Flightless birds lead a mostly happy existence, except for Red (Clay Kaytis), who just can't get past the daily annoyances of life. His temperament leads him to anger management class, where he meets fellow misfits Chuck (Fergal Reilly) and Bomb.

The reason why I like this movie. Because Red, Chuck and Bomb are like The Three Stooges. For example, Red is Moe because his anger issue and their leader, Chuck is Larry because he funny, and Bomb is Curly because... well... he's also funny too.
I’m my opinion, I think Chuck could be Curly, and Bomb could be Larry.
When a movie has the balls to start with a joke involving an egg being crushed you know someone's putting in the work
I think we need to make a list for how many dirty adult jokes there are in this movie

This movie is a guilty pleasure of mine… I remember back in 2013 I’d get home from school and go play Angry Birds Star Wars, it was too good! The glory days.

Yeah, in the game he's godly! In the movie he's basically a joke, but it works! So I'm ok with it, except when they use movie eagle in the games
Yes, Cody, pigs really DO eat eggs in real life. Actually they'll eat anything if it tastes good for them.
Pigs are also one of the few animals that can eat bones

This movie was actually pretty good. I've seen it in the theater with my friend when we were younger and we both enjoyed it. Looking at it now its still good. Well... Except the whole ,,Mighty Eagle pissing joke". It dragged on for too long xD

This movie is honestly very fun and very cute too. It definitely deserves a lot more credit. I also think the sequel did a great job too
I didn't like the sequel very much becouse it kinda broke some things in the angry birds franchise but the first one was good.
@angry_birds_Sanic thank god I'm not the only one. I thought the sequel was a bit cringe cuz there were less adult jokes. And the whole thing with the birds and the pigs becoming friends was bullshit to me.
I have not watched the sequel since release so probably need to rewatch it again to get some more thoughts on it but ya haha. The first one was fun and the animation was really cute; fun kids movie but nothing Oscar worthy xD@@CoolShorty

I didn’t get into the Angry Birds until a Rio version of the game was released. As for the film itself, I thought it was pretty good to be honest. I liked it.🙂
I used to think Angry Birds was based on Rio
This was a while ago there was a time when i liked Rio or the Ice Age i use not love Thoses movies but like them. But now I’m like nah not really there good movies don’t get me wrong but there just not for me personally.

One thing that was constantly on my mind after i watched this movie for the first time, which was if Terence was Red’s brother, because of how similar they look except their sizes. They both have 3 feathers on their head, the circle on their stomachs, and of course the eyebrows
As the guy above my comment says, yeah, in the games they are cousins, so that's why the similarities.
When I first saw The Angry Birds Movie in 2016 it was okay. I like the characters and I love the colorful of birds. I love Leonard and the pigs being twist villains. I love how Red save the eggs from the pigs and all the birds build Red house and finally love him. Red is finally beloved by all the birds.
Saw this movie in the theater as a middle school award for Winlock, and I loved playing Angry Birds as a kid. My favorites were the crossovers.
I watched this movie in theaters and we were all just laughing at that mighty eagle scene!
I think this movie, not the first Sonic movie, proved that you can make GOOD movies about video games

I still can’t believe that Bubbles and Hal were voiced by Ian And Anthony from Smosh!
I really loved the first one with a passion the humor was gold😂👌
Fun fact that I think some of us forgot about this movie: Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla were in this! Anthony was the boomerang bird and Ian was the orange inflatable bird.
That orange bird that inflates is voiced by ian from smosh and the green bird with the long beak who boomeranged is voiced by Anthony from smosh

This was a really fun and funny movie and it's quite good as well. For me, the first time that I've heard about Angry Birds was seeing my uncle playing the original Angry Birds on facebook and from that moment on I've started to play well almost all of the games. I've even collected some of the toys as well. For the games that I've played were the original one that released on facebook, AB Space, AB Star Wars, AB Star Wars II, AB Rio, AB Transformers, Angry Birds 2 and a bit of AB Seasons & AB Go. Even though I've moved on from these games, Angry Birds is one of childhood memories.
People say the Sonic Movie started the era of video game adapted movies being good but that just makes the Angry Birds movie underrated because people don’t actually give it enough credits

I absolutely love this movie and I can totally see myself in Red
and I love Terence he's so angry and funny
You know that seeing world all the birds turned to red for how to get their eggs back is actually a really strong moment for the character Red couldn't just said no you go get your eggs you guys made fun of me my whole life but no the fact that he went with them and actually helped them get their eggs back shows how much of a character red is hes a good guy at heart even if hes been picked on hes still a good character

I like how everyone is in a sense accurate yo the games except for Eagle. Eagle in the games is this giant monster that all the birds fear and can destroy everything with ease

My fun fact: I think Chuck is wearing the "same" wig from the Angry Birds Toon episode "Mona litha"
(Where he dated a literal boulder, and at the end the boulder was crushed and so he decided to be the gf and wore the wig)

The sequel is actually pretty good, it’s more like a fun comedy than an Angry Birds adaptation.
There is some dark lore in this movie. During the slingshot fight scene, when the mime is launched, a pig can be seen eating a hotdog.
This movie is so solid and funny as hell,
And the 2nd part is so much better, everyone was surprised.
Angry Birds Movies is just pure masterpiece and iconic. Like he said The Adult Humor is really Insanely good

I love your reaction to this Angry Birds movie and I gotta say, I liked it, it brings me a lot of nostalgia way back in the early 2010s when I played this game and I'm happy that they actually told the canon names for the birds in the game! While I prefer the sequel I have a soft spot for the first movie ( also the lake of Wiz was f***ing hilarious)

Red is just so relatable
The mighty eagle pool scene is one of the funniest cartoon scenes ever.
They created THIS beauty from a mobile game.... nice
pigs WILL eat eggs, whether they are cooked, raw and both with/without the shell, although raw is not recommended.
My favourite part of the movie is that after Bomb and Chuck drank the lake of wisdom. They saw Mighty Eagle pissing on the lake... which makes it very uncomfortable for them and funny to look at.🤣🤣🤣

My favorite Angry Birds game was the Rio version. Oh man. Childhood nostalgia. That said, I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. Also, I always get Surf's Up vibes from this movie.

Played the game and was excited for the movie
As an Angry Birds kid I thought this movie was ok. They way they treat Red was kinda cruel and unfunny and the mighty eagle stuff was dumb. I still found this movie fairly entertaining and funny and it wasn’t too disrespectful to the property. The sequel however is directed by the guy behind Flabjack to be fun comedy rather than an Angry Birds adaptation. Other than that Angry Birds toons is the real treat.
I just wanted to see his reaction to the Rick roll part.
