Fun Fact: Everyone's voice actors are the same from the first film except for Nemo. Since the two films are 13 years apart, the voice actor for Nemo grew up, and he was the voice of one of the truck drivers, I think he said the line "we are so fired"

Both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory are my favorite Pixar movies. They have a special place in my heart ❤️. Dory is my favorite character. I have autism and it’s really inspiring to see Dory get through her life like her mom said in her own amazing Dory way 💙
I'm also on the spectrum and I like how the writers dealt with Nemo's bad fin and Dory's short-term memory loss! In the first movie, the parts that addressed Nemo's disability, his "lucky" fin, like the part where Marlin talked to Nemo's teacher, Ray, reminded me of my childhood.

An aquarium had fish disappear in an enclosure and they couldn't figure out how/why. Turns out an octopus would escape his enclosure, go across the floor, into the fish tank to eat, and then sneak back to his enclosure. Octopi are extremely smart.

The reunion made me cry
dory saying "hey look shells" is SOOOO CUTE
When this movie came out, I was suffering from an unknown neurological problem that caused me to become extremely dizzy in open spaces. It felt like I was losing control of my body. I cried my eyes out in the theater, Dory's experiences spoke to me so much. I now know what the problem is and am working on getting better, but even watching this I still tear up a bit.

5:26-5:28 - Totally agree. Dory may have not been upset by Marlin's annoyance in Finding Nemo, but this moment here was the rare moment where Dory is stunned and upset by Marlins's anger. Not only did Marlin insult her more harshly than he did before, but also made her doubt herself, lose her confidence, and put their friendship to the hard test.
On one hand I see his side cuz his only serving son almost got eaten by a giant squid(and as much as I love Dory she did kind wake it up by shouting so loud), but on the other hand there are better ways to handle a situation like that. Especially considering her situation.
@@isaacstevenson2960 And to make even more sense is that Marlin unintentionally repeated the same mistake that he did with Nemo in the first film that he did to Dory that indirectly got Dory got captured by humans. Marlin had to go through the same experience here again cause he allowed his anger and stress to consume him again.
Marlin is allowed to be frustrated.
He loves Dory as a close friend but having her with him is like caring after another child that isn't his.
He really wants to protect his Son most of all since Nemo is the only piece left of Coral his Wife and rest of Marlin's Children.
I swear people forget Marlin has lost his Wife and rest of his Children he has PTSD and Anxiety from that.
Okay but Dorys reunion with her parents is probably one of the most saddest scenes ever in an animated movie.
I think we can all unanimously agree that baby Dory was freaking adorable.
I really like Finding Dory! It’s a very nice sequel in my opinion. Ever since the first film, I’ve wondered about Dory’s past and how she was able to get around for so long. The new characters (Hank, Destiny, Bailey, etc.) are a fun cast as well, I like them. That reunion scene with Dory and her parents,...that wrecked me so much! Truly, a beautiful, wholesome moment. Great reaction overall!

I saw this in theaters the ending made me cry.
Oh dang I thought I was the only one who cried like a baby. I guess having some sort of disorder touched me. I didn’t have short term but I was a slow learner so ppl thought I wasn’t able to overcome it but I did & I’m a A/B student

I just noticed that the Beluga from the center is shown in Australian waters at the end of the movie....Beluga's live in the Arctic.....Australian waters would be way too warm for a Beluga
The Octopus sneaking around is actually pretty realistic, they are very smart and clever and there are multiple stories from handlers not to much several You Tube videos of them sneaking out of their supposedly secure tanks. They figure things out you wouldn’t expect (some of those escape videos are hilarious by the way). Another great reaction video, I love how much joy and insight you get from these...so much fun to watch with you
I really like this one , my problem with this is Nemo and Marlin got heavily sidelined

That scene where destiny and Bailey are crying just made me laugh so hard I think I almost lost my voice during recording
The one thing in this movie that never fails to make me laugh is the cop in 16:55 that's randomly just rolling on the ground for some reason.

Fun fact: I believe hank the octopus and his many escapes and aquarium wanderings are based off some real life octopus stories (they can be out of water and “walk around” for up to half an hour) and their tendency to leave its tank and wander/steal from other tanks

Not as good as the first, but still brings on the feels
It sucks the Finding Nemo had the CGI castle for the intro but the sequel doesn't have the CGI Castle intro. But otherwise I thought this film was really good
@@Dashiell777does the castle intro really matter? it doesn't even have anything to do with the movie
Well if you have the DVD version there used to be a CGI Castle and a intro for Pixar that Disney used to use but after Wal.E came out they started using the modern Disney intro which makes me madq😡

The intro makes the movie feel special. Gives you the good feeling when you're getting ready to watch a really nice movie. But it's really hard to find it on DVD now or even streaming services because Disney pretty much removed the intro from all that are films four Pixar
I just realized that the stripes on Dory's dad make a receding hairline.
I find it really inspiring to see how they handle the topic of short term memory loss in this - to show that she can even do it with this issue - and also I love how she slowly remembers stuff - it's a unique storytelling device, at least comparing it to other pixar movies and I love how you are on the search with dory through this - so thanks for reacting to this! :)

this movie wrecked me when i first saw it, it was such a rollercoaster of laugh - cry - oh we're laughing again
This movie was such a big obsession of mine after i first saw it
I hate that people give this movie shit it's just as awesome as the first one, this was'nt just a cash grab Andrew Stanton legit felt like Dory's story needed a conclusion and so did I we knew so little about her after the first movie. Now the story feels pretty complete and everyone's got their happy ending now, the only loose end is the tank gang but honestly reunting with them is enough for a third movie too. Seeing the expertly written ways they handle Dory and her handicap and all of the fun interactions she has with everyone just makes this a very emotional ride.
The fact that I know this is going to make Cody cry and we’re literally 2 minutes in.....🤣

2:37 fun fact during this flashback scene the second Dory says I’ve seen a boat and then Marlon says you have then she says uh-huh and it passed by not too long ago a white one marlin said then she says hi I’m Dory, where which way oh it when this way, but finding Dory they remove the line so after she says uh-huh, she says, and it went this way

Fun fact : the first time I watched finding dory I cried and saw my 6th grade social studies teacher at the theater and he laughed at me.
Finding Nemo and Finding Dory are incredible movies. They pull at my heartstrings so hard every single time. Hilarious and heartwarming and heartbreaking all in one movie.

Finding Nemo is my all time favorite Pixar film and it’s such a comfort movie. When finding dory came out I was so excited and I really enjoyed it, it’s not better than the first one but the heart is still there and it’s great seeing the old characters back

Riley Anderson of Inside Out cameos among the school kids when Dory is first placed in the large aquarium.
The male driver for the Cleaveland transportation car is voiced by Alexander Gould who voiced Nemo in Finding Nemo. Since is obviously too old to voice him anymore, he got this voice role instead.
The truck going over the cliff and into the sea is a reference to the tradegic car accident that killed storyboard man Joe Ranft in 2005 during the produciton of Cars.
I think I'm biased but I think Finding Dory is on par with the first movie, probably because of Hank and his relatability, plus I love ceplalopods and a sucker for the ocean and it's life
(Surprised you never seen Wall-e, it's another great Pixar movie and is breathtaking with its visuals and adorable characters, do recommend and if you have time to watch it you won't regret it (if you did I'm sorry my own memory isn't good but I checked)
