I know it’s an old video, but a friend gave me one of these for Christmas along with the Stanley Coffee Steins and a small survival kit. Anyway, I’m a longtime viewer/subscriber and I figured you had a video on it so I looked it up. Glad you like it. I’m definitely enjoying mine.
Not bad. But you should also check out the Stanley Adventure French Press. Looks like a HUGE GSI Cup but about the size of a Nalgene. AND you can boil your water in it, thus saving a Separate pot.
I love the Stanley brand items . It would be interesting to see how the aeropress coffee maker stacks up to these two. I know it’s a bit different system but similar idea.
stupid question, but does that mean the coffee over brews as it sits at the bottom of the 'flask', or does the fact that it is a 'press' isolate the coffee grounds from the liquid with a layer of air? and if so what happens if the flask is laying on its side in my bag?
This design is so weird how about the coffee bean used remain in the bottom ? U can’t remove it until u drink all the coffee or remove the coffee to another container 🥶what the flask use for ??
Sorry. It's called the Stanley Adventure Cook and Brew Set. 32oz (1 quart), weighs 1 pound, $25 Amazon price. I'm thinking that it's more "Apples to apples" with the GSI press, whereas the Thermos you showed is more "Apples to Oranges". But I can DEFINITELY use the Thermos for work. Thanks Again.
Leslie Kovacs you can’t cook with this one, you have to boil your water and then pour it into the thermos. It’s a different press. They do have the Stanley cook and press however. 😃
I’ve been using one daily since late summer 2017- absolutely love it
got one at walmart $11.00 on the clearance rack love it

Definitely gonna pick up that Stanley now.
Or get the Snow Peak Coffee Press at 6.3 oz.
Nice press. And that’s great warranty support!
Great review brother, totally loving the back to back vids Great weekend to you and the fam-jam
Its similar to the GSI. I remember that vid.

stays at the bottom no matter what unti you empty it
Hey I got me one of them Stanley French press today now you need to do a video on different kinds of coffee and what’s the best for the woods lol
Thanks for video. I prefer keeping my coffee hot to counting ounces. Looks like a good deal to me.
Good review. Thank you for the video.
Aaron I know you dont use cream or sugar, but could you add it in with either of the systems?
is the plastic press inside 1. safe and 2. easy to clean?
Wish the plunger thing was not made with plastic. I don't like the idea of plastic sitting in hot water 🔥
Why the yellow glasses?
creep life they are my safety glasses for shooting and wood work
eu tenho o modelo mais novo... Mas quero muito compra essa ai tem na shopee será
Nice
I actually managed to pick up the Stanley for 9 bucks at walmart, on clearance.
Well I did it.... I ordered it.
Boweimer 1 sweet! Hope you enjoy it
Did you try different sized grounds on either of these? I.e. does one work better with finer ground coffee than the other?
David Brasfield the finer the grounds the harder to depress the plung
I drink cold coffee, but I know how to use something like this to make it.

Elisa James That's why I made a Second Comment.😉
Too much plastic in my opinion. Why not use the basic metal french press system?
Lol I'm glad I didn't buy that. I thought it was a regular wide mouth thermos
Plunger full of dirt🤢
