IMO there are two downsides to that tablet, one is the 2lb weight, and the other the high price. NITS rating can be pretty subjective since the eye is logarithmic. Some NITS of different devices that can be used for drone application:
Tripltex = 1200 NITS
Galaxy Note 10 = 1308 NITS
Galaxy Note 8 = 1200 NITS
DJI Smart Controller = 1000 NITS
iPad Mini 5 = 500 NITS
Log(500)=2.7
Log(1200)=3.08
This suggests that there is little difference in the eye response to NITS over a wide range of device NITS. Don't buy the specs, buy the result.
I usually use the light weight iPad Mini 5 with sunshield. The sunshield allows the iPad display to be easily seen in bright sunlight. The sunshield also keeps the iPad cool in bright sunlight.

I bought this last week and after a few days of flying it puts a lot of strain on your wrists because it is quite heavy. Have you experienced the same issue?

I have this tablet and there may be an issue with the compass not being accurate or not functioning correctly. Running google maps, if I point to north, the icon will point to south. If I rotate left, the icon rotates right. Running dji fly app 1.2.2 or higher, not getting exact tablet position - If I move to the left, the icon moves to the right. Tried to calibrate but no go. Anyone with the tablet experiencing similar issue?

I would contact their customer care website. Tripltek@info something...
Check their website I did today. I sent them an email directly and they responded back 30min later.

I like the tablet but unfortunately I bought a tablet holder for my Evo from the website it broke the first day and I emailed them twice they haven’t responded I wouldn’t recommend a tablet holder from Tripltek!!

You are exactly right about the tablet holder but my experience with Tripltek has been absolutely phenomenal. I have the Pro also.
My first holder broke on the first day and I made a RUclips comment on it here: ruclips.net/video/UMAeC5QqlfM/видео.html They responded minutes later, acknowledged the issue and immediately sent out a replacement to me without issue. The replacement broke also as fast as I got it and I notified them again and they sent me the NEW VERSION of the mount for the Mavic Air 2 seen here: ruclips.net/video/fcICOzEVVHU/видео.html
I’m not sure if there is a new one fir the Evo...
I would suggest you try contact through a youtube comment. I’m sure Elisa will be very helpful with your issue. She was with me.
