i do diy all the time from my job as a apprentice plumber, to a son of a father who has always done his own work and fixing everything and taught me alot, to being a car guy and a guy wanting to race and learn drifting.......DIY is my life. LOL been loving these videos its always amazing watching concrete and building guys just go HAM and props to the fence guys beautiful fence! Keep up all you do and thank you again cant wait to see more car stuff as well as construction stuff!
Great video, Brad. Man that place looks awesome. Lot of hard work going in to that project. So happy for you and your pops. You two making great memories together. Cherish every moment you can with him. Thanks for sharing.
Also, I work commercial construction, and seeing how fast those guys erected that steel is no surprise. However, it is awesome seeing customers (like yourself) so amazed and appreciative of the hard work put in to get a project done in a timely matter!
I'm in Florida now. But I lived in Mooresville for 20 years. And I can tell where that area is. You're not to far from Dale Jr. One of my friends lives out by Triplett and I drove by the area often. I hope I can stop by and see you when I come home around Christmas.
Awesome seeing this come together. I love the reactions of people who aren't around this type of work every day. A good crew can be really efficient and work quickly. I get to see it daily as a construction manager. Local to y'all as well over in Concord. Looking forward to seeing more. Will y'all do any meets at this location like you did at the other shop?
i live in lake Wylie, i have a 30x35 steel building i did next to my original 25x25 2 car garage , i did 2 lifts in the new building and then 2500 additional sqft of drive way
Maybe sure the electrician labe everything and makes it super uniform in the box. Make it look pretty. Diesel Brothers did a tour of a full off the grid multi million dollar home. And the wiring was the prettiest thing I've ever seen. Meticulous attention to detail.
So amazing to see such a great family do so well! I’m Super happy for you guys and can’t wait to see how everything is gonna look inside when your done! You guys moved from Calif right? Any regrets? I’m in Calif and have been telling my wife we need to move.
That duct us called Spiral ductwork. The machine is a coil line that makes it into spiral. Tin knocker shop guys make that stuff. And the iron heads that I used to see would be running across beams with their harness on but lanyard just dangling behind hooked to Nothing. Those iron heads are brave mofos
Everyone is going black on their buildings Seems hot for NC and really hard to keep clean! Really like your videos and never miss them So much fun to watch I just wish you could at least get a nascar truck ride
Are they? We got lucky on this building and someone ordered it then couldnt buy it so we were able to get it. Thanks so much! If your at sema that could happen!
To me DIY means Destroy It Yourself 😎 JK.....i love the relationship you n ur pops are havin....wish i can do the same wth mine...i work far from him. As a welding enthusiast, in my channel i gt a few DIY projects of my own, jus tht i dont love the cam but i been doing some cool stff. I am as handy as any capable man can be.....soon i be building my own house from scratch, meaning i did my own plan from a professional level. Now i jus wana give my building skills a good taste. Big up guys.
LOL I love that!!!! thats pretty awesome dude I love talking with people that can draw and fab its a true art! Thanks for messaging me on here dudes like you are what make me want to build more cars. Good luck on everything!
@@DeBerti Awesome. Been watching some of your previous work from Discovery channel. You guys are inspirational. Keep up the good work. Keep building those cars man 💪 All the best. 😉
That was a flawless unload of those culverts. I don't know what you guys are whining about it. He had to either drop it or you two hand load it. He dropped it without damaging your precious fenders, you should be happy.
are you guys useing code word farm for a shop ? for permit reasons ? big parking lot in front of a barn yea dont see that normally i mean i can understand why your calling it a barn but i dont see it was acually intended for a barn i know when you where looking for land you wanted to build a shop vs renting a building
If you’re going to condense weeks of footage down to one video please Don’t be afraid to make this a 30 minute video. I want to watch as much of the process as possible.
You should go with a concrete wall made by Mack Industries, they make great privacy walls and do amazing work. We have a commercial contract for cleaning with them and the walls they make are amazing.
@@DeBerti I am retired at 62 with over 40 years in construction, Thx ya ! I used to work on my own cars and built several 1/4 milers. Your young learn as much as you can about everything you can, it will serve you best as you get older... BTW I am enjoying my retirement just fine thx !
if you care about the trailer you should rent a trailer or use a scrap hauler. You wouldn't drive a fancy truck to haul gravel. There is no time to waste in construction business it's get in get out.
We have one for rocks and things thats not nice but we didnt plan on the guy doing that haha we almost passed out I wish you could of seen my face when he dropped it
@@DeBerti if one of the workers at your place went to pick that up do you think his supervisor would be happy to slow production to have a cleanly loaded trailer? No, he would rip the kids ass off.
I seen some haters in comments. I'm happy for you and your dad. To me your building looks longer than 150 feet. The dumbass that loaded your trailer probably thinks it's a rental and not yours. I like the entrance but a suggestion? 🤔 Make the top removable in case something taller is brought in. You lose height really fast when something is brought in on a trailer.
Don I appreciate you more than you know man. thank you. We are making it 14ft 4" so we never have something that couldn't fit. We have a second driveway just in case
@@DeBerti That's awesome Brad. I hope I didn't upset anyone. I didn't know but I had hoped you had a second entrance just in case. Is your building 150 feet long? On TV it looks 200 to 250 long. Very nice.
Have you ever done a diy project?? If so id love to hear what you did and how did it turn out?

Built a loft in my double high 2 car garage. Turned out very functional but still not as nice as your garage! Blassed day!
Still waiting on my call to say come to work
My wife and I built our last two houses. The current one is a bardominium. Watching your building go up brought back a lot of memories.
love it people meat the real, rough and tumble world of construction
Yep they were barely dropped on the trailer and each pipe might weigh maybe 200/300 lbs each not 1000lbs.
Great video, Brad. Man that place looks awesome. Lot of hard work going in to that project. So happy for you and your pops. You two making great memories together. Cherish every moment you can with him. Thanks for sharing.
The forklift driver just went full send turboboost engaged when dropping those pipes. Reminded me of someone else I used to watch
The barn looks really good, it’s going be an amazing place. I’m sure your baby will enjoy the farm.
Thanks tom. She already does its going to be here for generations and we are going to make so many memories

Definitely the right thing to do, Painting all of the Metal Black before the Roof and walls were built, Looks so much better than if it was left red.
Thanks Gary we figured it would be a lot easier to do it that way!
Holy smokes that’s a lot of work!! Congrats Brad and I can’t wait to see what is next.
Love seeing the hard work put in brad keep grinding. Much love man 🤘🏻 stay safe!

Can't wait to see you guys burning some tires down on that new slab. Proud of you both and happy for you.
Epic garage. Paint them black. 4 am is late we start are pours at 1am in Florida when pouring 600 yards.
Hope you have another entrance for high vehicles cuz that doesn't look like it's going to be high enough for motorhomes and etc

I thought the culverts were going in a ditch horizontally 😂
Watch out for OSHA my bro, looking good though. You guys came along way with a barn.
Use Bed liner on those entrance poles. Looking good so far. 🤙
thats actually a good idea!!
They'd would look great in BLACK!!!
That's done by tents when you do excavating and elevating everything is done in tense cuz it's better on blueprints as well and grading

Paint the corrugated pipe black to match the building! It would look sick !!!!
