Join me as I watch Madagascar 3 Europe's most wanted for the first time today!
In this one, Alex and the gang join the Circus and make everything hilarious while doing it!
Animal pals Alex (Ben Stiller), Marty (Chris Rock), Melman (David Schwimmer) and Gloria (Jada Pinkett Smith) are still trying to make it back to New York's Central Park Zoo. They are forced to take a detour to Europe to find the penguins and chimps who broke the bank at a Monte Carlo casino. When French animal-control officer Capitaine Chantel DuBois (Frances McDormand) picks up their scent, Alex and company are forced to hide out in a traveling circus

She was actually singing their country’s Alma Martyr, it gives people their pride. It’s really effective, it’s kind of like the Star-Spangled Banner.

I'd like to point out that in the first movie they established canon that animals still sound like animals to humans. So imagine what people are hearing when they try to talk to them
It was hinted at in the first movie as Alex on the phone just sounded like a lion roaring to the operator
My favorite scenes of this movie are:

Europe’s Most Wanted is my favorite film of the Madagascar trilogy! Watched it in 3D and it was spectacular, definitely one of the funnest movie experiences I’ve ever had!

This is my favourite Madagascar film, it’s hilarious, it’s a lot of fun. And I don’t think there should be a sequel.

Which I don’t mind. I feel like as long as the humor is left intact, which I kinda trust DW with, it’ll just be fun. Will it be as good as this one? Maybe. Maybe not. But I don’t think the quality will dip that much

Gods, this movie is pure lunatic perfection, I love every minute of it. Rainbowy lightning in a bottle, with some genuinely heartfelt scenes, we shall never see its like again :P

8:14 Can we talk about this moment? When Dubois almost falls onto her death Mort is just grinning at her. Meanwhile we can see the regret in Alex's face, that is until she falls into a pool by pure luck. This shows alot about their characters.
Mort always grins. He's just like that. I doubt he's sadistic just rambunctious.
Yeah I really like that! He didn’t give a damn anymore in the end when he gives his “you just messed with the king” speech but here he still feels guilty about possibly killing her.

Afro Circus destroyed me! When it first appeared as a trailer, I thought I was going to bust a gut laughing! A friend found a photo with captions showing someone doing the afro circus 10 minute challenge and it showed them commenting every minute and their descent into insanity 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I thought Monsters versus Aliens was funny. But knowing that these monsters were locked up for 50 years because of the general it kind of hurts the film a bit

At the end of the 2nd Movie, Alex did say “New York’s not leaving without us, right guys?” So they did intend to leave it open ended….. it does feel weird that the parents didn’t even get a mention….
I remember seeing this movie in the theaters. It’s honestly one of my favorite animated movies and probably one of my favorite movies ever. I love this movie.

As a French, I love Chantal Dubois, she is, with Dave, one of the best antagonist in the license

I just realised in the end of the movie Duboi and her evil gang got sent to Madagascar (exactly where alex and his friends went in the first movie) and in Madagascar it has all of King Julian's Lemur Friends there and since there were dead human skeletons at that place it could mean the lemurs did kill the humans there which means....Dubois would've gotten eaten by all the lemurs and possibly the Foosas...that's a pretty dark theory .
Human skeletons were there because the people that landed were stuck and couldn’t get out. And Dubois will easily be able to kill the fossas lol

Actually there was supposed to be a 4th Madagascar movie too and it was supposed to be the finale of the Madagascar franchise. But it kept getting pushed back and eventually they cancelled it. But I've heard it's also coming back in the future.

Well I really love Madagascar 3. It is the best movie of the trilogy. I love the songs, the circus performance scene in London and the ending. It is a legendary masterpiece movie.

Ah man I remember seeing this one in theaters... and then I remember how crazy the Afro Cirrus song broke into the world. The DVD I got came with the a rainbow afro wig lol. ALSO the answer to your question about the song the lady was singing was called "Non, je ne regrette rien" it's a famous French song originally song by the artist Édith Piaf. I've seen it used in some other movies before but it's a nice song to listen to.
Also x2 I almost forgot. If you wanted to for the holiday season, I remember there was a old short for Madagascar called The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper
. It was always something I loved watching along with the original movie. But it's up to you if you wanted to check it out.
They also did a Valentines Day Special. I'd skip that and recommend Penguins Christmas Caper instead. It has the return of Crazy Nana plus her viscious little dog!
