  • In this episode we set up our homestead at the DeBerti Ranch. We get ready for cows, chickens etc. Setting up a homestead sounds easy.. its not. In fact there are so many things that go into creating a homestead. Hope y'all enjoy the steps we go though to get this set up. Once its done this place will be a generational place that will be 100% self sufficient for our family. Most kids now days have no idea where meat comes from nor do they know how animals are raised. I do have a question that I need some help with..
WHAT KIND OF COWS DO WE GET? WE WANT THE BEST QUALITY COWS IN THE WORLD!!! We cant do this half way, we need to raise the best meat we possibly can!

I know it’s too late, but if you have to move another container off the cement, throw a couple pipes under the end opposite the fork truck. Then just push it off.

But with that land I would have already made a shooting range!!!!
When TSHTF you will need firearms to keep what you have!!!
Those that do not have will come and try to take what you have!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great content! Agree with getting that container off the ground… those things get pretty hot in the summer so I’d probably insulate it or put one of those automatic fans like they have for greenhouses… that way your feed and whatnot doesn’t spoil. Oh and make sure to keep it safe from field mice!

Cool a farm 🚜 for kids to grow up on . My dad had 200head of cows 🐄 we milk 🥛 100. In the morning and 100 in afternoon every day + 1000 sheep . The bon-fire would be as big as your sea. Container all the farmers around would toss all there fencing onto it for hole year and we have Bonfire night with fireworks🎆🎇🧨🎆🎇🧨

11:35, You own the land. My bad, you rent the land via land tax. You have to ask Daddy if you can have a fire in your burn pit? Not even your daddy but the person that you pay to keep you safe. He will sell you a permit to burn?

It depends on what you want to do with the cows. If you want dairy Jerseys are about the best. If you want beef for slaughter Angus or Hereford are good but there are lots of different breeds. You need to plant some fruit trees and bushes like raspberries and blueberries. Be sure and fence off your garden to keep the critters out. You should also run a water line to wherever you are putting the garden while you have the equipment. Good luck with your endeavours you will never regret doing what you’re doing.

Rocky or hard ground we tapper the ends to a 45° and then I got a John Deere backhoe with an attachment for the wire fence. Alot of horse farms i do want boards up but they did a great job on yours
