Good idea with the RF hub placement. I built a shelf and placed mine above the spare tire. Once you figure out the rear door wiring, everything will work like normal. The front doors with the modules and sensors are more of a PIA. The easiest placement for the camera is on the rear bumper above the license plate. Use the charger OEM outer bracket. It’s not perfect, the camera aims a little bit high. The perfect spot in the third brake light location. But that requires more modification and wiring. Dodge magnum swap is the most complicated swap of all Dodge LXs. Welcome to the club.

Since no one really ever sits in the back of my car I’m going to remove the anchors and permanently attached them to the frame with the 2015 plastic inserts. I’m also installing an air ride setup so I won’t be folding my rear seats anymore. I removed the staples on the side bolsters like you did and fits perfect.

Good information. I had to modify the brake booster mounting for My 2006 Magnum. Dodge must have change the bolt pattern in 2008. So anyone interested in a magnum swap, source a 2008.

The side airbag curtains will also bolt right in. The magnum headliner covers it no problem. The dome light thing may need to be swapped as well as sun visors. Swapped on mine, but I don’t remember if it was necessary. How did you wire the taillights? The constant power to the charger center light can be tricky.

The rear seat fabric is held by rings… all you have to do is use the back support from swap the foam and you are golden… oh they latch different so I just cut a slit

I have a 2005 awd 5.7 . If i want to swap the engine to a srt or hellcat motor, do i need to to change the whole interior harness? Cause i dont mind keeping my original dashboard and rest of the interior. I just need a new engine and thought i might as well throw in the srt . But not if i have to change the whole interior. It would be dope but thats to much work.

I would just like someone anyone to say what modules you have to have in order to fire up the engine...I am doing a swap but not using any suspension parts ie struts..but probably update to and speed sensors so speedo will work it's a 2018 swap into a 2000 Dakota pu I got dash, engine bay, and floor harnesses charger dash and heater/ac box just need to know bare minimum of modules to get engine to start...any help would be great thanks.

Random question I have a 2010 dodge journey I know (soccer ⚽ mom car) but I think I'm having problems with my ecm I just installed new coil packs and plags and I still have misfire code if I was to get a used or new ecm will it work as soon as I connect it or will I have to get it programmed from dodge dealer??

Bro I told u exactly how to do the swap I don’t have to fab shit only thing is drill holes for the brake booster takes no fab work but head light wire clips and tail light and trunk camera and doors u just use charger parts for the door modules shits not hard at all been done to many times and passenger side seat u have to use the magnum seat rail like I told ya day one

That's a charger with Magnum body pieces molded on, it's cool but it was never a Magnum.
Rear camera can go by the third brake light, put in place of rear wiper nozzle and relocate nozzle to other side of brake light or make a new hole.
Khal, it looks like it would be easier to put that r view camera in the spoiler, to the right of the chmsl/"3 brake light"
The magnums look clean with the rear wiper arm delete…. If you did that you could place the camera in that hole
You can just wire a resistor into the roof airbag plug.
It’ll make the computer think there’s an airbag plugged into it.

Can I use the challenger front & rear cradle on the magnum
Look for a similar fitting 3rd brake light with the back camera in the middle.
The locking bracket for the rear seat back is all you need to make them work. Swap them with the stock magnum bracket.
2 ohm resistors for the curtain air bags.

Use the charger door panels so that the vents work. Then you can use the charger door lock controls and speakers and just repin the window actuator.

i think some of the issues is it's an sxt model and not an rt model - my rt had curtain airbags
