Congrats on the sale!
Its just so cool watching the time lapsed clouds reflect off of the front window when he is washing the car.
I remember when I first saw ur channel in trending with 15k subs. You've come a long way and the car looks great!
The Hellcat turned out purrrrrrfect! ZL1 Camaro

Hey great channel Alex...the only criticism i would add is...I get impatient waiting for updates for each car...but this baby is a beauty...great job and no cutting corners.
Needs a small tweak to the hood gap n the front edge.
What an awesome job Alex! Looking forward to your next project car here
This was a great series and the results are perfect! I would like to get info about how the repairs affect the title, inspection status, things you have to do to get the paper work as straight as the frame etc. Thanks, Chris
Damn, imagine the owner sees this lmao, he gonna want it back
There is something really relaxing and soothing about watching your video's...
I think its your "can do" and always positive and pleasant attitude to everything you do.
Keep up the great work.,.. :-p
Thats awesome, the fact that the air bag lights came off when you installed the new ones is awesome.

ZL-1 camaro!
Beautyfull Hellcat Alex, this rebuild was awesome, all perfect, OEM, and the blue color just nice and shiny.
I live in Georgia and I wish I had someone like you to troubleshoot my engine.
Learning a few things by watching your videos, but I don’t think I can use most of the information on them because my vehicle is a little older.
Nice work.
Lol looks like someone has been doing burnouts!
I think it was in the vid for part 9, he had her spinning all the way into 3rd, I think...check it out!
Myk SilentShadow no part 9 has no burnouts 🤷🏻♂️ but sure as f would love to see rubber burning on that beast, What a disappointment
@@Zozik333 thats why i said "i think it's in part 9" i know i did see it happen
@@Zozik333 Dunno if you checked, but it was in part 9...check here with appropriate time stamp to show it off ruclips.net/video/5rhrv29Xf8E/видео.html
Porsche GT3 RS is next!! Thats my guess

Alex, I almost never comment on RUclips videos that I watch, but I have found you to be a really cool dude and just had to tell you that! You are a hard worker and your videos are never about your ego, but they are always about the project and providing your viewers great video content. So, kudos to you and your channel. Just keep them coming and I'll keep watching, liking and sharing.
So awesome man, you keep inspiring me to rebuild something. Keep up the nice work!
Hey, I am from France and I really enjoy yours videos. Can I ask you one thing, at the end of repairs, à list of all prices,
Cost of the vehicle
Cost of parts
Total costs ?
I wish all young kids would watch your video's and realize that the American Dream is possible if you are willing to work hard enough for it.
That’s in any country
I’ll second that! Keep at it Alex your generations ahead!
@@mrcwoodworks4523 Yah, that's why western countries have so much immigration. Because everyone in the world has the same opportunity wherever they are born. I'm guessing you are from a "have" country. roll eyes
@ Don & 12M As a person who has traveled the world 4 times and seen pure poverty to pure wealth, You are EXACTLY RIGHT! If you want it you can get it. You just have to put your mind to it, and DO IT! The world is full of Rags to Riches people who wouldn't take no for an answer. Keith Noneya
By far the best rebuild videos.Congratulations Alex with all this detailed work,
Awesome to see her all back alive! I hope that the person that gets her respects her and she never has to go back through this again. Thanks for sharing her rebirth! You did a tremendous job! I would trust you on a project for me.
the gap between the front bumper and engine hood is too much. maybe it needs a little adjustment at the hood hinges IMO
Is WiFi checking up on you? Are you doing a GT ?
Beautiful job Alex. I’d buy it in a second you’ve been through it top to bottom.
Great work Alex car looks amazing 👍. I feel like the next build will be a viper to keep the dodge theme rolling, or a corvette c7 or something along those lines.
Ford f250 is next
Mustang is next
Great Work and Beautiful Result Once again Alex... Really enjoy your videos buddy! Keep it up!!
Wow! Absolutely stunning! If only they made cars like that were available in the UK. Watching this particular build makes me want one. First class job, second to none 👊🏾 Somebody is gonna get a stunning car!

Wait, ATF in a manual trans car?
Thats what a tr6060 calls for.
T56 takes Dex3.
Damn son! I didn't know brand new paint can be improved but i guess proved me wrong, that coating is some cool stuff bro. And what an awesome job on the car, wish I was a mechanic capable of going a rebuild like this, I truly envy you Alex. Keep up the good work!
Nice work, and unlike a lot of other RUclips "builders", you did it right! I'm sure your buyer will be very pleased to have video documentation of what was done. It might even help his resale value down the road!
huh? Multi ATF for a manual box?
Look it up, atf is what a tr6060 uses
